Staffs were friendly and helpful. we enjoyed the welcome drinks given after a long drive. the room was squeaky clean and spacious. Unfortunately i cant see any sea view eventhough my booking was for deluxe seaview. Kids enjoyed the pools very much. And the beach also. Breakfast buffet offered variety of foods. Even their sambal also varied. overall we love park royal and definitely will repeat in the future.

Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff member who attended to me was genuinely warm and accommodating. I was also given a late checkout, which made my stay even more relaxing. One thing I really enjoyed was the welcome cookie. It’s such a nice and thoughtful touch, especially when welcome drinks have become quite boring and predictable. The cookie felt unique and memorable. The lobby is spacious and inviting, with a beautiful view that immediately puts you in a good mood. My room was clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. Not long after I settled in, the hotel called to check if I needed anything. When I requested a toothbrush, they sent it up very quickly. The service throughout my stay felt attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. There were plenty of choices and the staff were always nearby to help. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The gym is nice, well maintained and has a great view. The pool area is spacious, relaxing and perfect for winding down. Overall, I had a truly pleasant stay at DoubleTree Hilton Batu Ferringhi. Hard Rock - Pleasant stay. Getting a superb experience from the Lagoon room. It is an amazing experience with the pool just in front of your room deck. Head into the pool for a swim anytime and back to the deck to chill on the bench. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, on the contrary, it is a bit disappointing on the concierge side as there is a contrast if comparing the two. Breakfast is great. A lot of selection and food is holding up its quality. However, the decorations and renovations seem to be a bit ‘outdated’, but not sure if this is intentional. The pool and surrounding facility are great as well, with the beach feel with sand on the floor surrounding the pool. There are sections of the pool which have sand as well. One thing to take note of is they have lifeguards on duty.

I had a delightful two-night stay at Shangri-La Penang! The lush greenery and big old trees provided lovely shade, creating a relaxing atmosphere while I sit near the pool or beach. The beach offered nice sunset view, but I am unsure if it’s swimmable We stayed in the Rasa Wing room, which came with lounge access and complimentary cocktails in the evening. The staff were warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. While the hotel shows some age, it’s clear they’re working hard to maintain everything. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway, and recommend 👍🏻 Our Rasa Garden room had some water flow / plumbing noises (from the ceiling), even when we are not using the bathroom. Not sure if it’s because of old age building / old building design.

Overall the stay was good. The hotel is very close to the sea. The room is spacious. But it overlooks the hallway so the curtains should be closed all the time. Breakfast was included but i got it only the first day. The next day they said they are out of it. When i arrived there was nobody at the reception and the door was locked so i couldn’t let my stuff there and had to carry with me.

The room has two bedrooms and one living room. The sofa in the living room can be used as a bed. It can accommodate up to 6 people. The landlord will inform you of the accommodation details by email, and you can call the housekeeper on the same day. She will arrange check-in and parking at the door, and take you to the room to introduce the details. A deposit of 100RM is required for each key and access card. You need to swipe the card to enter the building and enter and exit the beach. The security is very good. The room has complete tableware, and you can cook simple meals. There is also an oven. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. Summer clothes will dry in a short time. There are many hangers, and you should bring your own laundry detergent. There are no extra towels for the swimming pool and beach downstairs. The sand on the beach at the door is slightly rough. It will be finer and less crowded after passing the long embankment to the west. There are basically no shells to pick up on the beach. The night market along the street is very lively, and it is like an empty city during the day.

You have to pay an extra RM20 for one youngster to share a bed with the parents. My son is only four years old. No towel. The mattress is very spongy and not comfortable at all. It was noisy at night, and I heard something walk across the roof. Monkeys? Rats?? The owner was pleasant and attentive.

I used it while traveling alone. The type of outlet didn't suit me so the charger I brought with me wouldn't work, but they quickly provided a replacement. I rented one room out of several buildings (houses), and the facilities were all clean. The other guests were quiet so I was able to use it without any problems, and it was very satisfying as it was reasonable compared to the price.

The villa's ambiance and decor are quite nice, with a refrigerator and microwave. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, but the soundproofing is poor. I didn't get a good night's rest after two days. We stayed in the master bedroom on the second floor, which has a bathroom. The other rooms had music playing outside on the first day, and the children were playing and making noise on the second day. It seemed like the door couldn't be locked, and I wasn't sure if it was locked, as it could be opened directly from the inside.

Everything seemed fine. The apartment was clean and spacious, with everything you need. It was close to the beach, and there were cafes, shops, a bus stop, and a bike rental office nearby. However, the TV didn't work, and we needed it for YouTube. When we asked the manager to let us stay for half an hour so we wouldn't have to wait at the stuffy bus stop, she refused. For that, I'm deducting a point. And! The apartment isn't as bright as the photos; it's more like my photos, which were taken at 1:00 PM, not 7:00 PM.

For our trip to Escape Theme Park, this accommodation was perfect! (Location wise) The host thoughtfully switched on the air conditioner and lights before our arrival, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. The spacious layout more than enough for our group of 3 families (10 people in total). The photos shown accurately reflect the unit. Cleanliness was spot-on, and the most impressive part was the bed comfort, it was of excellent quality. All the pillows smelled fresh, and everything was well-prepared. The only minor was the RM500 deposit, which is only returned 3 to 5 days after checkout, and I had to send a reminder to the host on the 6th day. I'm used to receiving the deposit back the day after checking out. However, this did not affect our stay at all, overall, it was a great experience with the unit! Most importantly, thanks to the Trip platform for the worthwhile promo price!
