Join the upcoming workshop "What's In The Box? A two-day box making workshop" on October 11 and October 12 at Del Ray Artisans in Alexandria, VA. Led by instructor Cristin Guinan-Wiley, this novice level workshop will teach participants how to create their own hinged lid box using book board, book cloth, decorative papers, and PVA (archival glue). With a wide range of paper and cloth options available, participants can personalize their box to make it truly unique. The supply fee covers all materials needed to complete the box, and tools will be provided during the workshop. Additionally, participants have the option to purchase the tools for $30 directly from the instructor. The workshop will take place from 6 to 9pm and is held in conjunction with the Curses! Foiled Again! The art of swords and sorcery art exhibit. Please note that face masks are recommended inside the gallery. Registration must be completed by midnight on October 8. The refund policy states that if a workshop is cancelled due to not reaching the minimum number of students, a full refund will be provided. If a participant withdraws from the workshop 72 hours or more in advance, the Workshop Fee and any Supply Fee will be refunded, minus a 15% processing fee.
