The renowned Poetry Slam event, Y not Slam?!, is back in Schöneberg, Berlin. Hosted at the welcoming Y not Café every 3rd Saturday of the month, this event promises an exhilarating evening of captivating Spoken Word performances. With a new team at the helm, Kira Müller and Birdy will be your expert moderators for the evening. Prepare to be enthralled by brilliant poets battling it out on stage, each given 5 minutes to impress the audience. The doors open at 7:30 PM, with the event commencing at 8:00 PM. The Museum island is impressive, with amazing buildings hosting exhibitions of all kind. I was able to visit the Neues Museum and it was worth the visit, even walking in the morning, afternoon or night is a great experience. a lot of history!!

Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) is a famous Protestant church in Berlin, the capital of Germany. It is located on the Museum Island in the center of the city, next to the Spree River. This magnificent church is not only the religious center of Berlin, but also an important landmark and tourist attraction of the city.
⛪️The history of Berlin Cathedral dates back to the 15th century, when there was a smaller church on the same site. The existing cathedral was built from 1894 to 1905 under the order of German Emperor Wilhelm II to serve as the court church of the Hohenzollern family. The original church was demolished at the end of the 19th century to make way for a new and more magnificent church.
⛪️Berlin Cathedral adopts Renaissance and Baroque styles and was designed by architect Julius Raschdorff. Its gorgeous appearance and exquisite interior decoration reflect the characteristics of neo-Baroque architecture. The church is 98 meters high, and its green dome is an important part of the Berlin skyline.
⛪️During World War II, the Berlin Cathedral was severely damaged, especially an air raid in 1944 that caused part of the church&#39;s dome to collapse. After the war, the restoration of the church lasted for decades and was finally completed in 1993.
⛪️The interior of the church is richly decorated with many exquisite sculptures, paintings and mosaics. The altarpiece and the pulpit on the central altar are particularly eye-catching.
⛪️The Berlin Cathedral has an organ built by Wilhelm Sauer, which is one of the largest and most important historical organs in the world.
Visitors can climb 270 steps to the observation deck on the church&#39;s dome, from which they can overlook the magnificent view of the center of Berlin.

Brandenburg Gate in Germany, due to its special status in Berlin and even Germany, has become the venue for many celebrations in Germany. On December 31st every year, an open-air New Year&#39;s Eve party is held here. At that time, the square and the street are crowded with people, and grand live performances are held on the stage to add to the fun. People welcome the arrival of the new year together with the fireworks tour at midnight.

nice city, very crowded sometimes with so much history to know and explore, I visited with my friend and we walked to much but also the transport is easy to take

Visited the Berlin zoo just to see the twin baby pandas! They were so cute, one of the twins didn&#39;t make a long appearance but the other baby panda was always visible whilst I was there - either sleeping in full view or trying to climb one of the poles. Their mother was enjoying the bamboo. The queues for the ice cream/drinks were really long so didn&#39;t buy but I did visit on a Saturday lunchtime so I&#39;m not surprised it was busy.
