The hotel is a good choice for budgetminded travelers but it is somewhat distant from the center of the city. It took about a half hour to walk to the rotonde, which is the center of Aix. However, along the way to the rotonde are plenty of cafes, shops selling food, wine and bread. The route is pretty direct and leads directly to Cours Mirabeau, the main thoroughfare of Aix, You can take a taxi from the rotonde to the hotel for 8 Euros. Breakfast provided a nice selection of European breakfast choices and you could dine on the outside terrace on the days that it was open. The hotel didn't have laundry facilities, but there is a pressing service(dry cleaner) a short walk from the hotel on Gambetta that will do laundry. My personal biggest negative was that you have to climb a steep driveway and then some stairs to reach the entrance to the hotel. Although you can bypass the stairs by entering through the garage and taking a lift to the main floor, you still have to walk to reception at the entrance. If you're carrying luggage, either way it's a trek. I'm in my eighties, so at the end of a day of walking, climbing the hill was a chore. All in all not a bad choice.From€69

The hotel is very suitable for guests who drive themselves. It takes only a few minutes to drive to the city center. The room is spacious. The breakfast is moderately priced. It is not rich, but it is enough. I personally recommend eating breakfast in the hotel before going out. There is a laundry room equipped with washing and drying equipment. The front desk staff are very warm and polite. Their English level is generally above average in southern France. Especially Cyril, who specifically told us to park the car in the parking lot outside the city. It is affordable and convenient for commuting.From€49

酒店房間很温馨，奶黃色配色，搭配老闆的個人收藏品，衞浴間很温馨，水流很大，我的又長又厚的頭髮也洗的很舒服。設計兼具復古和現代，尤其是洗護用品選用的是法國本土香氛品牌Rose et Marius，提供的茶包也是法國高端線L'infuseur。房間內還配置了有三星的油畫電視、膠囊咖啡機和冰箱。個人覺得酒店主理人非常有品味。
在服務方面，我們遇到的幾位管家都很友善，由於沒有電梯，入住和退房都有人幫我們搬運了行李，非常感謝。就算退房後，也可以免費寄存行李、喝水上廁所，甚至是在酒店餐廳吃我們自己在集上買的水果。酒店有紙質地圖，管家會很熱心的幫忙結合我們的需要介紹小鎮可玩可逛的地方。總之，是一家小而美、服務很讚的酒店。
我們正好遇到週六鎮上很大的集市，有手工藝品、本地特產，水果和鮮花等，很熱鬧。有專門的薰衣草製品的攤位，產品很豐富。
鎮上離酒店不遠，有一家商店專門賣法國本地特產，以調料、茶葉、巧克力、餅乾等本地飾品食品為主，產品均屬於中高端定位，價格不貴，但送禮很拿得出手。商店名字叫 la maison francais.
25年是塞尚紀念的大年份，這裏離塞尚故居不遠（但還是要開車，步行不可到達），鎮上也有一些塞尚的展覽活動，從6.28-10.12。有興趣的朋友可以來。From€150
