The Run Against Breast Cancer 5K/10K/13.1 SAN DIEGO is an event that is expected to sell out quickly. Waves will be closed off as soon as they fill up, so don't wait to sign up. However, if the waves are sold out, there is still an option to participate in the virtual run. This allows you to stand together against cancer by completing a 5K, 10K, or 21K Half Marathon on your own. 

After completing the run, participants will receive a special commemorative pin or ribbon as a keepsake. It's important to note that a portion of the proceeds from the run, as well as 100% of the fundraising efforts, will be donated to the American Cancer Society. This organization is the oldest and largest cancer organization in the United States.

The run itself is organized in small, private waves with a limited number of participants. All paces and ages are welcome, and you can choose to run or walk. There is no need for any special equipment or setup as the focus is on supporting you in achieving your goals.

Timing for the run is stress-free and optional. If you choose to track your time, coordinators will provide bib numbers to help you keep track. 

As part of the swag bag, participants will receive a premium running shirt, which will be shipped directly to their registered address. Additionally, a finisher's medal will be awarded to all participants. 

There is no need to pick up packets as all swag will be shipped to your address. Race bibs will be provided on race day.
