Experience the art of life drawing at The Useful Art Class - Life Drawing Class. This welcoming workshop, held in the sanctuary of the Artist Studios at the Custard Factory in Birmingham, offers a unique opportunity to learn from a knowledgeable practising artist and an experienced life model. Whether you are a newly inspired beginner or a professional artist looking to improve your skills, this workshop is perfect for artists of all levels. 

During the workshop, you will have the chance to experiment, gain confidence, and be inspired to successfully draw from life. The exercises will start with quick sketching and progress into longer timed drawings, allowing you to become familiar with working from life and the process of observational drawing. 

No need to bring anything but your willingness to learn! All materials, including paper, pencils, charcoal, pastels, and an easel, will be provided for you. The workshop will also include refreshments to keep you energized and focused throughout the day. 

Your tutors for the workshop are Stephen Earl Rogers and Lucy Fiona Morrison. Stephen Earl Rogers is known for his striking, contemporary portraits and paintings, while Lucy Fiona Morrison captures the essence of the land through her gestural oil paintings. Both artists have exhibited their work internationally and are experienced in teaching and inspiring others.

The Useful Art Class - Life Drawing Class will take place on January 10, 2024, at Studio 422C Custard Factory in Birmingham. Tickets are priced at £11.25 - £15. Children love it, it&#39;s a must for families with kids! I saw British schools also organize students to play there. Overall, it&#39;s more worthwhile than the Whisky Museum and the Peter Rabbit Museum. The first two are actually worth going to the shopping malls to buy something, and the doors of the shopping malls are open to passers-by.

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

After we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, we had a big meal at a Michelin one-star restaurant, and then we began to get to know the city. First we came to Victoria Square, where a building imitating a Greek temple caught our eye. It turned out to be their town hall. Next to it was a beautiful Baroque building, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, which was also free to visit. So we went in for a stroll. There were not many people, and the exhibits were quite rich, ranging from ancient Egypt to current art.

There are Chinese Super League, restaurants, and many other specialty restaurants to choose from. It is not difficult to find what you want to eat here. But this time I chose this restaurant, the food was a bit disappointing.
