Angra dos Reis|1.82km from downtownStayed in this hotel for 6 nights booking 2 rooms for a family of 5 since advertised having kitchens. The hotel is secure and pool area and dining room are nice but the rooms are quite run down although on plus side are quite large. Furniture is very cheap and worn and the sofa ripped. There is no equipment at all (not even a cup and teaspoon) and had to ask for everything. The hotel don't have kettles at all and although state have microwaves, had to ask for one. Also had to ask for some basic things like a bedside lamp. We paid extra for sea view rooms but the picture on the website is not the room you get (and no proper sea view). When we complained we were told their own website was wrong and had quite a frustrating time trying to sort out. We moved to the large suite which actually has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed sleeping 5 but you cant book that for 5 people online. Note the pool is closed one day a week for maintenance and the gym was shut all the time we were there although this was not indicated when we booked either. Like many places in Brazil they do not cater well for vegetarian, vegan, and meat gets added to almost everything. We didn't eat at night for that reason but there is a shopping centre very close by which has a number of restaurants in it. This could be a decent enough hotel but needs some work to bring it up to standard.
