Get ready to enhance your road cycling skills and ride safely on the streets with our in-person Road Cycling Safety Training- License Certified Instructor event. This two-part training, sponsored by the Major Taylor Cycling Club SC Advocacy Program, is designed for both beginners and experienced cyclists looking to take their road cycling abilities to the next level. Join us on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the venue located at 320 N Laurel St, Summerville, SC. 

During this training, you will have the opportunity to learn from our expert League Cycling Instructors (LCIs). They will share valuable tips on navigating traffic, improving bike handling, and understanding the rules of the road. Through interactive workshops and hands-on practice, you will gain confidence in various cycling scenarios and essential maneuvers. Our goal is to have 150 LCIs certified by October 2024, enabling them to teach Smart Cycling classes to both children and adults. 

To participate, a $100 registration fee is required, which covers all workshop materials. Make sure to bring your bicycle and safety helmets with you to class.
