Place is nice. It is near the city center however I would not recommend it to any elderly tho as the steps are a but stiff. Place is very quiet so its a plus.
We encounter some problems tho specially with the electricity and the keycard. Keycard was not working the whole time we stayed there. Only upside would be that the one we talk to in whatsapp replies fast so they provided us with temporary password each time we had to enter or we would have the cleaning lady open the doors for us if she’s there. The electricity also short circuits causing us to lose electricity.
Private room in the homestay was absolutely beautiful and the service was amazing. I was taken to my room at 2am on arrival, laundry was done promptly, they offered free bag storage for the day after i checked out and best of all, allowed me to use a shower when i returned to collect my bag! Highly recommend staying here as a nice spot to relax after the Ha Giang loop.
I had a great time at Chin Chin's.
Chin Chin and her mother are very friendly and welcoming, and the family dinner they serve is amazing.
I did one trekking tour with Chin Chin as well, she's very open to questions and conversation about the local cultures, so it was very interesting. On top of that there's some beautiful views and places you get to see.
Pros: The building is pretty, the boss is friendly, in front of the hostel in the morning
You can eat at 20,000 Binmi, there is win mart right in front of the hostel
Cons: The location is bad (stop at Laokai bus station), the bedding smells not good, there are stains, the towel smells, the smell of cigarettes in the room.
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Sapa Sinai Homestay Hotel. The view from our bungalow was simply breathtaking — waking up to the stunning mountain scenery was a highlight of our trip. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, offering a perfect blend of charm and tranquillity.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond — helping us book attraction tickets, recommending the best local spots to visit, and even arranging taxis for us at very reasonable prices. Her kindness and attention to detail really made us feel at home.
We would absolutely love to stay here again and can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone visiting Sapa!
Our room was extremely spacious with a beautiful view of the ********* mountain side. Our room came with free breakfast made to order every morning. The staff were super good about asking us the night before what we would like to have for breakfast and when we would like to have it, our room was super clean. Beds were very comfortable the only issue we had is they were having issues with water pressure and they’re hot water, but I am sure that they have that fixed by now. when this was brought to their attention, they immediately had a technician come out and tried to fix it, but it required additional parts so I’m sure that that issue is no longer a problem.
It was located midway along the trek, and the view was fantastic. The service was excellent, and I was able to see the homes and lifestyles of the ethnic minorities.
There aren't many places to eat around Damin.
I bought warm tofu every day from Yeopjip's Tofu Factory.
For those who are trekking, it would be a good option to take a break and explore the surrounding area.
It's what you'd expect for the price, they are a little disorganised, but I must add that Tham (manager) organised a private taxi to the Lao Cai border gate for me for just 100k VND. They'll also arrange motorbike/tours/bus tickets etc if you need it, but give them a little time and patience !
We chose this structure for a good price!
5 stars go to the room for the view, it's like a small wooden stick, with a crazy view, so it's just deserving.
It takes 15/20 minutes walk to the center, during the day it is feasible but not evening because it is not a lighted road so it is to assess the Grab option that is still super efficient in the area and costs little!
Our room had everything: covers, boiler, hairdryer, hot air conditioner, TV.
We chose the room with bathroom and shower without tent, it was not the best of comfort because the whole bathroom was wet, because the bathroom was very small, A large neo was during the shower that the hot water no longer worked so it did as it could.
We can make breakfast in the building but we have not enjoyed it, but I think it is an eastern breakfast so it is to be informed!
In general, I advise you if you want to stay more apart and enjoy a beautiful view but I would recommend a normal room but with a little bigger bathroom!
We had an okay stay in this guest house. Mr and Ms Nguyen were very accommodating during our stay, they let us check in early, free of charge and were very kind to us during our stay. The rooms provided are okay, it was pretty standard/basic, but we enjoyed the heated mattress that helped us sleep properly in the night. No AC also since SaPa temps is already cold at night but there is an e-Fan provided.

GGuest UserSuch a beautiful hotel! It was really pretty when the fog cleared!! But the location is a bit disappointing (I can't help it...) I thought I was going to the other world when I took a taxi from downtown late at night and drove through the fogㅠ
But everyone was friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was especially so delicious that I had to buy the beans!

FFAJARULAffordable price, warm hospitality. The room is worth the price with basic necessities. Please choose a double room, ground floor. The room is spacious and easy for us Muslim to pray. The twin room on the 2nd floor, small room not enough space to pray but they have huge balcony but unfortunately we come during rainy season so we didn't utilize the balcony. The staff are really friendly and help us a lot to suggest what is the best itinerary during our stay due to the rainy season. The room rate includes breakfast but for us Muslim only we can eat hard boiled eggs because they serve pork. But do not worry the halal restaurant is only walking distance from the homestay. If you don't feel like walking you can rent a motorbike from the reception from 7am to 10pm only 150k. The view from the rooftop is so beautiful. If you like to save budget, this is the best place to stay. Cheapest & comfortable. If you enjoy walking, there are some places walking distance only. Sunplaza (funicular ride to Moang Ho Station), Sapa Market, The Swing is just nearby.
Nearby Halal Restaurant
Hajah Hawa - affordable price, big portions, taste was good
Halal Sapa - a bit pricey, Pizza & fried rice so good. Coffee not worth it 😂 hotpot not worth it at all
Sapa Rasa Sayang Halal Buffet - around 250k many choices

AAnonymous UserIn the center of the town, the proprietress is enthusiastic, the environment is good, the price is high, it is close to Panxibangfeng Station, and I will go back to the hotel to rest immediately if I am tired. If I visit again, I am willing to continue to stay!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located on the main street right next to the market, and about 20mins walk from the town, perfect if you are a market person.
Communication with the hotel is mainly via Google translate, all requests were honoured just needed a little patience and understanding when communicating with them.
There's all the basic amenities you need without frills. It's definitely a bargain to get your own room with a private toilet.
GGuest UserRoom : VERY GOOD AND NICE VIEW
CLEAN
This is one of the best place you could ever stay if you want to enjoy a scenic view when you wake up
A good and chill quiet place
More safer and calmer — the staff are really friendly and helpful— just had a hard time on understanding each other but they are really patience with their guest and trying to communicate better.
Better to always communicate on the hotel chat service they can clear everything for you and make sure you will have a smooth and pleasant stay.
They booked everything for us for a round trip sleeper bus
Without anycharges at all — if you need something just make sure to ask them better on the hotel support and they’ll make sure to help you without hesitation
Its a 24/7 chat support

We had such a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Since the hotel is located quite high up, they even helped us carry our luggage all the way up — which we really appreciated!
The room was super beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. One of our friends lost the key to her luggage padlock, and they kindly helped to cut it open (with a saw!) until it worked — such lifesavers! 😄
They also prepared breakfast early just for us because we had to check out earlier than usual. Their thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made our trip memorable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Sapa!
ТТатьяна СклярExcellent hotel! We had a family vacation for a couple of days. The location is just super! There is a cafe nearby with a view of the train. Although you can also see the train from the hotel windows. I really liked the space downstairs of the hotel: kitchen area, sofa, lots of places to relax. Everything is done with love! You cook and watch the train go by - they take people to Fansipan. And the train station is also a 5-minute walk away at a leisurely pace. Very convenient. The best location! Wi-Fi in the rooms is ok, in the lobby it just flew.
The room was clean, pleasant atmosphere. Bed linen is clean, everything is great! Very friendly staff. They allowed us to leave our things in the lobby until the evening. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely recommend you!
