Denpasar, the capital of Bali is also the main gateway to the beautiful island. The name is taken from two Balinese words- “den” and “Pasar” which means north and market. Denpasar was originally a market town. The name of the city also refers to that. In fact, it is the best place for shopping in Bali due to its lively markets, trendy boutiques and several departmental; stores. It is also a popular place for shopping as the prices are very reasonable. The city streets are lined with specialized shops selling a certain commodity.
