Songs of Loss Date: 14th March 2025 Time: 7:30pm Location: St Phillip's Cathedral, Bimringham Join Contrepoint for an evening of poignant reflection and emotional resonance as we present Songs of Loss, a choral concert exploring the universal themes of grief, remembrance, and healing through the power of music. Featuring a carefully curated program spanning centuries, this performance invites the audience on a journey through the depths of sorrow and the beauty found in shared human experience. The programme will be based around Tomás Luis de Victoria's requiem mass, Officium defunctorum (1605) for 6 voices. Interspersed between the movements will be traditionally lenten pieces as well as newly commissioned pieces and arrangements.

Birmingham Cathedral is very quiet from the train station. Here you can see the simple style of the whole building on the sidewalk on the north side of the train station and the dense complex next to the train station. Because it was almost destroyed during World War II, Birmingham has rarely had this. Historical buildings are preserved.

Children love it, it&#39;s a must for families with kids! I saw British schools also organize students to play there. Overall, it&#39;s more worthwhile than the Whisky Museum and the Peter Rabbit Museum. The first two are actually worth going to the shopping malls to buy something, and the doors of the shopping malls are open to passers-by.

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

After we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, we had a big meal at a Michelin one-star restaurant, and then we began to get to know the city. First we came to Victoria Square, where a building imitating a Greek temple caught our eye. It turned out to be their town hall. Next to it was a beautiful Baroque building, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, which was also free to visit. So we went in for a stroll. There were not many people, and the exhibits were quite rich, ranging from ancient Egypt to current art.

There are Chinese Super League, restaurants, and many other specialty restaurants to choose from.
It&#39;s not hard to find something to eat here.
However, the food at this restaurant was a bit disappointing.
