No complaints. Seems like a economical place that is clean, with good TV (had premier league football). Neighborhood has lots of little restaurants and coffee shops around. Good transporation options as the main bus station is within walking distance. Bus stop for bus to airport right outside.
Opened in 2022, the Seocho Intoraon Hotel&Residence offers travelers a pleasant stay in Seoul, whether for business or leisure purposes. The hotel is conveniently located just 6km from Yongsan and 20km from Gimpo International Airport. In addition, Nambu Bus Terminal Metro Station is just a short walk away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Patrick Kavanagh Centre, Hanwon Museum of Art and Kepco Electricity Museum all within a short distance. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel.
The hotel is so beautiful. There is a small bed next to a big bed. The oversized round bathtub is super like 💕. I live here every time. Hahaha is very close to the passenger station. It is very convenient to take two steps.
Fixed suite with balcony. The room is large and suitable for taking pictures. The front desk speaks Chinese and the attitude is very good. When I checked in, he told us to arrange the best room in the suite. Indeed, the hotel is very close to subway line 3. Near, five minutes walk, standard Korean breakfast
２ line ２Ｆ has a receptionist, but there is no staff. I happened to have a cleaning aunt at check-in, so I contacted the staff. It may be better to contact the arrival time in advance. ２ ３Ｆ is a room, shared kitchen, rice, kimchi is free on each floor, water server, range, gas range, etc. There is a washing machine in the toilet, only the toilet is jointly equipped with all room showers. Because it is a shape that takes off the soil at the entrance (there is a lower foot box for each room), the building is clean, but the cleaning is not very good. Also, it is power saving, and the lights in the corridor are turned off during the day and night (it is erased immediately even if someone puts it on), so the building feels a bit spicy. The room is a normal key, deposit １０, ０００ｗ at check-in. ２ There is a shower washbasin in the back of a tatami room. Equipment such as refrigerator, stool, shelf is complete, and chairs are available at the desk. There is no amenities other than towel ｘ２ and it will be no choice because it is cheap. Heating is ondol cherry type, but this winter is warm winter, so it was not cold or cold. Ｗｉ－Ｆｉ has a floor, each room and router, radio waves are strong and no problem. Anyway, it's good for those who want to cheap the cost of staying. Because the staff is not stationed, when you check out, you will come to return the deposit, but a little Mendo.
I stayed at Upflo Hostel n Nov 2019 and cannot fault the service of the staff or the quality of the facilities. The room was spacious and really well-equipped, the common space on the top floor was clean, bright and really comfortable to spend time in, the staff were super helpful and the location was very convenient with nearby restaurants, convenience stores and subway links to the rest of Seoul. I would happily stay there again ☺️
The Shuimpyo Hotel Seoul provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Seoul will find that the Shuimpyo Hotel Seoul is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Yongsan just 8km away and Gimpo International Airport only 22km away, transportation is very convenient. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Yangjae Metro Station within walking distance. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Seoul hotel offers parking on site.
Like Shilla Stay, it's not as good as a major hotel, but it's better than nearby hotels. However, the other spots were very clean and good, but the bathtub here also had sticky marks, so I erased it and the thing was broken, but I felt like I didn't check it.
However, the cleanliness and service are satisfactory for the price.
The view of the rooftop pool was really pretty and the water was so warm because it was lukewarm. And since it was built not long ago, it was clean, close to the station, and there were convenience stores and banks nearby, so it was convenient. Above all, the breakfast was so delicious that I ate three bowls. And although there are usually tables, it is difficult to eat inside because they are small, but the large table here was convenient.
The location is very good. It takes 2 minutes to get out of Exit 2 of the subway. If you have luggage, you need to come out of Exit 11. Cross the road is Exit 2. The service attitude of the staff is very good, the room design is reasonable, very comfortable, very satisfied. It is also very convenient to go out and store luggage the next day. It was a very satisfying stay experience.
Just picked up this hotel to refresh myself. It’s a good location where close to public transportation. I asked for a bath tub room in advance when I made to a reservation and they helped me to have a room with a nice bath tub. Interior is amazing and very quiet place. I’d recommend this hotel if you’d like to refresh or healing yourself for a day.
Location was exceptional. Easy access to freeways & many nearby restaurants to choose from.
Staff were pretty friendly but many services were not available by the hotel. Guests will have to reserve & do many things on their own other than checking in & out.
Facilities were okay, parking was a bit inconvenient at times but pretty good with a once a day cost. No large vehicles are allowed in the parking lot but valet is available for outside parking for bigger vehicles.
Hotel maintenance was performed late at night without warning. No power & no internet services were available during this time & the next day. I was unable to attend a meeting due to no internet being down for over 18 hours. With Korea's tech, this was very inconvenient for parking & if you are traveling for work. Something to consider & inquire prior to booking.
We had the room serviced every other day but every time we've asked to have it cleaned, it was still dusty & it seems only restocking & bed was made. Blanket skirt was changed but not the actual blanket & due to its' age, firs were flying everywhere whenever we move. Curtains are not being cleaned at all it seems because when we opened for light & air, it would fall with dusts. Toilet is being cleaned but it just didn't seem clean enough, leaving streaks & etc.
If the rooms can be cleaned better, would definitely stay here every time we visit.
When asked for a quiet room, don't expect to be quiet as you would like. Lots of banging, dropping & moving furniture sound to be expected all hours of the day. There seem to be no regular housekeeping time & it only seems to happen every other day. One day, you'll see a cart going around just pulling bed sheets & towels & one day you'll see them with a vacuum & etc.
This hotel is in a really nice location. Its walking distance to the metro and bus stops and there are multiple resturants around. The is a convience store downstairs that is 24 hours. The staff is really nice and helpful.
The nearest station of the hotel, the Branch 4 Street, is available on the subway ２ and ５. Just leave the Branch 4 Street Station ４ exit and turn right to the alley a little ahead of the convenience store (CU). The ５ floor and ６ floor of the miscellaneous building, which is written as ”Korea Building Korea B.D.G”, are accommodations. This was the first time a solo trip abroad, but I was able to go without hesitation. There is a seikei gawa River near the hotel, and if you walk along the river, there is a shop of the hirozo market (kuangjansijan), and if you walk through the alley, there is a shop of the Yoshiyama general market (pansanchong hassijan) It was fun to walk in the gap time. There was no smell that was concerned, no air dryness hurting my throat, and I was able to sleep at night. (if the weak throat is going to be in the season using air conditioning, it may be better to take drying measures.) Also, there is a water server in the hallway of the hotel I didn't have to buy mineral water at the convenience store and was saved. The shower was large and small and I didn't know how to use it. I couldn't use only one hot water from both. Fixed large shower and small shower that can move freely, both from Davadaba 〜 and hot water. I thought that it would be okay if the hot water came out properly, and I didn't ask the front desk in particular, and I used it as it was, but it was a mysterious specification. If you are concerned, you may want to check it in advance. The front desk was relieved because I had a person who could speak Japanese at check-in and check-out. Thank you for your warm response!
Breakfast is bread, juice, I have a big bed, 2 people can live, there is no toiletries in the room, but there is shower gel, shampoo, kettle in the public kitchen outside, no room inside, room is small, and hotel Not the same, after all, this is a famous place, but the location is very good, in the Myeongdong, the sound insulation effect is good, completely can not hear the noise outside, the front desk brother is also very good, the deposit must be given cash.
This is the most satisfying of my numerous trips to Korea. Great. Especially clean. Especially warm. No matter where I order, I do n’t want to go back. I look forward to going back to rest this time. Don't go out if you can rest more. Will book later. Especially satisfied. Thank you.
the staff its really nice and they always help you the bed was really clean and they give you free towels there is a floor heater so it's really warm and nice for the autumn tea and coffee its free and you can have it all day, and its really close to the subway station so its close to every part of Seoul, I highly recommend this hostel :)
The fifth floor is the lobby, the first to fourth floors are the rooms, and the sixth floor has an observation deck. The rooms are small, and there are separate rooms and shared rooms. The price will double during Christmas. It is only a walk from the Itaewon subway station. Five minutes, the lobby manager will communicate in simple English.
Pros: The room is very clean, the indoor temperature of the heating is just right in winter, the shower system in the bathroom is very convenient, hot water comes out quickly, the bed is small but very comfortable, there are international cuisines to choose from near the hotel, and the milk coffee in the bakery downstairs is good.
Cons: Poor sound insulation. I am very sensitive to sound. I stayed in Room 307 for three nights. At night, I could hear the sound of cars outside the road, the sound of the drainage system, the conversation in the next room, and the alarm in the next room in the morning. , If friends who are afraid of noise choose carefully here. In addition, living in an independent house only includes cleaning once every three days.
very convenient to travel Get up from Euljiro Station (1) ga exit 5, walk through Starbucks and you will see a hotel building, near the hotel there is a 7-11, walk out behind it is Myeongdong area. travel to hongdae Shinchon is convenient, no need to change the line // The staff comes to clean the room every day. When we go to check-in before the time The staff can check in first because there are rooms available. (This is thanks to the staff very much. Because at that time it was super hot 😭) Overall, it's full of 10, so give it 10.
No breakfast, but there are a lot of convenience stores around, don't worry about breakfast. The hotel is not far from the subway station. There is a bus 6002 to the airport. It is very convenient. It takes 20 hours to stand for 1 hour and 50 minutes. If you are in a hurry, don't choose to sit. Bus. The hotel is on a small road, the small road is just a second-hand market, and the whole road is blocked after the taxi enters. The hotel is very new, the decoration style is very modern and clean, and the room has a lot of little luck. There is a computer and wifi in the room, the TV is very big, there is a power cord at the bedside. If you use your own power supply to bring a conversion head, the hotel does not have a disposable toothbrush.
Staying here for the third time, I feel very good. The staff is very warm, breakfast is very early, the location is also very good, the subway station walks 5 minutes, the distance from the 2 subway stations of Myeongdong business district, is very close to the Jingfu Palace Changfu Palace Sanqing Cave, highly recommended!
To be honest, it’s not as bad as the other reviews say. We only booked this initially for our visa but forgot to cancel the booking afterwards. Hence we didn’t have a choice but to stay here. I was at first sad because the reviews at this place were really bad but when I got there, it’s more than what I expected. True that the owner was super strict and a bit weird. He has all the rules - you can’t eat, no slippers, you can’t turn the heater on for more than 2 hours (or you’ll burn down the hotel yikes! Or maybe I didn’t understood what he said well), no stains on the bedsheet, you have to put the dirty towel outside everyday, etc. Also, you have to be on time with the checkin or else you won’t get to see him. I said “weird” because there was an unforgettable encounter, wherein he persistently knocked on our bedroom at 11pm just to inform us that he already put the clean towels at our door (of course I didn’t open it and just wait for him to call cuz me and my sister got scared haha). But overall he seems nice. When it comes to the room itself, if you are not that picky, it’s tolerable. The room we stayed at (for 2 persons) was a bit small. We went here during winter so thank god they had this heater placed under the bed so it kept us warm - if u don’t open it, the place is like a freezer. They also have warm and cold water so it was good enough. As far as I can remember, they don’t have curfew so it worked good for us. They don’t have elevators but they have this crate where you can put your baggages and it will go to your floor automatically. The owner is strict with the time, so at exactly checkout time, his maid comes in the room and will kick you out. The location is VERY great. It’s near the train stations, shopping district, convenience stores, restaurants etc. Overall the place is okay. If I were to go back to Korea with no picky companions, I would stay again in this place as it has a very strategic location.
facilities are decent but not shining like they were a few years ago. rooms are set up efficiently! location is close to eonju subway station — requires transfers and a bit of walking. front desk staff are super nice! and patient. thank you!
The location of the hotel is average. It is said that the surrounding area of Dongdaemun is only about one hour from Dongdaemun to Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. However, the price in Seoul is relatively high, but the hotel is far away. If the pictures are almost lived, it seems that I have not cleaned. I stayed for two nights and did not clean it after returning the next day. There is a bus station near the hotel but the distance is far from the subway station. Generally speaking, it can be better than the place where I lived.
Not near any station, the nearest one have to walk 30 mins, but the service are good ! And room is clean and big except the pillow is really really bad! My neck is like very sore after I slept here for six nights 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
This is a very popular hotel for couples. There is a very popular stretch of restaurants and night life opposite hotel and Lotte Mall is beside the hotel. Room is modern and clean. But it is very small and barely have space to place our luggages. We requested a room facing the road and not the train tracks as we understand from the reviews it can be very noisy at night. I recommend this hotel for 1 night stay for couples.
Insadong ibis, which I caught for one night with my sister and sisters. It was my first time in Ikseon-dong, so I really liked it. My sister and I decided to do it as a hideout. It was small but clean, simple and nice.
I liked this hotel because is very near subway.
The front desk staff speaks very good English.
I loved the toilet because it won’t wet the whole place.
Not like some hotels no shower curtains and even the basin get wet after shower. I highly recommend this hotel.
This is an above average hotel! Parking facilities are convenient and the view is good, so I am satisfied. Instead, it would be better if you only count the water pressure when showering. The water didn't drain well, so it was a little uncomfortable.
The facilities are a bit old. I booked a 58-square-meter room. Does it feel the same as the 47-square-meter room? The area has shrunk a little, or the waiter has not separated the rooms?
It feels like an upgrade from a Samsung hotel, the washing machine and dryer are quite clean. The dishwasher also works, and simple cooking is also convenient.
They charge me 5% for paying with a foreign credit card, just ridiculous. No mention of this surcharge anywhere on their website or hotels application. Welcome visitors from foreign country should be their work but is not. I reported this unlawful behavior. The hostel is overall clean and not in a bad location. There's no blinders for the windows , just useless thin curtains. If you are on a low budget you should consider it.
Actually me and my friends stayed in April 2018. The guesthouse was very clean and gave a welcoming feeling. Although located in Hongdae(but nearer to sangsu station), somehow it wasn’t loud and were able to get a good night’s sleep. Plenty of restaurants and food joints around that open till late night so you don’t have to worry about going hungry in the middle of the night. Adequate amount of bathrooms available on both floors. There are both unisex and women’s bathroom. So ladies who don’t mind staying in a co-ed guesthouse but aren’t fond of the idea of sharing bathroom with the opposite sex, this is the guesthouse for you. Spacious dining area with wall-mounted TV where you can watch youtube videos on. Clean kitchen with breakfast provided. You can cook your own meals too. Water dispenser and fridge available on the top floor so those staying upstairs don’t have to go down just to get food/drinks. Washing machine(no dryer) available for use. Clean towels provided daily. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating. Definitely a place me and my friends will book again.
The hotel is near the Ewha University and the transportation is very convenient. The subway bus can be reached. There are also large large-scale goods stores nearby that can be reached. There are many beauty stores in the surrounding food and beverage outlets. There is a direct access to the Lotte Duty Free Shop Line 2 subway station. The location is very good. But the mattress is not an independent spring, too soft, affecting the quality of sleep
The location of the hotel is a little bit biased, but it is very close to the subway station. It is very good that there is a straight board in the room. This is very like it. The facade of the hotel is a bit small. But the room is still quite big
It is helpful if there is Japanese in the hotel description paper for hotel guests. Important things were also written. The bathrooms were clean and the size of the room was just right. At night, the store closes and becomes dark and scary to walk alone, so it is safe to turn around Seven-Eleven on the main street. The hotel is on your right. I would like to use it again when staying at Dongdaemun. There was ondol and was able to stay warmly and comfortably.
It was the second use, but I was able to stay with great satisfaction this time!
I arrived at the guest house early in the morning because I headed to Korea for a late-night flight, but this time again I had exchanged at Katok and kept my luggage and was very helpful.
Room cleanliness ◎ While there are many geshas that get soaked when taking a shower because the bath toilet is nearby, the toilet and shower are separated, there is no smell of sewage and this price is perfect at this price!
There was a wash basin and it was convenient, and the room was enough to open a big carry bag.
All the managers were kind and kind, and we were able to stay with peace of mind!
I will stay again.
The place was easily accessible via train, just a short walk from Samgakji station (exit 1 or 13). It's also close to the airport bus stop that takes you directly to Incheon Airport - very convenient. It also has a nearby convenience store, and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes so you won't have to worry about where to get lunch or breakfast. Most of the guests I've met there are quite friendly and will give you tips on what to do if it's your first time in the city. They also have a kitchen in the 3rd floor so you can cook your own meals if you feel like it. We sadly didn't get a chance to see the rooftop and the upper floors because we were so tired by the time we returned. The main floor of the guesthouse is on the 2nd floor, including the reception desk, and you have to climb a steep set of stairs to get there which proved quite challenging when most of their guests are carrying huge luggages - no handrails btw, so you have to be careful. I was carrying a collective weight of 20kgs when I first arrived and had to get help from Johnny as it was impossible for me to do it myself. With its popularity among travelers comes the obvious problem of it being fully packed with people, which can get chaotic when everybody wants to use the showers at once. The place is a little small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around in once all the guests arrive and are buzzing about.
