Watercolor is often considered one of the most challenging mediums, but with the right techniques and tricks, you can overcome any mistakes and achieve the desired results.

In this step-by-step class, you will receive demonstrations for each section of the painting, allowing you to follow along and learn at your own pace. The class will provide photos for reference, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Throughout the class, you will receive personalized guidance to help you enhance your skills.

Please note that the listed prices are per class, and supplies are not included. However, you can purchase the necessary supplies for $15 directly from the instructor. It is recommended to bring watercolor paper of either 140# or 300# cold press sheets or blocks, preferably Arches brand. Quality brushes in sizes #6, #10, and #14 are essential, along with inexpensive brushes for mixing and other purposes. A divided plastic palette or a paper plate with partitions will be needed for mixing colors, and small Tupperware containers can be handy for larger color batches. A board, such as the incredible art board or gatorboard, is required to attach your paper, and water jars, paper towels, masking tape, pencils, erasers, brush holders, and a spray bottle for water are also necessary. Additionally, you will need masking fluid (liquid frisket) and specific watercolor paints from reputable brands like Winsor & Newton, Holbein, Da Vinci, QoR, MaimeriBlu, Schmincke, or Daniel Smith.
