Baralaye's captivating work delves into the realm of cultural translations in clay, exploring the diverse dimensions of objects, text, and symbols through a diaspora lens. His artistic expression encompasses spiritual and material translations, expertly combining craft and design aesthetics. 

With a background in ceramics from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Baralaye's talent has been showcased both nationally and internationally. His thought-provoking pieces have graced esteemed galleries such as Friedman Benda Gallery in New York, David Klein Gallery in Detroit, Shoshana Wayne Gallery in Los Angeles, the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco, and the Korea Ceramic Foundation in Icheon.

This special event, titled "The Vessel as a Metaphor: An Artist Talk by Ebitenyefa Baralaye," is presented in collaboration with Stamps Gallery, UMMA, and AADL. It is held in conjunction with the compelling exhibition "Hear Me Now: The Black Potters of Old Edgefield, South Carolina," currently on display at UMMA from August 26, 2023, to January 7, 2024. Anna Villa is located on the southwest side of Qufu Road and Zhejiang intersection in Shinan District, Qingdao. It was built in 1901 and built in 1903. It is a typical baroque building. The builder and first owner was German businessman Robert Capule, a brick-and-mortar producer who named the new home &quot;Anna Villa&quot; in honor of the love girl.[1] In March 2014, after the overhaul, the villa opened to the world with a new image of the bookstore.
