Very good, we are self-driving, the hotel parking charges 20 euros a night, but there is no need to stop the parking lot, the hotel door can be parked free of charge, many local cars parked there, just stop, just on the edge of the British park is very convenient, eat It’s good to have a good walk, the hotel has a gym and a swimming pool, but the swimming pool is a bit too small, not far from the bus, overall satisfaction, Hilton quality is still guaranteed.

Was staying 2 days in Munich to see friends. Looked for central hotel with parking. The place is nice, I didn’t have breakfast, really close to the metro and a few minutes fast walk from Marienplatz. Regarding the parking, be careful if you have a big car, there is place for only 6 cars and if the big ones are up the front it might be tough to get in reversing as it would be impossible to turn in the little court and you’re definitely not going to want to move it during your stay. Fine if you have a Smart.
We have just returned home from our 2 week stay with the Swabinger Wahrheit The hotel had organised a pick up from the airport and after a 25 hour flight and little sleep we were happy we took up the offer. Our hotel rooms were ready for us on arrival despite arriving very early in the morning. I have to say, nothing is too much trouble at this hotel, hotel management will fall over themselves to help out in any way possible. The beds are dreamy, pillows are soft and rooms are soundproof. The hotel has a wellness room that we used each morning and the breakfast each morning was super fresh The location can't be beaten, Schwabing is just north of the city & Old town but the U bahn stop (giselastrasse station) is just around the corner although we preferred to walk along the beautiful main street into Odensplatz and Marienplatz. Its only a 20 minute walk into the city and a few minutes walk to the beautiful English gardens. Schwabing is a trendy area with lots of great shops, restaurants and german bakeries close by. Edeka & Lidl are just around the corner. We are so thankful that we choose this location after looking around the city. We had thought about staying near the train station for convenience but so glad we didn't We will definitely return
Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations but one serious flaw prevents me from giving it a better review so here we go.. Pros: relatively large room (compared to a teeeny tiny European rooms in most places), location is great (very close to a U-Bahn stop to get to city center, lots of restaurants around), breakfast was good (the usual spread of cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, etc), pillows are great (compared to crappy flat pillows we had experienced in other places in Germany). Cons: the place is a little dated, the furniture in the room mismatched, and the bathroom smelled. And not just a little bit...when we came back to our room the first night the bathroom seemed to have developed a strange sauerkraut-like smell. The smell seemed to improve if you took a shower (but not much and not for long). We kept the bathroom door closed at all times to not let the smell come into the room and kept window open to try to circulate the air. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the smell I would give this place a solid 4.5, but it was hard to use the bathroom because of the it. When we left, the sauerkraut stayed.
Offering a restaurant, Pension Mona Lisa is located in the centre of Munich. Free Wi-Fi access is available.Featuring a bath or shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. Extras include a desk and bed linen. The guest house is 400 metres from Bavarian National Museum, 800 metres from Hofbräuhaus and 800 metres from Bavarian State Opera. Munich Airport is 28 km away.
I chose the hotel in Munich and I decided to make this. When you look up from the subway station, you can see the door of the hotel. Although the door is not big, you can see that there is no wrong choice when you push the door. The suite is a style I personally like, and it is the ideal European hotel. The hotel’s small garden is also a different kind of exquisite. It is very convenient to go out, there are subways and trams at the door. Even if there is no problem walking, it will take more than ten minutes to go to Marianne Square. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning (it seems to have an air conditioning panel but it can't be opened, but the fan is enough, not hot) and the refrigerator.

Fantastic location and brilliant staff. The breakfast choices were great and the service impeccable. The room was the slight disappointment for me. The mattress was really saggy and I found that both my husband and I were rolling into the centre. There was a lot of dust in the room which I noticed as it would be all over the feet of my tights each day and all over the fake flowers. I probably wouldn’t have noticed but for the fact I sneezed and it sent the largest amount of dust into the air-I’d get rid of them to be honest! The furniture was odd and the room had sooo many mirrors (although this may tickle some people’s fancy) but was adequate for a 2 night stay. The bathroom was very small but this wasn’t an issue as the shower pressure was good (although the shower door doesn’t shut properly). I was however shocked that they were trying to charge €4,50 for a 500ml bottle of Evian. Reading other reviews, when criticised about this management have simply said ‘it’s the norm’. Well it wasn’t at the other hotel we stayed at and if that is the case, how about setting yourself apart from the usual hotels and providing this (or at least at a reasonable cost). This alone made us very sure we wouldn’t have a drink in the hotel bar-god knows how much alcohol would have cost! Possibly styling themselves as more upmarket than they are, however we may have simply been a little unlucky with the room we were given (we spied a lovely room on our way out which looked far more tastefully decorated!).
The location of this hotel Service The sanitation facilities are very good, the only drawback is that it is expensive, especially during the Oktoberfest, the tax is 1700 RMB per day. I feel good about everything else, and breakfast is also the best hotel I have ever eaten in Europe.
This hotel in the south of Munich is very convenient, a 3-minute walk from the U-Ban Silberhornstraße metro station.
It is only 4 stops from Silberhornstraße Station to Munich Central Station, so there is no inconvenience in sightseeing in the city.
As you can go to the exhibition hall at once, it is a convenient place for a hotel on business trips.
Breakfast at the Italian restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is excellent, and you can also purchase household items at the Rewe Mart across from the hotel.
Actually stayed in July of 2019 but couldn't select that. After some confusion between the different Holiday Inns around this particular area we finally found our hotel. Holiday Inn Express right next door so be aware of that. Found this a bit far out from city but train station is a 10 minute walk away so that was fine. From memory I found a couple of staff a little rude but not enough to ruin our stay. Rooms were ok and would recommend this if you don't mind being a bit far out from city at a cheaper rate.
The location did not say, go out is the commercial street, quiet in the middle of noisy, breakfast typical German style, simple but the match is not bad. Not far from the subway station, about three or four hundred meters, the subway can go directly to the exhibition hall
very good. be quiet. clean. Breakfast is good. I later lived in this house. The 190/191 bus station is right at the door of the hotel. It is convenient to take a few steps and turn to the city railway station. There are Vietnamese restaurants nearby. Very convenient to the old town
It is in Munich at night, the hotel location is very close to the Munich train station, and it is a weekend, parking is very convenient (the hotel's parking lot is under maintenance, so temporarily parked on the side of the road near the hotel). The hotel rooms are quite large, clean and tidy, the equipment and furniture are very complete, and the service in the hotel lobby is very thoughtful and meticulous.
Very suitable for business trips, especially a 15-minute walk to the hotel. There are also shopping malls around, so you don’t have to worry about eating and drinking. Especially the Vietnamese restaurant, satisfies the longing of Yuzi's opposite and rice. I want to eat fast food, and Uncle Mai is on the side...the best thing is ~ medicines and skin care products that my friends bring, I can buy them all here, don’t want the perfect ones
The location of the hotel is quite convenient. It is about 400 meters away from the subway entrance. If you take a taxi to the city center, it is about 10 euros. The hotel environment has nothing to say.
Smack in the center of Munich facing the Central Station is not posh, but rather convenient and allows direct access to the shopping mile, theaters, museums, cinemas and - yes - the more refined part of town. Inside the hotel happens to be (not brandnew, but) comfy & cosy & fun. The staff is really, really nice, the atmo is relaxed, happening and young. We felt warm and welcome the whole time. I also loved the bicycle in my room! Brilliant idea! The breakfast buffet is yummy, the prices at the Tel-Aviv-Style restaurant for dinner are reasonable. We slept very well and spent a wonderful weekend. I would come back any time.
There is a certain distance from the city center, the restaurant can be dine, there is no restaurant mall nearby, but there is a bus stop downstairs, the traffic is convenient. The room was small, but it was clean and the twin was booked. The result was a big bed, which was generally comfortable.
The hotel is four stations away from the central railway station, and the transportation is convenient. The hotel is about 100 meters away from the subway station. There are several bus lines in front of the hotel. There are many types of cheese, ham, and bread for breakfast.
There are three days to left Salzburg, the hotel can store luggage for free.
The hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!
The environment is good, the bathroom is not big, the use is quite convenient, the breakfast is better, the lack of air conditioning, the room is very hot during the day, only a small fan, the room TV is small, it seems that some are not used to it.
The internal environment of the hotel is good and the breakfast is very rich. Before going to bed, I found the room window was locked and it was noisy to close it. Called the room service, the other party said to send someone to deal with it, and then lost the following. German rigor, maybe just a legend, this review is not only for this hotel, haha😄
We stayed for 4 nights from July 14 and on a business trip. This hotel is "at home" if it is good, and "simplicity" if it is bad. There is only the minimum necessary to sleep (mineral water is also paid). However, if you don't ask for too high requirements, even services, there is no problem at all. The breakfast buffet was only the minimum thing, but it was delicious. Especially homemade pickles are the best. It is about 20 minutes by taxi to Marienne Square in the tourist center of Munich, and it is very good because it is 2 stations in the subway, but I think it was good that it was not so much around. The restaurant is also substantial within 10 minutes walk.
There are only five parking spaces, generally can not stop, the store on the back of the road to find their own parking space! The room is relatively small, there is no air conditioning and electric fan, there is a two-person elevator; breakfast is quite rich; there is a large comprehensive shopping mall 1 km away, you have to eat and drink to buy and you can play, just at the subway exchange station, access is still very convenient .
We stayed in this hotel from 26/12 to 30/12 2 adults + 1 child. Arrived on 26 the reception after 16 was closed and they send us a pin to remove the keys from an external electronic cassette at the entrance of the hotel. Take the key n.302 we enter the lift and we notice that the third floor We are looking for the room that, after several inspections, we find it at the back of the entrance through a close path alongside a gasoline distributor. We must say that the room was large, clean and all the comforts needed were available. We had to go out for breakfast and reach the main entrance; breakfast was not very much provided, especially with regard to the sweet (small cornets and small sizes). To be a very good reception staff member's availability when he comes to the hotel at 22.30 to give us double keys because those in the room we forgot them in the morning of the same day. Great price ratio for comfort and location (a 2 steps from Grosshader stop metro line U6 if you arrive at Marienplatz with S8 from the airport). Good!!!
The hotel rooms are nice, they have everything that should be there, and there is also a parking place. There are not many people around, but it’s only a two-minute drive from the supermarket, and the stuff inside is very cheap. The breakfast is great, and overall the price is great.
Apart from the delicious breakfast, the hotel is not on my top list. The room is relatively comfortable, and the bathroom on the 24/7 side is very good and fully equipped. The point is that there is a supermarket next to it. You can buy delicious food except on Sundays. There is also dm, you can go to the side to pick up gifts when you return home. There are taxis at the door of the hotel and the transportation is very convenient, but it is more expensive to take a taxi in Munich. It is about 80 euros from the hotel to the airport. You can also use public transportation. There is a bus stop at the door. This is relatively close to the English Garden, so you can go for a walk.
Close to the metro, less than a ten minute walk. Breakfast is great. There is a direct underground to Oktoberfest without having to change trains. The environment is calm and the meat in the Turkish restaurant not far away is delicious.
I booked my room with my Accor loyalty points and was delighted to receive an upgrade and a free breakfast offer for the week end. When checking in, the young lady on the front desk was very kind and confirmed that we will get free breakfast. I especially asked if we are staying 3 nights do we only get 2 breakfasts free? She replyed, no we have 3 free breakfasts. Great. We had a pleasant stay, though because of the low number of staff, sometimes it is close to impossible to communicate with anybody. As I had an online check in with € 150 blocked on my credit card, I was very disappointed on departure when a different young lady on the front desk demanded payment for 2 breakfasts. I told her, that I was told we have all 3 breakfasts free. She that is not true because we only have 2. I told her again that her colleague informed us differently, but she was quite rude about this. Anyway as my money was blocked and we had to leave I left. I am now waiting to see what happens and have not heard from the hotel since. The renovated room upgrade was a nice surprise but the check out was a big disapointing finish to our stay.
A Mercure hotel always fits the brand standards. Stay simple and offer the basis necessity. Getting here was simple from Munich airport as I took the Lufthansa bus and later a connecting subway. I checked late evening around 9. The receptionist was prompt, organized and quick. The decor of the hotel is very fancy, stylish with various paintings of past female royals on each room door and many others on the wall... My room was very cosy and had everything I needed as a business traveller. Well planned rooms with Various power and USB ports. The 4th floor though is not for travelers with heavy/too many luggage or physically challenged as the elevators access is only till 3rd floor. The lobby area serves breakfast and this was kept simple and exactly what is required to start the day full of energy... Small but smart option for making your own healthy cereal bowl. Plus they had local bread and sausages speciality. Area to highlight: Housekeeping service didn’t replenish tea/coffee station. Plus it was surprising for them to change my dry towel after day 1 as Going by the sustainability program of Accor this was strange and also as I had kept it folded in one corner. Another focus to ensure periodic checks are made for specific stations as Honey display offering 3 type had 2 empty bottles. I guess a weekly task.. A hotel I Surely recommend to business travelers visiting Munich as not only my stay was comfortable but the area is well connected with trams, bus and other transport, plus many decent restaurants in the surrounding.
This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. There are many kinds of fruits, a lot of fruits, and a handsome little brother will make you an egg roll.
I traveled Germany for 2 weeks. My last stop was Munich. During the trip I mostly stayed in A&O hostels which is one the cheaper side (€45 vs €80 for a single room). Well for what difference are you paying? A more international vibe with more educated travelers, in A&0 hostels I have met construction workers who were working and just looked for the cheapest accommodation available. While in Wombat it were people who were traveling just like me and had full-time jobs as a teacher, accountant, urban planner, journalist or as a project manager. Nothing wrong with construction workers though, I enjoined my drinks with them as much as enjoined my drinks with the wombats residents. But if you are looking to meet equally minded people you are better off in the wombat hostel. The kitchen and lounge area were very clean. This was during covid times, occupancy rate was low, and they tried to separate the guest as much as possible, so if you paid for a 10 person dorm room you could be the only person in it. At the private room I had a big sunny terrace and a twin bed who was cleaned every day. Unfortunate the WiFi didn't reached my room. When the sun was out it could get very hot in my room. Note that during my stay the bar was closed for covid reasons. To replace this they placed a fridge at the reception were you could buy a beer for €2 each. And in the lounge area we could drink and chat with other guest untill 0h00. About the staff: most were very friendly and tried to go the extra mile for you. One night we had to stop drinking in the lounge area and were moved friendly to the closed bar. But two days after with someone else manning the night shift this wasn't possible anymore. The neighborhood is great since I traveled by train. There is a supermarket at the train station which is open 24/24. There is also a cheaper option called Lidl nearby. Munich is big and expect to need to walk for at least a half hour if you want to see other attractions like English garden. One last note 5 nights in Munich is probably to long. There is a lot to see but I would recommend only a 3 day stay.
It is conveniently located near the Central Railway Station and has convenient transportation. Booked a room with breakfast, Continental breakfast is rich, Mini bar drinks are free. The hotel is designed in a modern minimalist style. Because it is near the train station, the surrounding environment is slightly general.
Very happy with our stay. a couple on a honeymoon across xmas/new year. The helpful and professional staff was the highlight of our stay. Room are spacious, clean and what you would exspect for any 3-4 star hotel. Location is absolutely amazing, we couldnt believe everytime we googled a resteruant, bar, oval, train, it was all withing 5-10min walking from the hotel. plus we walked across the road for 2min from the main munich train HBF station. the best location ever. 5 STAR HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Very good value too
The rooms are big and stunned, 3 times more than the average room. There is a sofa and there is a min kitchen. The restaurant is good around. Basically impeccable. Is the location is relatively biased, from the Reim and U2 subway station, walking 20 minutes, or transfer to the bus. There is also a supermarket within a 10-minute walk.
The hotel is next to the Central Railway Station and there is a DM nearby, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. There are many rooms, but the rooms are small, the breakfast is great, there are many breads, drinks and sausages to choose from. In addition, it is very convenient to go to the airport. Turn left at the hotel and you can get to the airport by bus.
We spent 5 weeks in Europe this past October/November and feel this was one of the less desirable of our stays. Having had a great experience here in 2005, we thought we would return. This time we drove instead of arriving by train. Convenience to the train station is great, by the way. Having a car this time made it difficult to find the hotel but, once found, parking at the very close parking lot was convenient. Checking in, however, took over 20 minutes. The young woman at the front desk took quite a bit of time to find a room even though we had a reservation. Then, after giving me the key, she told me to wait, left the desk, and returned with the owner and asked me to wait for a better room. This took a long time. I'm not sure how much better the room was because it was quite small. We only planned to spend one night so we were fine with it. The beds, in our opinion, were super comfortable. The bathroom was extremely small, lacked any hooks for hanging clothes or towels, and had only a few tissues available. The hotel location is a bit seedy so I wouldn't spend a lot of time walking around late at night in this area. Breakfast was crowded but we lucked into a table. Food was great. Not sure we would select this hotel again in the future.
The hotel is within 10 minutes from the Central Railway Station, the location is ok, the hotel facilities are relatively old, especially the beds and bedding. Although the breakfast is not particularly rich, there should be everything, especially the green apple ravioli every day, favorite!
