The 2025 event will showcase a stellar lineup of artists: Mark Redmond, PipesAiden Connelly, FiddlePatrick Ourceau, FiddleCara Butler, dancePat O'Gorman, fluteLoretto Reid, concertina and whistleBrian Taheny, stringsThe Chris Langan Weekend, which began as a gathering to commorate piper Chris Langan, has been going strong for over 30 years. Chris was an impressive mentor, teacher, craftsman, and advocate of the Irish arts in Toronto and Ireland. 2025 WEEKEND SCHEDULE Friday May 2nd Tranzac Club, 292 Brunswick Ave 7:30-10:30: Welcome Evening and Concert (this year's opening concert will be a tribute to the life and music of Ena O'Brien) Open sessions throughout the Tranzac until late Saturday May 3rd Tranzac Club (plus nearby locations for some workshops, TBD) 10:00-2:30: Workshops 3:00-5:00: Young Musicians's Open Session (for children and teens) 7:00-10:00: Gala Concert Open sessions throughout the Tranzac till late Sunday May 4th Noonan's Pub, 141 Danforth Ave 11:30-3:00- Piper's Chair (open mic)- FREE!
