Jewel Changi Airport is a multi-purpose complex featuring the 40m HSBC Rain Vortex. It provides 24-hour access, retail, dining, and transit connections to Singapore Changi Airport terminals.
Overview of Jewel Changi Airport

Jewel Changi Airport is one of Singapore's most iconic destinations and consistently ranks among the world's best airport attractions. Located adjacent to Changi Airport Terminal 1 and connected to Terminals 2 and 3 via pedestrian link bridges, Jewel is far more than an airport mall — it is a multi-purpose lifestyle complex blending nature, retail, dining, and entertainment under one spectacular glass dome.
Designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, Jewel spans approximately 135,700 square meters across 10 levels — five above ground (L1–L5) and five basement levels (B1–B5). At its heart stands the HSBC Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall at 40 meters, surrounded by the lush Shiseido Forest Valley with over 2,000 trees and palms.
Jewel is open 24 hours for general access, though most shops, restaurants, and attractions operate standard mall hours (typically 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM). Most areas of Jewel are free to enter, with the only major paid attraction being Canopy Park on Level 5.

The exhibition features breathtaking floral displays crafted from over 800,000 LEGO bricks, artfully arranged around the iconic 40-meter HSBC Rain Vortex for stunning photo opportunities. Visitors can participate in an interactive stamp rally across Jewel and redeem exclusive free gifts upon completion — gifts are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.
Tickets for paid attractions can be combined with a 5% general discount coupon. Paired with the magnificent Rain Vortex landmark, this family-friendly exhibition is a top choice for a convenient photo stop while traveling in or out of the country, suitable for all ages.

- Terminal 3: 5–10 minute walk via the link bridge from the Departure Hall on Level 2 (near Row 11, by the Crowne Plaza entrance).
- Terminal 4: No direct walkway. Take the complimentary airport shuttle bus to Terminal 1, then walk into Jewel. The direct T4–Jewel shuttle operates daily 6:00 AM – 12:00 AM; a loop service (T4 → T3 → T1) runs 1:00 AM – 6:00 AM.
Important for transit passengers: To visit Jewel, you must clear immigration and enter Singapore. Ensure you have sufficient time to clear immigration, explore Jewel, return to your departure terminal, complete security, and reach your gate before boarding.

First time visit to Singapore. Lovely hotel. Great location, bonus of an outdoor pool that we used early one morning. Rooms very clean, beds super comfy. Immaculately clean. All staff super friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. Concierge’s always available to sort taxis and help too. Didn’t book breakfast as do many food options close by. Nice touch was at check in they brought out birthday muffins, not just for me but for my two teenagers too. Great introduction. What’s not to love? Will be back.FromUS$206

I'm incredibly grateful for the service provided by Hotel Manager Ben. On our check-in day, he learned it was my husband's birthday and generously upgraded us to a suite for free, along with complimentary breakfast and a birthday cake. It was such a wonderful surprise, making for an unforgettable night.
The location of Carlton Hotel is excellent, directly opposite Raffles City shopping mall and Chijmes. Everything is within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants and options for a drink or two in the evening. So convenient!FromUS$227

Marina Bay Singapore|1.34km from city center
Regarding the facilities, I was quite dissatisfied with the bathroom. The toilet faces the shower door, so every time I showered, the toilet blocked my exit, requiring me to turn sideways to get out. Because the toilet paper holder is also right next to the toilet, near the sink, I had to be very careful not to bump into it when exiting.
Several nights we ended up bumping into that holder while turning, and even though it wasn't sharp, we still got bruises.
I reported this to housekeeping, and they told me to contact their duty manager at 76102. I called, but no one answered. I left a message but received no response. I then spoke to the front desk, and they said they'd call me back in half an hour, but I waited all day and never heard from them.
Finally, when I checked out, I asked them about it, and they pretended not to know anything.FromUS$206

Formerly the G hotel, the location is pretty good. However, the room is quite small. There's no separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, no slippers, no mini-fridge, and no bottled water. The breakfast is a buffet, but the selection is rather limited. I've also stayed at Ibis, Mercure, and Hotel G. on Bugis. Ibis has the best breakfast and is more comfortable. When I stayed at Mercure years ago, there were always two cans of beer in the fridge every day. The biggest advantage of Hotel G. is its proximity to the MRT.FromUS$166

The room was spacious, and the staff cleaned it thoroughly every day. Free cold water was available in the hallway, and the hot water supply was excellent. Compared to other hotels, it offered great value for money. Public transport, including buses and the MRT, was accessible right outside. Within about 300 meters, you could find Ya Kun Kaya Toast and Toast Box. It's also conveniently located next to SMU, with a church nearby, and the overall environment is very pleasant.FromUS$173

The room layout is smart and modern, and it's very clean. The service was excellent – the staff were enthusiastic and helpful, even though they didn't speak Chinese, English communication was perfectly fine. The hotel is great. The elevators are quite large and fast, so you never have to wait long. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly and promptly. The bed in the room is big and has just the right firmness. There's plenty of space in the room, easily enough for 6-7 large suitcases. Within about a 10-minute walk, you can reach a large shopping mall, or a 5-minute walk will get you to a food court where you can grab breakfast. The hotel is very close to both bus and metro stations, and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center, making its location very convenient. The front desk service is also excellent. Orchard Road Singapore|2.1km from city center
The loft room was perfect for a family of three with an older child! Loft 2 had a sofa bed on the second floor, which was a bit short – my 160cm tall feet just reached the edge. The swivel chair was also on the second floor, so on the first floor, you could only sit on the bed. However, the floor space was huge! We could fully open a 28-inch and a 20-inch suitcase without obstructing movement, which is incredibly practical in space-constrained Singapore! The loft was far from the elevator, so it was very quiet, and the air conditioning didn't blow directly on us. The bathroom water temperature was stable, and they provided conditioner and hand soap. The room amenities were also excellent, with a power outlet and a USB port on both the first floor and the loft that could directly accommodate Chinese plugs. The desk lamp in the loft even had a phone back-charging function – so convenient! There was a mini-fridge with free drinks and snacks replenished daily, and complimentary ice cream in the lobby from 3-6 PM. The front desk service was prompt, and there were Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk and in the restaurant during the day.
The hotel's location is superb! It's only about a 300-meter walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station, which is an interchange for three lines, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the attractions! In particular, Fort Canning Tree Tunnel is just a 10-minute walk away, so you can go early to avoid crowds and take photos at your leisure. Exit F of the MRT station leads to a large shopping mall with POPMART, Daiso, anime stores, many restaurants, and a local affordable supermarket, making dining and shopping very convenient. Sentosa Island Singapore|4.92km from city center
The hotel's environment is truly exceptional. Check-in is on the 8th floor, and the ground floor provides direct access to the restaurant and the beach. Right outside, there's a beach tram shuttle service that takes you to Beach Station MRT in just two stops, or about a 5-10 minute walk. During our stay, there was a beachside barbecue market starting at 2 PM every afternoon, which was when the shuttle service stopped.
We stayed on the 5th floor, and the swimming pool was right outside our door. The kids absolutely loved it! There were also swings and a seesaw, and we even spotted a hammock while walking around.
However, I can't help but mention the ants. There were always tiny ants on the bedsheets, which might be due to the area being so close to nature.FromUS$185

Right next to Wild Wild Wet, my kids, who weren't very enthusiastic at first, became super excited once they saw the facilities. Being able to get to the ocean quickly and encountering wildlife we don't usually see was also a plus. We had trouble because there was no tissue or drinking water (though you can buy it at the shop), and while there's nothing that can be done about it, I was surprised by how ants appeared out of nowhere. I don't think we left any ant-attracting food out, but perhaps something happened. Despite these minor issues, the location was excellent, and the room was clean. Always impressed with the overall experience at the Hotel Jen Tanglin. My top choice hotel in Singapore when I traveled to for business. Very nice Club King room and the Club Lounge is nice and decent though a bit small in space. Food offerings is good although can have more varieties as well.

Overall, it's an okay stay.
Pros: The room is spacious, much better than the previous one, probably about 10 square meters larger.
Location: It's within a 10-minute walk from the subway station, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs.
Cons: It's a bit old, just slightly better than a guesthouse.FromUS$209

The hotel's location is good, about an 8-10 minute walk from Bugis MRT station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Across from the hotel is a green space, which is actually an Islamic cemetery, so those who mind should consider carefully. The room was generally clean and tidy, but small, similar to budget hotels in China. There's a swimming pool on the 4th floor.FromUS$101

Lovely stay! first time here and it was an awesome 2 nights stay! I booked it for my Birthday Staycaytion and wanted to peaceful stay! Staff were super friendly and gave me a room upgrade!! ♥️ Nice and clean, uninterrupted room and restful!!! 10/10!! Amenities were great and sufficient. I also tried to keep the place neat and tidy before checking out so that the housekeeping staff wouldn’t be so tired and make their lives easier!
I wasn’t expecting the room upgrade (maybe cause it was my birthday) but thanks to staff Ariff that helped with the check-in! 😊 the room upgrade was really a bonus and helps a lot with the experience of my stay here - cause of the awesome view!!! 🥰♥️ It was amazing!! (for me at least) was unexpected but an amazing solo staycaytion experience here! nothing to pick on!

If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Singapore, V Hotel Bencoolen is a solid choice—especially for travelers who prioritize specific amenities and easy access to local facilities.
What I Loved:
Bidet Available in Room: Finding a room equipped with a bidet sprayer in Singapore can be a challenge, so having one in the bathroom was a massive plus for me. It added a high level of comfort and convenience that made the stay feel much more accommodating to my personal needs.
Prime Location near Mosques: The location is exceptionally convenient. It is situated within easy walking distance of local mosques (such as Bencoolen Mosque), making daily prayers and exploring the surrounding cultural sites entirely hassle-free.
What Could Be Improved:
Breakfast Selection: The only downside of my stay was the breakfast options. The buffet included pork bacon, which was a bit of a drawback for my dietary preferences. If you strictly require Halal-certified or pork-free dining, you might want to consider opting out of the hotel breakfast and exploring the numerous nearby Halal eateries instead.

THIS HOTEL IS CYLINDRICAL BECAUSE THEY'VE CUT EVERY CORNER!
I really wanted to like this hotel. The location is excellent and the pool and surrounding gardens are genuinely lovely. Unfortunately, what started out as a promising stay (from the photos) turned into one of the most unsettling hotel experiences I've ever had.
On my second night, at around 10pm, I encountered two men entering the rooftop pool on the 3rd floor. They asked me to hold the door open as I was returning to my room next door after a moonlit swim because they were laden with several carrier bags. I thought they were staff.
The following morning, around 8am, I returned for a sunrise swim and recognised the same two men. They appeared to have spent the night sleeping on the sun loungers. They were smoking and drinking - polishing off an entire bottle of whisky at around 10am. There was no staff presence and seemingly nobody had checked the pool area for approximately 12 hours.
I didn't feel safe swimming and reported what I had found to reception. Rather than feeling reassured, I was interrogated by reception staff and told there was no manager on duty. Their reaction was remarkably casual - they seemed fairly nonplussed, simply saying, ”We'll send someone up.”
What concerned me most is that the lifts are not guest-card activated, meaning anyone entering the bustling hotel lobby can gain access to all guest floors. My room was on the third floor, adjacent to the pool.
I later asked reception about the men. ”Oh yes, they're gone now.” No apparent apology, concern or urgency and still no manager available. When I left the following day, I specifically asked to speak to a manager and, once again, there was nobody on duty.
Unfortunately, lax security and two unidentified men bedding down for the night at the pool wasn't the only problem.
The thin mattress was so old and worn that the coiled springs were digging into my back, hips and elbows. The bedding was a scratchy brown blanket rather than a proper duvet. An enormous construction site next door started work at exactly 8am every day.
The pool itself has seen better days. The sun loungers were worn, tired, smelly and in need of replacement. Even the blue pool slide advertised by the hotel was bone dry and completely out of use.
There was no drinking water provided. When I asked for a bottle for the first night, I was told no. When I asked about a filtered water tap, I was told no - I could boil the kettle, drink the bathroom water or go to 7-Eleven. Their lackadaisical response was borderline laughable!
One final warning for non-smokers: cigarette smoke is a significant issue. The Level 2 corridors are thick with smoke which permeates the hotel. If you are sensitive to smoke, I recommend requesting Level 3 or above, which benefits from an open atrium allowing air to circulate. Smoking around the pool was also constant during my stay.
The Wi-Fi was patchy and there was absolutely no Wi-Fi around the pool.
The irony is that the hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool and an excellent location. I gave both 5/5 because they genuinely deserve it. But I gave the service 1/5 because the lack of security, staff presence and management response left me deeply uncomfortable as a solo traveller.
There wasn't a single corner of this hotel where I didn't feel like something had been cut back and, by the end, I couldn't help wondering whether I'd inadvertently booked myself into a budget youth hostel rather than a 3.5-star hotel, as advertised.
What makes this all such a shame is the hotel's potential. With its riverside views, excellent location, beautiful rooftop pool and gardens, this could be an exquisite venue with a complete refurbishment and, crucially, the right management team. The bones are there - it just desperately needs care, investment and proper management.
Beautiful location. Lovely pool. Enormous potential. Very uncomfortable stay.FromUS$113

Pretty good location where it’s within walking distance from Bugis MRT, Nicoll Highway MRT and Lavender MRT stations.
Near to hotspot cafes in Arab Street and Haji Lane, lots of cafes around for good coffee and food.
Hotel room itself was not too bad. Comfortable for one night/short stay. Though you can hear what is happening along the corridor despite having door closed and locked (people walking/running, talking/laughing… all can be heard clearly).
Door latch in room was not in working condition too.

The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The bed was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, ensuring a high-quality rest. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from Orchard Road MRT station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Sentosa is about a 20-minute drive away. The hotel cost over 900 RMB per night, but the room was incredibly small. My large suitcase took up so much floor space that I had to step over it. It felt more like a 200-300 RMB per night hotel in a first-tier Chinese city. However, the electric bed was a nice touch, and the soundproofing was excellent, which really surprised me.FromUS$139

I think we hit the jackpot with this hotel. Very thankful that we experienced all the positives for this hotel.
What we like:
Clean. No ants nor bugs. Bedding and pillows also clean and no weird smells.
Very welcoming and polite staff at check in. She helped to distract my kids with some check in entertainment when she saw that they kept asking for my attention while I was trying to check in. Staff at Native Kitchen also very helpful and polite. They still gave a small discount even though we ate there after we checked out. Staff are also fast and efficient when we requested for more pillows.
Pool area (4 pools) is super pretty and my son had a great time playing 2 ball games in the pool during their entertainment hours. The Aqua Zumba (I think - unsure of the name) was also good and the instructor made every second fun! My girl and I loved dancing in the water to his music and moves!
Both noons also we had some free snacks courtesy of Village, at the reception area. These made my kids giddy with joy.
We were not celebrating anything but we saw reception pass out birthday favours for those that are. This is a plus point for me. It shows they make an effort.
What we don’t like:
Pool walking area is dirty in the late noon but can’t be helped as it got very crowded and it’s quite hard to clean the floor up with so many people around. Also, not enough chairs. We reached about 9am and majority taken up. We went back in the noon and also no seats. Do go early if you want to grab seats for your things. The rainfall water feature at the lazy river is also very strong pressure and might border on being painful or scary if you have young kids or are sunburnt. Some mould at lazy river walls too. Not a fan, but not something that ticks my no list.
Overall- definitely definitely definitely recommended. Room is small but you won’t be inside most of the time with so much to do in Sentosa.FromUS$336

I used the luggage storage service on both my check-in and check-out days, and the bellhops were incredibly kind, leaving a great impression. On my check-out day, when I went to pick up my luggage after sightseeing, I got caught in a sudden downpour. The staff told me, 'If you still have time before your flight, please feel free to rest in the lobby until the rain stops. It usually clears up in about 30-40 minutes.' This allowed me to avoid moving around in the heavy rain. The room was spacious enough to open my suitcase, and the cleaning was very thorough. The only minor downsides were that the water purifier and showerhead hook seemed old and weren't fixed securely, so I had to be a bit careful when using them. However, the air conditioning, which I was initially worried about, was adjustable, and I had a comfortable two-night stay. The hotel is right next to a subway station, with a bus stop nearby, and a shopping center and Clarke Quay are within walking distance, which was very convenient.FromUS$176

Stayed for 1N for staycation - just wish to decompress from work and dont wanna travel out of the country. I choose this hotel on ourpose for the high floor option and the Marina Bay view. This was a truly fantastic staycation planned to celebrate my parents’ wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience for all of us. ❤️
From the moment we arrived, the entire service team — from the front desk and concierge to housekeeping and the F&B lounge team — was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and consistently attentive. Their genuine hospitality made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.
We were delighted to be given a beautiful room with the best Marina view. To make the occasion even more special, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary anniversary cake waiting in our room, along with complimentary drinks and amenities in the fridge as Club Lounge guests. These thoughtful touches truly made our celebration extra meaningful.
The hotel’s location is also extremely convenient, right in the downtown area. Marina Bay Sands is just a short 5-minute train ride away, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy the surrounding attractions.
The Club Lounge offered a wonderful international spread with a good variety of food and beverages. We particularly appreciated the diverse drinks selection, ranging from refreshing wellness drinks to signature cocktails, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A big thank you to the entire team as well as special shoutout to Ramyah and Steve (from Club Lounge) for the exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and wonderful experience. Aside from being a ten-minute walk to the MRT station, taking nearly an hour to get to Sentosa (walking plus MRT), and the AC blowing directly on my head, there aren't many downsides. The cleanliness was decent, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. My child mentioned seeing ants in the bathroom, but I'm nearsighted so I didn't spot them. There are many eateries nearby, including the famous frog porridge. In the mornings, you can even see several crates of large, vibrant green, lively frogs displayed outside their shop. I arrived well after midnight, completely exhausted after my trip. If you’re arriving at Terminal 3 late at night, I personally wouldn’t recommend this hotel because it isn’t the most convenient option after a long journey. However, if you’re arriving during the day or in the afternoon, I think it’s a good choice.
Unfortunately, I ran into a small issue in my room. The TV wouldn’t turn off because the remote control wasn’t working properly. One staff member initially seemed a little frustrated and focused on explaining the hotel’s procedures. At that moment, I was extremely tired, hot from Singapore’s humid weather, and honestly just wanted to get some sleep rather than discuss the situation.
In the end, the only solution was to unplug the TV from the power socket, which the staff helped me do. Once he realized that was the only way to turn it off, the situation quickly settled down.
Thankfully, after that, everything changed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I fell into a deep sleep almost immediately. The staff I met the following morning were also very kind, friendly, and helpful, which left me with a much better impression.
Overall, my stay had a rough start, but it ended on a positive note. If you’re arriving during the day, I think this hotel is a solid option. If you’re arriving at Terminal 3 in the middle of the night, though, you may want to consider a hotel that’s closer or easier to reach.eFromUS$169
