Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights booking 2 rooms for a family of 5 since advertised having kitchens. The hotel is secure and pool area and dining room are nice but the rooms are quite run down although on plus side are quite large. Furniture is very cheap and worn and the sofa ripped. There is no equipment at all (not even a cup and teaspoon) and had to ask for everything. The hotel don't have kettles at all and although state have microwaves, had to ask for one. Also had to ask for some basic things like a bedside lamp. We paid extra for sea view rooms but the picture on the website is not the room you get (and no proper sea view). When we complained we were told their own website was wrong and had quite a frustrating time trying to sort out. We moved to the large suite which actually has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a sofa bed sleeping 5 but you cant book that for 5 people online. Note the pool is closed one day a week for maintenance and the gym was shut all the time we were there although this was not indicated when we booked either. Like many places in Brazil they do not cater well for vegetarian, vegan, and meat gets added to almost everything. We didn't eat at night for that reason but there is a shopping centre very close by which has a number of restaurants in it. This could be a decent enough hotel but needs some work to bring it up to standard.

We went on a couples 4 day trip to rest and enjoy a little bit of summer. The hotel is great, as all Fasano’s are - large room (Deluxe one), with an outstanding large bed, huge bathroom with tub and all conveniences to stay in room if you like (wifi, netflix... all working fine). Food is awesome - breakfast buffet with plenty options, Fasano trattoria at the lobby and outstanding room service. The pool (Marea) is just amazing - lounge music, outstanding service all day long. And the hotel have everything - pro gym, indoor heated pool, an amazing spa... But, at the end, what surprised me was the service - everyone was extremely kind, polite and always wanted to do their best fot you, anytime! Only part that is a little bad is the beach, which is not great, but you can rent a boat and go to several secluded beaches in Angra! Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun!

The hotel is very outdated. The shower is so bad, it's very little water coming out, you take hours to wash your hair. The bed is terrible, you can feel every spring on the mattress. Not recommended. The location is great, you can search for another one nearby.

I stayed here with my two girls recently while waiting for my husband to join us in the area. The staff were very helpful and very patient with our poor Portuguese and different requests. When we had a plumbing issue with the first room, they quickly moved us to a new room, and they were accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. The hotel is very charming, and the small size let us get to know the staff very well. It's a great value for the money. When we extended our stay, we moved to one of the suites, which I highly recommend! There is a fairly big difference between some of the rooms in how updated they are, but it seemed like the staff was happy to show guests a few different rooms if there was availability to do so.

The selling point of this guesthouse is how peaceful it is. The views are stunning and with there only being 6 rooms, it feels like complete tranquillity. The location is also perfect for sunset. All rooms have a sea view. The rooms upstairs offer more privacy and less noise disturbance as they're further away from the kitchen / dining area. There are ample deck chairs and places to enjoy the sun. Staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast is included and there is a select menu to choose from for food during the day. There are also board games on offer, kayaks and paddle boards, and a private pier for boats going to and from Ilha Grande. However, note that no English is spoken by staff, despite this being indicated on other booking sites. We had a few communication issues. Owing to the location, it's likely that guests will be eating all meals at the hotel, and the menu is extremely limited. Uber to and from the town centre is cheap, but might take some time calling a taxi out due to the location. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The setting was very relaxing and we were able to take it easy for a few days.
