Three summers, more than 75 festival shows, and still hungry for more: Treptow, an alternative rock duo from Berlin, has become one of Germany’s top festival bands. With over 14 million streams and more than 300 concerts in 12 countries under their belt, the Berlin-based duo is gearing up for another jam-packed year. Without backing tracks or safety nets, the two-piece delivers the fury and raw energy of a full punk band. With poetry, intensity, and humor, the two friends take the stage with an unmatched drive. Philipp Taubert, singer and guitarist, was born and raised in East Berlin, right in the heart of the capital. Lukas Lindner, drummer and Philipp’s brother from another mother, grew up in a small town by Lake Constance. With Mozambican roots and a restless spirit, he was drawn to the road—just like Philipp. After finishing school, both felt the urge to break free, leave their familiar surroundings behind, and eventually meet each other on their travels. A few years of friendship later, in 2017, they launched their eponymous band in the Berlin district of Treptow and have been shaking up the German-speaking music scene ever since. The park is not big, but it is very fun. We played twice on the adventure of Pooh Bear and the small world of seven continents. The roller coaster is too short, only 1 minute. The main happiness is that the cute and loving dolls in each store are brought by, and the photos are cool.

We had a good time with family. The place is pretty well maintained and spacious. The terrain is hilly and can be steep for the older folks. The rides are all inclusive and no extra charges are required, eg cable car rides and express train. Food can be a tad expensive. Otherwise, it is a good place to spend the day.

I was a bit skeptical about taking the Peak Tram, however, I really enjoyed the ride. The scenery going up the hill is fascinating, and going on a Tuesday afternoon in June I did not find any queue or crowd. It was a sunny and clear day and the view from both the tram and the Sky Terrace was amazing. The fact that there are two shopping areas with restaurants makes the experience even more convenient, also to have a break from the outside heat. I think it is a must see for first timers in HK like me.
