The DoubleTree Buena Park, where I stayed for two nights to kick off my trip to the U.S., was comfortable. The transportation was convenient, and the accommodation was clean. Since Koreatown is right next door, it was easy to find places to eat. Being able to enjoy Starbucks coffee on the first floor of the hotel is also a plus. I will definitely stay here again when traveling around Buena Park in the future.

Alex the front desk manager is super nice and helpful. Hotel location is great, lots of stores near by. They also offer complimentary shuttle services to Disney, Dave and Tony are both great and friendly. Would recommend to stay at this place if you’re visiting Disney.
Only downside would be the bathtub, it drains really slow, if you took the shower too long, the tub would be flooded.

We are a family of 7 and we are from Asia. This is our second stay in Cortona Inn and it does not disappoint. Pricing is competitive. The rooms are spacious even for a big family like ours. What we like the most is that all in-house guests get to eat breakfast for free. They serve egg, sausages, toast/bread/muffins, cereals, coffee and fruits. And because Cortona is very near Disneyland Park and various food establishments and shopping centers, it is very convenient to its guests. We like to stay at Cortona. The biggest highlight of this hotel is the free shuttle service to and from Disneyland! It drops you off right at the park entrance, so you don't have to wake up early to walk or take a taxi. After a whole day of walking, your feet are probably killing you, so having a shuttle is such a lifesaver! The shuttle drivers are all very friendly, and the service is always on time. Location is very close to Disneyland which is perfect, about 7-10 minute walk. It is hard to see the actual hotel because of the surrounding tall buildings but the small entrance is right next to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. We are a family of 6 with 16,7,8 and 3 year old kids. We were given a corner room, 2 queen bed suite. Room location is not ideal, we have a view of the hotel’s HVAC system. I think the suite is quite small but it does not matter to us since we didn’t book to stay at the hotel but to spend in Disneyland. I have one complaint about the room: the charging station (one) by the night stand was not working, as well as the reading light on one of the beds. This is personally important to me as I need to charge my phone at the end of the day and I need it close to my bed for easy access. The bathroom is clean. Spacious stand in shower. Great water pressure and temperature. Spacious bathroom vanity with large LED mirror. Towels are enough. Toiletries are complete. Room kitchen is complete with a spacious fridge. Room sofa is ok, not the most comfortable but it is not a deal breaker for me. The sofa can turn into a bed but we didn’t use it. One large tv in the living area and one large tv in the bedroom. I think the closet size is decent, has limited number of hangers. Hotel lobby and dining area is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Free buffet breakfast when I booked, it was good- depending on the day, they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon, tater tots, fried potatoes, grapes and honeydew, different flavored yogurt, make-your-own-Mickey-waffles, bagels. They have all the condiments and all kinds of drinks. You can order food from your room from outside places (room service) but the choices are limited and of course more expensive; we used DoorDash instead as the price is about the same, if not, cheaper and the choices are endless and it was delivered right to our room anyway. Check in and check out process is quick and smooth. I’d say our stay was comfortable and enjoyable for the most part!FromUS$195

There is a small commercial street downstairs, which basically meets the needs. It takes only ten minutes to walk to Disneyland. The double beds in American hotels are all 1.5 meters, so two adults and two children can sleep without being crowded.

I think it's absolutely fantastic! First off, it's pretty close to the park; a taxi ride is only about ten bucks, and walking back after the park closes at night takes just over ten minutes – a real time and effort saver. Secondly, the price is simply amazing. Three nights here cost less than one night at an official hotel. Since official hotels don't offer early entry anymore, it makes sense to save some money. A taxi to Goofy's Kitchen was also ten bucks, so we got to have our first meal in the US and explore the park's hotel! 😂 The official check-in time is 4 PM, but we arrived around 12 PM, and the lady at the front desk checked us in right away – super grateful for that! We got drenched in a downpour and came into a super warm room for a great nap. The fridge in the room works perfectly, and the bed is very comfortable. My room was even next to the ice machine, which was incredibly convenient! There are plenty of outlets in the room, so no worries there. My mom said the pool was great, but I didn't go. Everything was awesome, except for the shower water pressure being a bit low (though the next hotel I stayed at also had low water pressure, is California experiencing a water shortage? 🥹).FromUS$169
