We are the Iowa Brewery Running Series® and we run for root beer and Backpocket brew! 🏃‍♂️🍻 See you at Backpocket Brewing on Sunday, July 13th! Join us for a kid mile root beer run and a 5K-ish fun run that starts and ends at Backpocket Brewing. No matter your skill level, this event is for all ages and all fitness levels. Move at your own pace, enjoy some fresh air, and then celebrate with a locally made, cold root beer (if you're a kid) or craft beer (if you're an adult) at the finish line! 🎉 Event Details: 📅 When: Sunday, July 13th| Both fun runs start from the taproom at 11AM 📍 Where: Backpocket Brewing in Coralville 🗺️ Course: We’ve mapped out a 1 mile course within the 5k course that starts and ends at the taproom, showing off the Iowa River. Celebrate at the Finish Line! 🎉 The 5k registration includes: 🍺 One craft beverage from Backpocket Brewing 🎁 Collector's pint glass or a series swag item from the Brewery Running Series 🎶 Access to the day’s festivities including live music and games with our partners and sponsors …and more! Important Event Details: 🏃‍♀️ Untimed fun run – All walkers, runners, and joggers are welcome! 🚶‍♂️ Open course – The event takes place on public roads, so you are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and being aware of your surroundings. 🆔 ID required – Bring a valid ID or driver’s license. You don’t need to be 21 to participate, but you must be 21+ to enjoy the beer 🍻. Underage participants will receive a token for a root beer or non-alcoholic beverage 🍹. 🌧️ Rain or shine – The event will go on, no matter the weather! ✨ Limited registration – To ensure the best experience, registration is limited to the size of the taproom.
