The School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University is pleased to offer in-depth tours of the Purnell Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh. These tours are designed for students and their families who are interested in learning more about the university and the School of Drama. Please note that the tours are available by appointment only and are conducted by current students under the guidance of staff members. Tours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, starting at 12:00 pm. Unfortunately, weekend tours are not available at this time.

During the 45-60 minute tour, visitors will have the opportunity to explore our state-of-the-art classrooms and performance venues. Additionally, you will gain insight into the School of Drama's audition, interview, and application process, as well as our esteemed conservatory training program. You will also have the chance to learn from our internationally recognized faculty and discover what life is like for a student at the School of Drama.

Due to the sensitive nature of our classes, we do not have an open door policy for visiting students attending classes. However, we are committed to providing a comprehensive and informative tour experience.
