Experience the SheJumps WILD SKILLS Junior Ski Patrol event at Burke Mountain in East Burke, VT on March 3, 2024. Partnering with Kingdom East Afterschool Programs, SheJumps presents a day camp aimed at girls in grades 3-8th. This event focuses on mentoring young girls in mountain safety and first aid, led by the strong women of the ski patrol community. Participants will engage in workshops covering first aid, weather, toboggans, and more to encourage skill development, challenge-taking, and creativity. The goal is to empower girls to learn, connect, and have fun in a nurturing environment with female mentors. Registration includes lift tickets, lunch, and snacks, with free attendance for Kingdom East School District students. Non-district students can register for $40, with scholarships available. Participants are required to bring their ski/snowboard equipment and dress appropriately. The day's schedule includes various activities and ends with free skiing.
