It is easy to get to the suburbs of Auckland by bus from the CBD. Pleasantly, it feels very different from Queen Street, a place with lots of windshield houses, cafes and shops, located on a high point with a great view of Oakland. We spent a pleasant afternoon strolling around the main area and felt that the area did have a &quot;high-end market&quot; atmosphere.

Although Mount Eden is not high, you can overlook the whole of Auckland from the top of the mountain, and the view is particularly wide.
