Tour a Clipper Race 70-foot ocean racing yacht - Clipper Ventures Training Office Come and take a look around the Clipper 70s; stripped down ocean racing yachts departing this summer for another 40,000nm race around the world. Get access above and below deck. Take the helm and imagine yourself at a 40 degree angle mid-ocean thousands of miles from land. Above deck try your hand on one of the eleven winches capable of lifting the sails up the 29m  mast. Go below to check out the nav station, galley, bunks, stowage where each of the 20 Race Crew live when not on deck. Meet one of the Crew Recruitment Team who have all taken part in the race themselves. Ask questions about their time on board or about the recruitment process and anything inbetween. Free entry, pre-registration required **Note** The yachts will remain stationary for the duration of the tours.One of our Crew Recruitment Team will be in contact with you the day before the event. How to find us: Please use PO12 1AH - The entrance to Gosport Marina is on the left signposted Premier Marina. Or take the train to Portsmouth Harbour where you can get the Gosport Ferry across. The service runs every 15 minutes between Portsmouth & Gosport. (£5.10 return). As you get off the ferry you will need to turn right and then follow the Millennium Walk, which leads to the marina’s front gates signed Premier Marina. Please follow signs for Marina Reception, the Clipper Training office is situated inside the Premier Marina Office.
