The SRJC Forensics Speech, Debate, and Performance Team holds their meetings every Tuesday from 3-5pm at Garcia Hall 100, located at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, CA. This team provides an excellent opportunity for both students and community members to enhance their communication skills. With a century-long history of fostering new speakers and guiding experienced competitors to state and national championships, SRJC has established itself as a reputable institution in this field. Students on the team have the chance to compete in intercollegiate tournaments at local, state, and national levels, allowing them to gain valuable experience and connections. Joining the SRJC squad not only offers the chance to grow and refine communication and performance skills, but also enables individuals to advocate for important causes, explore new ideas, and expand their worldview. Additionally, being part of this team allows participants to accumulate transferable and repeatable units (Comm 52A or B), enhancing their resumes for future career opportunities, transferring to other institutions, or pursuing graduate studies.
