This year, we've given our flagship fundraiser a new name, and it's more magical than ever. Enjoy all the best elements of The Kirkwood Memory Walk, now with a touch of starlight. Walk under the night sky, remembering loved ones, and creating new memories with friends and family.
Join us Saturday 5th July 2025! This year’s event, kindly supported by Syngenta, is set to be bigger and better than ever, with amazing entertainment and loads of activities for the family to enjoy as the clock ticks down to 10pm!
Create new memories with friends and family as you walk 3, (brand new for this year) 6 or 10 miles to raise money for patients and families right here in Kirklees.
What’s getting you excited for this year’s walk? The anticipation of the crowd as the clock ticks toward 10pm, the chance to make new memories with loved ones or the intimate moments spent remembering someone special together?
Whatever your reason for taking part, you’ll be joining hundreds of others for a starlight walk like no other. And you’ll be doing something amazing in aid of a local charity which helps thousands of people every single year.
Our friendly team of fundraisers are on hand to support you along the way. So, if you ever have any questions about the walk or your fundraising, it’s really easy to get in touch.
Why your support matters
The Kirkwood Support Life for anyone living with a life limiting illness, helping to improve their quality of life in the ways that matter most. When time is short, we help everyone in our care to live well and make the most of every single day. And we support families and loves ones to live on – and live well.
We can only provide our care thanks to the amazing generosity of local people like you.
Your support makes it possible for our team to answer calls for help, 24 hours a day. It helps The Kirkwood Nurses to deliver vital specialist support and advice for people in their own homes. And it makes sure patients on our In-Patient Unit receive the very best care – so they can focus on making special memories with those they love.
Every pound you raise will help families in your local community to access the care they need, when and where they need it, every step of the way.
We ask that, where possible, you cover the cost of u postiing your walk pack out to you. This is charged at £3 per group.
