The Epsilon Iota Foundation is proud to present the 39th Annual Ronald McNair Challenger Open Golf Tournament, taking place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the prestigious ShadowGlen Golf Club in Manor. This tournament is held in honor of Dr. Ronald McNair, a remarkable NASA astronaut and member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, who tragically lost his life in the Challenger Space Shuttle explosion in 1986. Dr. McNair embodied the core values of the fraternity, including Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.

The tournament serves as a fundraiser for the Epsilon Iota Foundation, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The proceeds from this event will support scholarship grants for local students entering college as freshmen, awarded by the Epsilon Iota Chapter. The registration fee for the tournament is $150.00 per golfer and includes green fee, cart, range balls, golfer gifts, breakfast snack, on-course snacks, prizes, and lunch.

In addition to player registrations, the Epsilon Iota Foundation is also seeking sponsorships for the event. There are four sponsorship levels available: Platinum ($2,500), Gold ($1,000), Silver ($500), and Bronze ($250). Each level offers unique benefits and recognition, such as signage on the course, photo opportunities with chapter leadership and scholarship recipients, and logo placement on the foundation's website.
