True Colours is returning to The Rainbow Tearooms in Chester this October, showcasing a captivating visual art project that celebrates and represents the LGBTQ+ community. This exciting event, True Colours at Rainbow Tearooms, invites individuals to participate in a range of creative workshops that explore personal journeys through painting, printing, and sculpture.

Supported by The National Lottery and Cheshire West and Chester Council, True Colours offers free creative sessions aimed at promoting positive mental health and well-being within the LGBTQ+ community. These beginner-friendly workshops also provide access to one-to-one art therapy, both online and in-person, ensuring that creativity remains free and accessible for all.

Under the guidance of talented artists Rae and Alex, participants can learn new techniques in clay sculpture, mixed media, and printmaking. The ultimate goal is to showcase the incredible artwork produced during the workshops in exhibitions and celebratory events throughout Cheshire West, creating a platform for the LGBTQ+ residents of the region to share their creative stories.

Taking place at the Rainbow Tea Rooms on 28 Bridge Street, Chester, True Colours at Rainbow Tearooms is an opportunity to not only engage in artistic expression but also meet like-minded individuals within a safe and welcoming environment.
