The Run Against Breast Cancer NYC is an upcoming event that is expected to sell out quickly. In fact, waves will be closed off as soon as they fill up. However, if the waves are sold out, participants can still sign up for the virtual run option. This event aims to raise funds for the American Cancer Society, the oldest and largest cancer organization in the United States. A percentage of the run proceeds, along with 100% of the fundraising, will go towards supporting this important cause.

Fundraising is optional for participants, but those who choose to do so can create a profile during registration or on the event's webpage. This small and private group run is limited to only 15-20 participants per wave, allowing for a more intimate experience. Runners and walkers of all ages and paces are welcome to join.

The run offers a stress-free environment to help participants achieve their goals. While timing chips are not provided, coordinators can assist in keeping track of individual times using bib numbers. Participants will receive a premium running shirt and a finisher's medal as part of their swag bag. Packet pickup is not required, as all swag will be shipped directly to the registered address.

The event will take place at the Hudson River Trails in New York City, on February 24, 2024. Wave times are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Late runners can still participate, as coordinators will be available for up to 3 hours after the first wave.

For those unable to attend in person, a virtual run option is available. Participants can choose their own time and location for the run, using any tracking device. Upon completion, they can submit their results to receive a medal.

Additionally, participants have the option to sign up for multiple races as a bundle, with a discount offered. Sponsors are also welcome to promote their businesses at the event. Volunteers for the event can sign up to help organize and support the runs.

Finally, when registering for the Run Against Breast Cancer NYC, participants will have the opportunity to gift a registration to someone who may not be able to afford it. This gesture allows more individuals to take part in this important cause.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a stunning art hall with a rich collection of art to linger. Whether it is ancient Egyptian statues, European Renaissance paintings, or Asian calligraphy and porcelain, each hall is like a window to different civilizations. Standing in the Egyptian Pavilion and watching the fully restored Danyu Temple is enough to marvel at the exquisiteness of ancient craftsmanship. In the European Painting Pavilion, Van Gogh&#39;s &quot;Rye and Cypress&quot; and Monet&#39;s &quot;Waterlily&quot; are near, and each one is full of vitality. The armor and weapons exhibition hall is like entering the world of medieval knights, those finely carved armor seems to still tell the story of the battlefield. Even after a whole day of shopping, I feel that there is not enough time. Every time I enter a hall, I can find new surprises and I am reluctant to leave.
