The Farewell, a heartwarming and sincere comedy drama inspired by a true story, will kick off Movies With Spirit's 18th annual season. The event will take place at Rondout Valley United Methodist in Stone Ridge, NY on October 15, 2023. Attendees will be treated to free ice cream from Stewart's Shops. Critics are raving about the film, with Peter Travers from Rolling Stone describing it as "extraordinary on every level." Empire Magazine's Nick De Semlyen calls it "incredibly charming," and James Berardinelli from ReelViews praises it as "life-affirming." The Seattle Times' Moira MacDonald adds that the film "breaks your heart, and leaves you happy." The story follows the journey of Billi, played by Awkwafina, as she returns to her hometown in China to join her family for a reunion with her terminally ill grandmother, Nai Nai. The family has decided to keep Nai Nai's diagnosis a secret to ensure her happiness. As Billi navigates the complexities of family dynamics and cultural traditions, she rediscovers her love for her grandmother and the ties that bind them. The Farewell has received numerous awards and accolades, including Best Feature at the Independent Spirit Awards. The film runs for 1 hour and 40 minutes and is rated PG. After the screening, there will be a facilitated discussion. Refreshments, including Stewart's ice cream, will be served. Attendees over the age of 12 are requested to contribute $10 per person. Movies With Spirit screenings follow all health and safety protocols. I got a 3 in 1 ticket for Chihuly Museum + Space Needle + Xmas market that was a great deal.  space needle has been renovated and has a glass floors that you can look down. Not for people who are afraid of heights . it was very cold out on the outside circle, but the view was very good. Make sure to check the weather on the online WebCam.

It is divided into two exhibition areas, indoor and outdoor, and mainly displays Boeing products: from transport aircraft, fighter jets to passenger aircraft. There is also a wax figure of Premier Zhou and Nixon shaking hands, with the background being the Air Force One that Nixon took during his first visit to China in 1972.
