Flight from Manila to Davao

Davao City is located on Mindanao Island in the south of the Philippines, near Mount Apo which is the country’s highest peak. The city is home to Durian Dome, which is named after the famous South East Asian fruit that grows in abundance in Mindanao. Getting There

Davao is served by Francisco Bangoy International Airport, also commonly called Davao International airport which is just 10 km away from the city centre and can easily be reached by taxi or jeepney. Make your way up the mountain and get a scenic view of the city while enjoying a delicious Filipino meal at Jack’s Ridge. If you plan to stay the night, there are cottages, a pool and beautiful views for sunrise. 

Eden Nature Park is a huge mountain resort which is located an hour away from the city centre which has many activities for everyone to enjoy like sky cycling, sky swing, horseback riding and a trek through the forest. 

Plan a day trip to Kopiat Island off the Davao coast, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and beautiful nature. You can go with a tour group and reach within half an hour via a speedboat. The tours include a visit to the Lubi plantation, great food, coffee and dessert and a fun time at the beach. 

Climb Mount Apo, one of South East Asia’s highest mountains, situated right in Davao. At the top, there is a 500-metre-wide crater lake created by volcanic activity and a 150-metre-tall Tudaya Falls waterfall.

After a day full of sightseeing, stop by the Roxas Avenue Night Market for some freshly cooked Filipino food.
