The Fox US Open of Mountain Biking is coming back to Killington on September 21-24, 2023. This exciting event will showcase a variety of thrilling races, including enduro, downhill, next gen, and adaptive racing. In addition to the races, there will also be a best whip competition to keep spectators entertained.

Volunteers are an integral part of making this event a success. If you're interested in getting involved, there are various shifts available throughout the weekend. On Thursday, September 21, there will be a need for downhill course marshals from 11:00am to 4:30pm. On Friday, September 22, there will be morning and afternoon shifts for downhill and dual slalom course marshals. Saturday, September 23 will require enduro and downhill course marshals, and Sunday, September 24 will need volunteers for the Next Gen Youth & Adaptive Downhill race.

As a course marshal, your responsibilities will include ensuring rider safety and controlling traffic along the race course. Some hiking may be required, so be prepared for that. Before volunteering, you will need to fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form, which can be found on the event's website.

In exchange for your time and dedication, volunteers will receive a Killington lift ticket for each shift worked. These lift tickets are valid for one year from the original earned date, giving you plenty of time to enjoy them.
