Welcome to the Waltham Forest Post Cancer Wellbeing Walk and talk group, a guided group for adults who have completed cancer treatment in Waltham Forest. Our Life after Cancer meet-ups aim to boost physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing, while reducing isolation. By providing support, we help members avoid serious mental distress and build a positive post-cancer life. If you're looking to get active and connect with others who have finished cancer treatment in Waltham Forest, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Join our gentle wellbeing walk and talk group at the stunning Walthamstow Wetlands. This group offers low-impact exercise and a safe space for individuals to walk and talk without judgment. You can enjoy getting active at your own pace while meeting other adults who have also completed cancer treatment. Our free and friendly wellbeing walks aim to reduce social isolation, improve mental wellbeing, and boost confidence in maintaining an active lifestyle through regular walking. The sessions take place once a month at 10:00am in Walthamstow Wetlands. Don't miss out! Limited spaces are available, so pre-booking is essential. Remember, your donations are crucial for the sustainability of our not-for-profit service. If possible, select a ticket option that includes a donation. The event is made possible thanks to funding from Local Giving Magic Little Grants. Join us at the meeting point under the bridge, in front of the Engine House Cafe at Walthamstow Wetlands. Plan your journey in advance, as the venue offers paid parking and limited free disabled spaces. The meeting point is a short walk from Tottenham Hale and Blackhorse Road stations (Victoria line) and can be reached by buses 123 and 230. Dress appropriately for the weather and ensure you have comfortable footwear for the gentle walk around the reserve. Remember to bring water and any necessary walking aids. Toilet facilities and a cafe are available. Please note that some parts of the walk are unshaded and can be warm in the summer. Safety is our priority, so please listen carefully to the briefing at the start of each walk. Follow the instructions to ensure your safety and the safety of others. After watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, we arrived at Westminster Abbey. There were a lot of people in the queue, about an hour and a half before entering the church. There is a interpreter at the door, you can choose Chinese. Follow the team and the interpreter is also explained. My favorite is the Matisse-style painting window. The staff in the church is very high quality and the temperament is very good, which is awe-inspiring.
