Join the Sloth Run 5K/10K/13.1 LAS VEGAS, a small and private group run in beautiful Phoenix at the Indian Bend Greenbelt. This unique event is perfect for sloth lovers and running enthusiasts alike. Not only will you have the opportunity to run with other like-minded individuals, but you will also be supporting a great cause. A portion of the net proceeds, as well as 100% of fundraising efforts, will go to The Sloth Conservation Foundation. This organization works with local communities to create win-win situations for humans and sloths. Fundraising is optional, but highly encouraged.
This event is capped at just 15 participants per wave to ensure everyone's health and safety. All paces and ages are welcome, so whether you prefer to run or walk, you can participate. No equipment or setup is required, just a pure run through a scenic route. If there are fewer than 7 runners, a Meetup or Virtual Run will be designated. However, if there are 8 or more participants, a coordinator will be present.
When you sign up for the Sloth Run, you're not just signing up for a run, but for a journey towards better health. You will receive a Swag bag, which includes a running shirt and either a finisher's medal or a custom mug. Additionally, you will gain access to a virtual community of runners from around the world. Phoenix Zoo is located in Tempe Arizona and it is by far one of the best zoos I have been to. There are many attractions to the zoo like the wildlife. Phoenix Zoo has places like sea life walk where you can go see the sea life. The have a trail called Desert trail where you can see all the desert animals. they also have an area where you can see all the flowers in Arizona. they have a kid&#39;s land for just the kids they have a water park for the kids the animals that you see are mainly ones that you would see in a safari because it is a desert. Arizona You Don&#39;t See Much of like polar bears. it&#39;s a great little Zoo it&#39;s not too big not too little and I highly suggest if you&#39;re going to go to the Phoenix Zoo do not go in the summer I would plan to come in the winter where is more nice not so hot and you&#39;ll see a lot more animals than if you were to come in the summer it is 120&deg; here in Arizona during the summer and in the winter it gets up to about 70&deg; during the day so be a perfect time to come in the Winter.

It was a really big park. I went from the southern end along the canal trail to the north end and stopped at the rocky cave, which took about an hour. It was a great place to relax, exercise and picnic. I loved the change between the green spaces around the lake and the arid areas filled with cactus. And was stunned by the bird life around. It is really hot so apply sunscreen and bring enough water.

You can see the sunrise and sunset of Phoenix here
I went there twice this year
I arrived at around 8am in March to see the blue sky and wild flowers
I arrived at around 5am in June to see many tourists waiting for the sunrise
This place is right next to the zoo and the Desert Botanical Garden
Free attractions
Travel route
Bring breakfast and watch the sunrise and have breakfast at the Cave in the Stone
Then go to the Desert Botanical Garden at around 8am to see all kinds of desert plants and animals
At noon, have a good meal at the restaurant in the botanical garden
If you like, go to the zoo in the afternoon (but I don&#39;t like it)
