Fantastic location, truly the closest hotel to Deji Plaza, no doubt about it. This is my second time staying here. It's an older hotel, but the service is excellent. On the night I checked in, the AC was too hot, and I couldn't figure out the control panel. I called the front desk, and someone came right away to check it, helped turn off the AC, and apologized repeatedly. They even sent up a fruit platter. The next day when checking out, the front desk attendant asked again if I was comfortable after they turned off the AC and apologized once more. I had a very comfortable stay, and my two days in Nanjing enjoying the food, drinks, and entertainment were also great.

The quality of this long-standing five-star hotel remains excellent; it's a comfortable choice in a prime location on Hanzhong Road. I stayed in a Premier Twin Room in the Asia Pacific Tower at Jinling Hotel Nanjing during the tail end of the Chinese New Year holiday, and the experience was truly fantastic – I have to give it a good review! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is at 2 Hanzhong Road, right in the heart of Nanjing's central business district. Whether you're heading to Xinjiekou for shopping or visiting nearby attractions, transportation is a breeze. Taxis and subways are all very close by, which is a huge plus for me as I dislike wasting time on transit. I stayed in a Premier Twin Room in the Asia Pacific Tower this time. The room offered expansive views and excellent natural light. The two 1.35-meter double beds were neatly made, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The in-room facilities were also well-maintained, clean, and odorless, making me feel very much at ease. As a long-established five-star hotel, Jinling Hotel's service maintains a high standard. The front desk staff were warm and efficient with both check-in and check-out. Although my trip was quite rushed this time and I didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's pool or dining, the comfortable accommodation and convenient location alone made me feel it was excellent value for money. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Next time I'm in Nanjing and planning to stay in the city center, this will definitely be my first choice!

The room was spacious! Although the hotel has been open for many years, the facilities are still well-maintained, and the service is decent. You can access the Jinying Shopping Mall directly from the second floor. Perhaps due to the room's orientation, there wasn't much of a view.

If you're coming to Nanjing, I highly recommend the Nanjing Gudu Hotel. It's located right at Exit 3A of Wutaishan Station on Nanjing Metro Line 5. Even though it's an older, established hotel, it's incredibly well-maintained, and the lobby is very grand. We booked through Ctrip, and with their Global Pass service, we were upgraded to a room on the tenth floor. It offered a great view, directly overlooking Librairie Avant-Garde and the stadium. In the evening, the butler even brought us a complimentary dessert soup and thoughtfully gave us a bookmark (noticing I had a book), along with wet wipes. The handwritten label was a really warm touch, and the handwriting was beautiful – it really boosted my mood! They also extended my check-out time to 2 PM, which was perfect for relaxing after shopping. Every time we left the hotel, we could get hot water, and if we ordered takeout, their robot 'Nannan' delivered it to our room – so convenient! Overall, the hotel's service exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Nanjing. The only minor flaw is that the closest subway exit, 3A, doesn't have an escalator, nor does the exit across the street have a downward escalator. However, this isn't an issue with the hotel; it's a Nanjing subway station matter.

Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area/Jiming Temple Nanjing|3.04km from city center
For many old Nanjing residents, Shanxi Road and Hunan Road, along with Xiliuwan Park, hold a more special place in their hearts than Xinjiekou. Years ago, the large intersection at Shanxi Road was bustling with traffic and lively crowds. The Sofitel Galaxy is an established five-star hotel that has grown with Shanxi Road. It's been open for over a decade, yet it still stands the test of time. For this location, the value for money is truly exceptional. Plus, there's a hidden gem within the hotel. The hotel's breakfast buffet feels incredibly luxurious. Later, I was fortunate enough to experience an upgraded superior twin suite, and its French elegance truly endures! This time, I chose the deluxe executive king room I'd been wanting for a while. The floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides directly face Xuanwu Lake. Sitting on the distinctive Sofitel purple sofa, watching the clouds drift by ☁️ is incredibly relaxing. From the hotel room, watching the Jiangsu TV Tower and the city lights illuminating the Yangtze River at dusk is simply magical! The highlight has to be the Executive Lounge's happy hour. It honestly outshines all other free lounges in Nanjing. The hotel's service quality is excellent, with attentive front desk staff always ready to accommodate guests' needs and provide top-notch service. They even prepared a farewell gift! Why squeeze into crowds when you can enjoy Xuanwu Lake directly from your room? It's much better!

This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! 📍 It's right by a subway entrance and in the heart of the business district, just a 5-minute walk to popular shopping areas. Downstairs, you'll find a cluster of snack shops, bubble tea places, and convenience stores, so if you get hungry at night, you can just pop downstairs. The hotel breakfast is also quite good. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to the high-speed train station or airport, so you won't have to rush for your transport. For a downtown hotel, the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent; it's really quiet at night. It's a great choice for travelers!

Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area/Jiming Temple Nanjing|2.12km from city center
Towards the end of my holiday, I chose the tallest hotel in Nanjing. The hotel provided a room on the 67th floor with a view of Xuanwu Lake and Zijin Mountain. The most striking feature inside was the large circular bathtub. Before this, I had already traveled to Shanghai during my third year of junior high school, dealing with work all the way, and was quite tired. For dinner and breakfast, I opted to dine at the hotel. Dinner was at the Summit restaurant on the 76th-77th floors, mainly featuring Huaiyang and fusion cuisine. It wasn't as salty as typical Nanjing dishes, and the cold dish with scampi was a highlight. The restaurant's main hall faces south towards Xinjiekou. Breakfast was at the coffee bar on the 45th floor, available from 9 AM to 7 PM. You could access the observation deck with your room card, which offered views to the north: Zijin Mountain, Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Lake, and the TV tower. The duck blood vermicelli soup and baked flatbread were very Nanjing in the breakfast spread, and the rest was typical InterContinental – very rich and varied. My only minor gripe was that the fruit station didn't have the cucumber sticks and juice often found at the Shanghai InterContinental; I had to get a bowl of cucumber slices from the salad bar. I visited the independently operated heated pool and gym after dinner, but it was quite crowded due to Chinese New Year, so it wasn't particularly enjoyable. I then explored the mall next door, which was pretty much as described by Nanjing local media. The only new development is that Sunrise Duty Free is setting up shop on the first floor and is currently under renovation. In a nutshell, my review of the hotel is: Majestic and awe-inspiring! Facilities: Everything you could need. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A unique experience. Even with a strong gale outside at night, there was no howling sound once the ventilation windows were sealed. However, before 9 PM, you could hear outdoor loudspeakers from the nearby park or square, which was unavoidable – the entire city acts like a giant amplifier. Service: Warm and thoughtful, with appropriate boundaries, which I personally find more important.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I've tried both the Executive Lake View and the standard Lake View rooms, and while they offer a partial view of the lake, it's still quite nice. What I love most about staying here is its convenience. It's just three stops from Nanjing Railway Station, and you can access the hotel directly from Jinmao Shopping Mall after exiting the subway. The mall itself has some great shops I enjoy browsing, like POP and Cha Yan Yue Se. Dining is also easy, though I've unfortunately missed out on Nanjing Dapaidang twice now! The main reason I keep coming back, however, is the opportunity to run around Xuanwu Lake, from pre-dawn until sunrise. Xuanwu Lake also offers many other places to wander, including a Cha Yan Yue Se and a Xueba Creative Store, neither of which are available in Shanghai. There are also plenty of attractions nearby. My absolute favorite is Hongshan Forest Zoo. All the informational signs are handwritten, the animals have spacious habitats, and their fur looks so glossy and well-maintained – they must be living well. The park itself also has a wonderful wild charm.

Jiangpu Tangquan Area Nanjing|15.36km from city center
Service: The overall service is almost responsive. In the evening, the air conditioner was not working, so the staff sent four heaters. The shuttle bus waited for about three to five minutes in the morning, and there was a call to urge during the process. The hotel also needs to collect a deposit of 2,000? Now Ctrip rarely collects deposits. Facilities: It is not at the level of Marriott at all. The facilities of the 3,500 villa are not as good as those of the express hotel. The Buddha's Hand Villa we stayed in, the bathroom in Figure 6 is ridiculously small! The shower room can only stand one person at most. All the furniture in the room has been used for at least ten years, and it is not even as good as the facilities of 🍊 All Seasons, which is ridiculous... Hygiene: The vents in the closet are full of dust, and there are holes on the stools in the room. Safety: The most important thing is that the door in Figure 10 leads to the basement! The basement is like a maze and I don’t know if it will lead to the outside! ! As we all know, this is an open park. How is the safety of the guests guaranteed! ! In addition, all four rooms have doors leading to the terrace, which can be locked from the inside, but the terraces on the outside are separated by four beads, which can be opened by someone with intentions, which makes people feel insecure. . . The overall park environment is built on the mountain, and the air is very good. The environment is unique, but the facilities are really not good...People who have requirements for room facilities can take a detour.

This is our second stay at the Shangri-La Nanjing, and we're still just as delighted! It's so conveniently located right next to the subway station. The hotel has a refined ambiance, and the service is excellent and very welcoming. Just like last time, we booked a Horizon Club Deluxe Lake View room. It was a bit crowded during the Chinese New Year, and on the first day of the new year, we arrived a little late. The 40th-floor restaurant was full, and we almost missed breakfast. Thankfully, the customer service quickly arranged for us to eat at the second-floor restaurant, where we had a quick bite. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The location is fantastic, just about 20 meters from the subway station, a 2-minute walk. The service is definitely the biggest plus; they pretty much met every request. They proactively upgraded our room and gave our child complimentary breakfast. We also received welcome fruit, and they even escorted us to the elevator, among other thoughtful gestures. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich. The revolving restaurant offers great views, but the facilities are a bit old. The electric curtains were broken, and the most annoying thing was that after turning off the TV, it would make a 'bong bong' sound for over an hour before finally going quiet. I suggest the manager look into it. If you're looking for good value for money, this place is a decent option. Next time, I might opt for the Westin across the street, as the price difference on some platforms isn't that significant.

Staying in the Executive Twin Room with River View at Nanjing Shimao Riverside Hilton exceeded my expectations – definitely a five-star experience! The front desk staff were professional and welcoming. Check-in was efficient and quick, and they thoughtfully introduced the hotel facilities and the best spots for river views, all with friendly smiles. First impressions couldn't have been better. The hotel's hygiene control was exceptional. Public areas like the lobby and elevators were spotless. In the room, every detail was perfect, from the tabletops to the bathroom corners; there wasn't a speck of dust. The bedding was clean and soft, making for a very comfortable stay. Daily housekeeping was prompt and meticulous. The cleaning staff tidied up clutter, replenished toiletries and bottled water without being asked. Coming back to a perfectly neat room every day was a real joy. The Executive Twin Room with River View was spacious with a fantastic vista, directly facing the Yangtze River. Waking up to the morning mist over the river and watching the sunset in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. Overall, both the service and the amenities showcased the high standards of the brand. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nanjing!

They greet you warmly when you enter and exit. The consulting travel guides and tea and treasure boxes provided are very good. There are also free laundry rooms and gyms, which are very practical.
