Join the Young Art Writers Workshop with Lily Cahill at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios in Dublin. This two-part art writing workshop is led by writer and facilitator Lily Cahill in response to the exhibition 'Tugann an Torann' by Anne Ryan. The workshop will take place on Tuesday 19th and 26th February from 6pm to 7.30pm. This workshop is designed for individuals aged 18 to 25 who have an interest in art and writing or would like to explore this area. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and experiment with writing in relation to Anne Ryan's exhibition. Spaces for this workshop are limited, so participants are expected to attend both sessions. 

Young Art Writers is an ongoing workshop series at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios that explores different aspects of writing in relation to visual art. Led by writers, artists, and curators, these workshops provide a shared learning and explorative approach to writing. No experience is necessary and all levels of writing ability are welcome. 

Anne Ryan's exhibition, 'Tugann an Torann', responds to the city nightlife in Temple Bar. Her paintings express the push and pull within the historic industrial area and cultural quarter, transforming it into a raucous tourist hotspot after dark. Motifs and iconography from various art forms collide in dreamlike chaos, reflecting Ryan's experiences as an Irish emigrant in London. 

This workshop is a unique opportunity to engage with Anne Ryan's artwork and explore the intersection of art and writing. Don't miss out on this chance to develop your writing skills in relation to visual art. The event is free to attend, but spaces are limited, so make sure to secure your spot.

Dublin Castle has a long royal history and the attractions are worth visiting. The ticket price is only 8 euros (6 euros for those over 60 years old). However, the ticket price on Ctrip for those over 60 years old is 160 yuan, which is 3 times the price on site. It is too expensive!!! It has affected my high trust and good impression of Ctrip!!!

St Patrick's Cathedral

St. Patrick&#39;s Cathedral is Ireland&#39;s largest Catholic church. St. Patrick&#39;s Cathedral is exquisite and grand, more than 300 years ago, the author of Gulliver&#39;s Travels, Jonathan Westft, was bishop of the church and his remains were buried under it. The church has a Chinese guide to get a detailed understanding of the church&#39;s details, its construction and restoration history, as well as the characters and stories associated with it. After visiting St Patrick&#39;s Cathedral, you can spend a short time in St Patrick&#39;s Park at the back of the church. This park is very small, with a small market, stalls selling art, handicrafts and cosmetics. It is recommended to book tickets in advance.

Be warned, to walk all the way through takes about an hour and there are no busses that stop in the park- they only drive through and stop either side, but the park itself is beautiful and easy to spend that much time wandering in, the deer are usually in the upper end of the park after the cricket field, there are a few food carts dotted around and also Dublin zoo located in the park
