GGuest UserLovely spacious clean room. Just a couple of minor points. The room has no tv which wasn’t a problem but there is only 1 chair to sit at so if reading or playing a board game the only places to sit are either the floor or the bed. Could do with a curtain at the window between the bathroom and bedroom in the end room. Breakfast is continental and as seen in pictures. There are 2 bar stools to eat at in the kitchen . Might be worth booking if planning to eat evening meal in the pub we were lucky but can be busy. Also worth noting that Sunday lunch is only served up to about 4pm and this seem to be the same most places locally so plan ahead.

GGuest UserStayed for a festival nearby. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was great, we had lunch and breakfast and both were lovely. Rooms were clean and comfortable and felt like they had recently been updated. 10/10 would stay again.

GGuest UserIt is dated and the A1 is noisy but that’s what you’d expect choosing a hotel next to it. Our trip was fine. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was basic and plenty of it.

MMiaka QuayThe location is perfect, situated just opposite of the St. Albans Cathedral Abbey. Their service was great too, the receptionist was kind and friendly. As for the cleanliness... the room is very clean. However, the room is very old. Creaking floors and walls. Uneven floors. Their isnt mold visually but there are moldy smells. There are cobwebs but only if you see closely. Their bed are extremely soft, like sleeping on marshmallows. Their TV have no channels at all, so nothing to watch. They do provide free wi-fi. As for amenities, all in provided including body wash, shampoo and bar soap. In the room, they have iron board, iron and hair dryer. Those who wanting for a drink, situated at their reception is a bar itself.
