The Impressionist Revolution: From Monet to Matisse of the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) explores the fascinating history of Impressionism, from its birth in 1874 to the legacy it achieved in the early years of the 20th century. Counted entirely through the exceptional collections of the DMA, this exhibition reveals the rebellious origins of the collective of independent artists known as the Impressionists - and the revolution they created in modern art.
Breaking with tradition both in the techniques used and in the subjects they painted, as well as in the ways in which their works exhibited, the Impressionists redefined what was considered to be avant-garde contemporary art. The movement's unique innovations of central figures, such as Claude Monet, Edgar Degas and Berthe Morisot, laid the groundwork for those answered by avant-garde artists of later generations, from Paul Gauguin and Vincent van Gogh to Piet Mondrian and Henri Matisse.

I don&#39;t recommend you spend 80 pesos to buy a ticket like we did. There is only one big exhibition hall, which is very deceptive. The rest is closed. It only took ten minutes to visit.
If you really want to come on Sunday, you can just come and see the free one.

I have visited the National Museum of Anthropology in CDMX 3 times and each time I learn something new. There are of course the must-sees like the Sun Stone but the collections of art, artifacts, maps and more is truly amazing. 10/10 You should visit on next trip to Mexico City!

Frida Kahlo Museum

The colorful and beautiful house is full of history of two of Mexico&#39;s best artists: Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. You can see many paintings and objects from both artists and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of their large courtyard. You have to pay extra to take pictures and for the audio tour in a different language, but it&#39;s worth it!

The Great Temple is located next to the central square. It is a super convenient attraction. The original temple has been destroyed by Spanish colonists. Only the tower base and stone steps remain, but the architecture of that time is still amazing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The castle is an amazing place to remember some history from the time when Maximiliano de Hasburgo and his wife arrived to mexico to the actual moment. Also all the Mexican context and the nationalism that in primary we get as Mexican. is beautiful to remember. I saw that the Folklore Ballet of Amalia Hernandez have some performances there, I love that company. it&rsquo;s a pitty that next day I had to go from CDMX and we already have plan for that evening. if you have time get the tickets ☺️

Mexico City&#39;s Constitution Square is the center of the city. It is said that the very simple buildings around the square are where the president&#39;s office is located. As long as you register, you can enter the building for a visit. There is also a magnificent church with amazing interior decoration.
