Liuxiang Commercial Area Taiyuan|2.1km from city center
[Location] The location is excellent, with Wenying Park to the west and Wuyi Shopping Center to the east. It is very convenient for dining, shopping, and walking after meals. 10 minutes drive from Taiyuan Station. Friendly reminder: Although the bus only has less than two stops, it is still a long way to walk (a lesson learned from personal experience) [Facilities] The facilities of a relatively new hotel must look old, but they are very clean and functionally maintained. I think they are up to standard. Moreover, the hotel itself has a sense of age and history, and the facilities are also very unified. [Style Features] The hotel itself is a historical attraction, especially the night view is very, very beautiful. After arriving in Taiyuan on the first day, I spent the afternoon and evening directly at the hotel. The hotel's own restaurant is very good, with authentic Shanxi cuisine. It is recommended to arrive early if you want to taste it, as the queue will be serious after 7 o'clock. [Summary] It was a very good stay experience. I stayed in the off-season in January, and the price was 500 per day including two breakfasts. It is worth recommending. Overall Rating 8/10

Booked a double room, the hotel has a good location, and it is convenient to find food around. It is convenient to take a taxi or subway. The hotel facilities are good, there is a humidifier and fruit. The bedding is OK. I stayed in Taiyuan for the last night and slept well. The hotel contacted by phone before checking in to inquire about the habits and special requirements of the check-in. I think this is good 😊

Taiyuan Zoo Taiyuan|5.29km from city center
I have stayed in this hotel many times, and have given extremely high and detailed evaluations on the whole platform in terms of front desk accommodation, restaurants, fitness, management, etc. The service was less than satisfactory. I stayed here several times every year during the three years of the epidemic, and I have a certain feeling for this place and hope that the hotel will also improve, but it is obvious that the hotel does not care much about ”small customers” like us. Not to mention the intimate greetings, the hotel doesn't even know who I am. I don't care about repeat customers who stay repeatedly. Lack of humane management. When we checked in, we arrived at the hotel and there were no rooms available, the male receptionist who wanted to give the front desk a vacancy called when a room was available and we went out to eat. But before I came back, I didn't get a reply to the phone. There were vacancies, but I didn't get a warm and friendly reception immediately. Instead, I waited for a while before checking in after waiting for the staff member and the cleaning aunt to hand over the work. Another 900 yuan was required to swipe the card for processing. I asked what happened to the 502 yuan deducted from Ctrip. He was very impatient and told me to look at Ctrip by myself. It doesn't take much effort to answer patiently! You are playing tricks on me, you are obliged to tell me what the money is, isn't it? All in all the experience was not very good. When I checked in last time, I reflected that the hotel's gym classes were not allowed to be used by guests. Later, the hotel has improved, and a notice of separate management has been posted at the entrance of the gym. Since the staff in the fitness department must be properly restrained in the hotel, the female staff with Qi Liuhai went to the bathroom with the door open, sitting in a swaying posture, which is very inappropriate. There are lifeguards in the swimming pool and coaches in the gym. Although I didn't take classes, I am very polite and have a top hat. These are good. The hotel's breakfast feels like a lot of work, but the details are not handled well. For example, the distance between the dining table and the sofa is too far. I am 1.65 meters tall and sitting is very uncomfortable, and guests who are lower than me will feel even more uncomfortable. The hotel's cake table is particularly dishonest. Many things are directly placed on the top with cooked food picked from outside, which makes people feel very unappetizing. The butter is not like the original Anjia butter that has been changed to bulk butter. Added a new coffee machine, made coffee very fast. But the rest of the food wasn't as good as it used to be. There has been some improvement in the aspect of fruits, including pineapples, dragon fruit, and awns, but the presentation is still relatively rough. The hotel's toothbrushes and room cards have been replaced with environmentally friendly log series, and robot food delivery has also been added. I will choose to stay in the future if I have the opportunity, but I hope that the hotel will strengthen its management and not treat repeat customers coldly. 5.2 After eleven o'clock, the daughter picked up a phone watch and handed it to the front desk. Has the owner been found? Should you tell us? ! Maybe you don't even know who picked it up! I hope you will be more attentive and meticulous in your work, so that the hotel will definitely be able to run well. I am not a management student, so I can feel that there are many loopholes and I am not considerate! rather disappointed...

I like this kind of old hotel more and more. The room has a higher ceiling than other hotels and is large enough, with bright lighting. You can also choose welcome gifts from welcome fruits, good night drinks, local snacks, etc. Although the windows cannot be opened, the vents can be adjusted, making it safer and more user-friendly. The bedding is particularly good, with soft pillows and buckwheat pillows available. The toiletries are very good and more considerate than many five-star hotels. This is the first time I have seen wet tissues, and cotton swabs are more considerate. The breakfast is particularly rich, including Shanxi specialties and sushi. The service is also very good and friendly. There are 2 breakfast halls, buffet and à la carte, for different customers to choose from. The location is also very good, opposite Yingze Park and very close to the pedestrian street and square.

Good hotel occupying 2 floors of a commercial building in the city. Easy access to pedestrian mall, eateries and food stalls right in front of hotel. Our room was even equipped with a small washing machine! Ample supply of drinking water much appreciated. Housekeeping staff number 072 was courteous and helpful keeping our 3 rooms clean and well kept. Only setback to this hotel is no porterage nor ramp available and we had to carry our big bags up the steps to the main lobby.

The hotel is located in the old city of Taiyuan with convenient transportation. The hotel facilities are simple but not simple, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Especially when you do not check in, a disinfected seal will be posted on the door, which is reassuring! The fly in the ointment is that the air conditioning in the room seems a bit out of control, and the effect is not satisfactory.

Taiyuan Ancient County/Jinci Temple Taiyuan|19.58km from city center
The area and garden landscape of this state guesthouse are worthy of the title of state guesthouse. And it has a unique geographical advantage, being only separated from royal gardens such as Jinci Temple by a wall. Of course, the decoration of the room is aging (otherwise it would not be the current price, how many so-called luxury hotels have such a garden investment and geographical advantage). I would like to praise the little brother of the battery car and the sister of the waiter at the water bar in the lobby. I returned to the hotel around 10 o'clock last night and saw that the lobby bar was still open. On a whim, I said I wanted to buy ice cream and ice water for my children. My sister said that there was no supply of these two things at this time, but asked me to wait. After making a phone call, a little brother picked me up at the entrance of the lobby in a battery car and pulled me from Building No. 9 to near the staff dormitory. He took me to a canteen owned by the staff and bought the snacks and ice cream that the children wanted. , ice water. The little brother was polite all the way, helped me with things, and proudly explained to me the history and scenery of the State Guesthouse, as well as the attractions around Jinci Temple that are worth visiting. It was past 10 o'clock in the evening, and I wanted to buy some snacks to enjoy this kind of VIP service. I have stayed in so many hotels and never enjoyed this one before. We must praise the little brother of the battery car and the sister of the water bar in the lobby last night.

The room is very good, and the key is the excellent location, on Yingze Street, where self-driving cars can be easily stored, and the South Railway Station is not far from here. You can go to Gulou Street (Liuxiang) at night, which is more interesting than Wangfujing Street in Beijing. With this place as the center, it is very convenient to go to the Old Shanxi Provincial Committee Compound (Jin Merchants Museum), Jin Temple, and the surrounding Kong Xiangxi Former Residence, Qiao Family Courtyard, Chang Family Manor, Pingyao Ancient City, etc. If you listen carefully to the explanation, these places will take three days, and it is so comfortable to go home with full of memories.

They also had excellent basic service, such as lifting up your luggage! If there is only one thing that is regrettable, no one can speak English. The difficulty of communicating was too much. It would be better if even the front desk staff could speak English😊 Everything else was good! I want to visit again next time🩷

A few hours before check-in, the hotel called to inquire about check-in requirements. The lady was very smart to hear that I was traveling with the elderly and needed a quiet location, so she specially noted that we had a high-rise room. When we arrived at the lobby, there was a waiting employee to greet us. After check-in, the young man took the initiative to help us carry our luggage to the room. During the period, he saw that I was traveling with the elderly and specially took care of our executive lounge trea**ent. My elderly family was very happy! This fairy employee is BIN WANG/Brother Wang Bin! Thank you! The boss of Courtyard, please give him a chicken leg hahahahaha At the beginning of this trip, I hesitated about the newly opened JW Marriott. Thinking that it had only been open for a month, I was afraid that there would be a decoration smell that the elderly could not adapt to, so I chose Courtyard. Now I am very glad about this decision hahahaha. Although it was only a short two-night stay, I will choose Courtyard in Taiyuan in the future (especially when I stayed at Datong Yungang Hotel later.
