After the success of their previous event - In This Now: Music & Art Experience - husband & wife duo return to Caversham Baptist Church to offer a moment of spacious stillness & reflection before the Christmas rush. Awaken to the Beauty of being here, now. About the Artists Piano by Edward Chilvers seeks to expand the limitations of music & guide the listener into a meditative state. He specialises in multi-tempo piano, designed to stretch & still the mind, and is passionate about creating Art that enhances the listener: “Music should improve the mind & consciousness of the recipient. It should liberate, bring one into the present moment, satisfy our thirst for depth & meaning. It should inspire us to be greater” says Chilvers. Visual Art & Meditation is presented by Talor Chilvers-Clarke. Her photographs create breathing space amongst the visual noise & present the viewer with new ways of seeing: to see the ethereal in the everyday and to observe the beauty of colour, form, & motion. Her work aims to capture a sense of the transcendental, a reality that is no less real, through rarely witnessed. Talor will also be guiding participants through meditations.
