Join Bike East Bay's certified instructors for a day of engaging activities, safety drills, and skills building at the Youth Bike Rodeo held at Weekes Community Center Park in Hayward. This event, aimed at children aged 5 to 12, offers a comprehensive workshop focused on enhancing bike safety. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will learn essential skills such as helmet fitting, riding in a straight line, stopping at intersections, and conducting an ABC quick check (air, brakes, chain, and quick check). The workshops, lasting between 30 to 45 minutes, provide an opportunity for children to develop their biking abilities while having fun. Cleary Bikes kindly provides bikes and helmets, but participants are welcome to bring their own. To ensure optimal safety, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
