Join the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot Run in San Antonio, Texas, and get ready to run off that turkey before dinner! This small, private group run takes place on November 25, 2023, at the scenic Lady Bird Trail. With a limit of just 15 participants per wave, this event offers an intimate and enjoyable running experience for all ages and paces. Whether you prefer to run or walk, everyone is welcome to participate. You don't need any special equipment or setup – just lace up your shoes and hit the trail! 
This stress-free run is designed to support you in achieving your fitness goals. While there are no timing chips, our coordinators can provide you with bib numbers to help you keep track of your time if desired. As part of the Swag Bag, you'll receive a premium running shirt and a finisher's medal (which will be emailed to you after the run). Packet pickup is hassle-free, as all swag will be shipped directly to your address. 
Choose your desired wave time from Wave A (7:30 AM), Wave B (8:30 AM), or Wave C (9:00 AM). Late runners can join upon arrival, as our coordinators will be available for up to 3 hours after the first wave. For those looking to support the event or promote their business, sponsorship and vendor opportunities are available. 
By participating in this event, you also have the opportunity to give back. For every registration, we will gift a registration to someone who may not be able to afford it, providing them with a memorable running experience and cool running swag. We partner with non-profits that work with at-risk youth, orphans, and marginalized individuals.

It&#39;s rare to see so many people in the US. The riverside walk was truly beautiful, even though it was quite hot in early October. The buildings along the river are quite exotic, with a Spanish-style feel. You can take a 35-minute boat tour for about $15.50. At night, the illuminated buildings along the river are truly atmospheric.

The San Antonio Life Insurance Building is a landmark historic building in downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. The 31-story building is 123 meters tall. The building opened in 1929 and was originally known as the Smith-Young Tower, with the Smith brothers purchasing the building in 1943. In 1953, a television transmission tower was added to the structure. A 2010 renovation removed the outdated television mast and replaced it with the tower&#39;s original design, a copper canopy with a 100-foot-tall flagpole.

The only world cultural heritage site in Texas is in San Antonio. The five Spanish missions, including The Alamo, not only witnessed the history of the Spanish colonial period, but also displayed the culture of Spanish missionaries and indigenous residents. No tickets are required, but parking costs about $40. There are staff members showing the items used by people at that time, and there are also people explaining on the spot... It is worth everyone to learn about the Battle of the Alamo at that time.

The San Antonio Zoo is a great place for families, with plenty of attractions for kids, a good mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, and lots of spots to rest. The animals seem well cared for, and there&rsquo;s a wide variety to see, from giraffes to playful otters. The layout makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelmed, and there are plenty of snack stands and shaded areas to take a break. The highlight of our visit was the kangaroo experience, where we got to walk among them up close. Overall, it&rsquo;s a fun, well-maintained zoo that&rsquo;s worth a visit.
