Second time at the Agla hotel but this time stayed in the lovely Villa which is private and framed by the stunning frangipani tree. We were there for a week and had a lovely time. Modern bathroom and a small kitchenette. Initially there was a smell of cat wee outside our door but as we kept the cats away after we arrived, this soon disappeared. Comfortable beds and nice little table and chairs outside to have evening drinks and play cards, as we did ! A dish cloth or brush would have been useful but they are not provided and you need to bring your own tea towel and a corkscrew for the wine. The convenience shop is now across the road and is very handy, Anna in the shop is a delight and so welcoming. The breakfast buffet is much the same with a good assortment, the Danish pastries are particularly delicious ! This hotel is good value but in my view is three star.

Would highly recommend this hotel, we visited when the Thomas cook fiasco happened and honestly we had heard so many horror stories about other hotels that we were dreading what laid ahead of us but I can’t praise the hotel and especially the staff who asked us were we ok and could they help in any way, Kaliopi was a ray of sunshine in the buffet area and so too was the boss who both made our holiday special as they would go above and beyond to make it feel we were the only ones there!, bar staff were amazing and by the end of the holiday they had even memorised what we were drinking and would just bring our drinks over, excellent location as only approx 25 minute stroll into Rhodes town centre, rooms were clean and tidy.

Our visit to this hotel was in October 2019. There was a bit of a wait to check in, but once that had been done, finding our rooms was easy. We had booked two rooms, and despite us travelling together, we were given rooms at opposite ends of the hotel, not a good start. I also discovered that the door lock on my room was faulty, and that the room was not locking properly, however after informing reception, they did send up an engineer to fix it, it was repaired that night. The room also had a safe. You need to leave a deposit to use it, but you get that back when you check out. We were staying in the cheaper non-balcony rooms, which were quite small, but for single travellers ideal. The room was clean and tidy, and included a toilet, and very small shower. Housekeeping would come in every day and tidy up the beds and clean. My room was overlooking the fuel station outside the hotel, and I was on a lower floor, so there was some noise, but luckily it was not too bad during my stay. I would also sometimes get noise coming from the corridor outside, but this is not the fault of the hotel. It is worth noting that even though we were on what they called the “First Floor” there is a “half floor” between the ground floor and the first, this floor contains facilities such as the business centre and the like, and acts like a sound buffer between the first layer of rooms, and the noisier ground floor with the bar and restaurant. The hotel had a lift which worked, but with being on such a low floor, I just used the stairs. Breakfast was ok; a basic continental breakfast with the added option of bacon, eggs and beans, amongst other things. I tried to make a cup of tea using the machine on the first day, but I thought that it had a very chemically taste, perhaps they just needed to clean their machine? They also have apple, grapefruit and orange juice on offer. The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool. On site there was also a small mini-market, selling things such as snacks and drinks, this was very useful for purchasing bottles of water to take to your room at night. The hotel also features spa and massage facilities; however I did not use any of them. During one of the evenings, they had performers playing music in the pool area; this was quite enjoyable to listen to. It was nice to get some drinks from the bar, and sit beside the pool listening to the live music. It was Thursday night if I remember correctly. The site had free wifi which worked well for me; I found it more than adequate for my needs. Check out time is at noon; however they have luggage storage facilities which you can use for free. The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Rhodes Town; nearly everything is within walking distance. You can also cross the road to visit the nearby beaches; I strongly recommend visiting the local pier, it is good to sit and watch the sea.

I spent 7 days in this hotel by the end of September ...first of all ,the locaion of the hotel is very good , in 15 miniutes I could get to Mandraki harbour .There are a lot of tavernas around the hotel ,the beach Psarapoula is over the street ,full of small pebbles ..there is a bus station not very far fom Diagoras monument . I received a room on the second floor ,overlooking the swimming pool area...not very pretty ,but it was quiet .I had an excellent holidays ,the girls at the reception were very kind and answered to all my questions . The Wi fi was perfect ,the air conditioning was ok ,only the bathroom was tiny ,old and uncomfortable ,it must be updated ,they don't give shampoo .Breakfast was good and varied .I couldn't sleep very well because of tourists who came after midnight from town ,disturbing people ...The tv set in my studio was very old , it had only five or six channels working in different languages ...didn't like it at all.I used a taxi to get to the airport .

My name is Michael Felgate.. I stayed here during the Greek lockdown of November 2020. The owners were so helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was spacious, spotless and had an incredible view over the Aegean Sea, Symi and the Turkish mainland. Lockdown did not matter as it meant spending plenty of time in this place. The Sunrise Luxury Apartments are located opposite the beach and just around the corner from Elli beach, the most popular in Rhodes Town. It is a short walk into the town where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and takeaways (vital during lockdown) All in all it was a pleasure to stay here and hope to do so again.

We spent two weeks here as a couple and really enjoyed our stay. Normally only stay on bed and breakfast basis but hard to achieve in Rhodes in the location we wanted to be in. Having said that the food and indeed drink were plentiful and there was always a choice of cuisine across all the different venues. We didn't make full use of our "all inclusive " as we like to explore a country. So we hired a car for our stay and went out to eat every other day whilst exploring the island. On the evenings we stayed at the hotel the entertainment was great although mostly tribute acts who I must say were really professional and very entertaining. A particularly great trio played at the beach a couple of days a week and they were fabulous. Would we go again, probably not, but would recommend if you want a good value family holiday.

We stayed on 31st October for 1 week, which turned out to be the last week the hotel was open for the end of season. You couldn’t tell it was closing week, the staff and service were incredible and they didn’t relax on anything. The hotel had its own app for everything! You could order your drinks to come to your sun longer, you could schedule your room clean, you could book treatments at the spa, book your space at the gym and much more!! We did use the app and it was really useful. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that had an app with as much functionality as this hotel, very forward thinking. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was very clean on arrival and was cleaned every couple of days online with COVID measures - which is actually better as I don’t think you need your room cleaning everyday on holiday. But if you did need anything on your non-cleaning days you could request it in the app i.e. towel change, extra toilet roll, shower gels etc.. Super comfy beds! The hotel itself was quiet, closing week or COVID I’m not sure. But that was amazing as it meant we had lots of space and not too many people around. The weather was also excellent and sunny every day. The safety measures put in place to be COVID secure were great. Hand sanitiser around the hotel, on your table in the restaurant and a complimentary bottle and some masks in your room on arrival. The restaurant was counter service by the staff instead of help yourself, this again was much better. The staff were knowledgeable on the food and their English was excellent to explain what the foods were (and also what you were asking for). I enjoyed going to the restaurant each morning and evening as the staff were lovely. I think I spent more time talking to the staff than sat eating with my boyfriend ;) It was my birthday whilst we were there, so I made a stack of Nutella and banana pancakes from the buffet foods. There was such a variety of food every day and something for everyone. Most mornings I had an omelette made by the chef, his omelettes were delicious. We hired a car from the hotel and visited a few places around the island. We also did lots of walking and running. The weather was great for the first week of November so tshirt and shorts every day. I also had a full body massage and facial at the hotel spa, my therapist (Anastasia) was fabulous! After a week in the sun she repaired my skin. We had a really enjoyable stay and felt that we were 100% looked after. I would recommend this hotel to couple, families or anyone travelling on their own. Thank you Apostolos and your incredible team.

Wow! What a holiday. We stayed in the suites side of the Ixian Grand and it was amazing. Our own restaurant for breakfast with a view of the sea. This suite only restaurant also had a 4 course dinner menu which we were allowed to attend unlimited times. Amazing. Our room was great, had its own swimming Pool. Only downfall in the room would be that it didn't have a long mirror. We ate in all four restaurants and the 7 course seafood restaurant was amazing. Could not fault the food here one bit. The swimming pool for everyone was huge and never packed, always easy to get a sunbed round the pool too. We visited the water park which was great. Evening entertainment was not great, it really would be an amazing hotel if the entertainment was to improve. We did speak to some people who stayed in the hotel and not the suites and it did sound like they were having a completely different holiday. So I would advise if you can afford to stay in a suite, there seems to be a lot more extras that way. Staff really friendly. Had a great holiday, Thanks Ixian Grande

To risky it was to fly straight on different tickets, so one night in Rhodos sounds more comfortable. Decided for the Lydia Hotel while checking places right in the old town and not far from the beaches and the main attractions. It fit`s!. Arrival at Rhodos airport, taxi shuttle for Rhodos town is on a fixed fare. Ok, not cheap, but no discussions this way. At the hotel around noon, some minutes to wait for the room at the top floor. Worth it, a large bed, spacious and to the rear part of the hotel. Also the bathroom nice and everything works right well. Had a good sleep there. Breakfast is served as a buffet, also nice and possible to do it at the open terrace, usually the place for the smokers, but enough space also for me here. Back for the airport on the fixed far and it also works.. Definitely a nice place to be in Rhodos town.

We arrived slightly fraught at 3am after a delayed flight from Manchester and check in was very quick and efficient. After reading other reviews, I knew we had to pay for air conditioning so wanted to arrange that immediately. The lovely gentleman who checked us in told us that he would switch it on for us and just come and arrange payment once we had slept. The hotel as a whole is one of the cleanest that we have stayed in. Towels were changed daily, the bathroom and room cleaned efficiently. WiFi connection was very good. Our beds were firm, but very comfortable, and similar to our own at home. The shower was powerful with plentiful hot water. Like any hotel, there is never quite enough space for your toiletries, but that’s just a niggle. It’s about a 10 minute stroll to the old town and the beach which made this hotel an ideal one for us. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, supermarkets are plentiful if you fancy a bottle of wine on the balcony and despite there being three restaurants within yards of the hotel, it never got really noisy. Our room faced the street and it was nice to watch people coming and going. There was always a good selection for breakfast with hot and cold options, Greek yogurt, fruit, cereals, cakes. I loved what I called the ‘surprise pie’ which was different every day - one day was mushrooms, bits of bacon, eggs and slices of sausage. It was delicious. Special thanks must go to Pedros and the ladies who cooked breakfast. A true gentleman who greeted everyone cheerfully, ran things so efficiently, and treated everyone with the utmost courtesy. Small niggles (and they are very small, hence the four stars in my review): Our key cards would stop working on a regular basis so we would have to go to reception to get them reactivated. As in any other hotel abroad, our passports were taken from us on arrival. What did worry me slightly was that they were put in a drawer which didn’t appear to be locked. How easy is this for someone to gain access to them? We were told that they would be returned to us the next day but I realised three days later that they hadn’t been returned so had to ask for them. You have to make your own bed. The bottom sheet was either straightened or replaced but the top sheet and cover were folded and placed at the foot of the bed each day. The sheets were a bit too short for the size of the bed. Lighting along the corridor to our room was non existent until the last couple of days of our holiday. You have to pay for air conditioning. In a country where temperatures can reach the high 20s or mid 30 degrees, it’s essential to those of us not used to such temperatures. It could easily be added to the cost of the room without a massive rise in price. The hotel website states that there is a roof terrace, tea and coffee making facilities are in every room. None of these were available. Our room didn’t have a fridge and it was 3 days before one appeared and this was only after conta

We stayed for two nights at this hotel and it was a great choice. Rhodes in October is very busy and very hot so it was lovely to come back to this (relatively) secluded haven after a day of sightseeing. Nino was extremely helpful – he met us at the gate with a baggage trolley to navigate us to the hotel. He also made some great restaurant bookings for us. On our last day, Nino let us use one of our rooms after we had checked out which was very kind of him. I stayed in the Crusader suite and my friend stayed in the Pasha suite. Of the two, I think the Pasha was a little better because it had an external window with a view. The Crusader’s windows were up too high to see much out of them (and I actually would have liked curtain on them because they ended up letting in a lot of light so I needed to sleep with a sleeping mask on). The courtyard area really made the hotel: you feel like you are in a green oasis with the sound of water and not much else. That was beautiful spot for breakfast and to read in the afternoon. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Despite us arriving past midnight due to a flight delay, we received a warm welcome from Stefano who spoke English very well and was efficient in dealing with us and briefing us on the necessary information required for our stay. Auberge 32 is sufficiently close to key attractions but far enough away to retain its calm ambience. The room was clean and comfortable and was equipped with a shower, wall mounted TV, air-conditioning unit , fridge and had sufficient power points for our camera and phone chargers. The room was cleaned daily and looked as fresh as it was on day one. A lovely gesture of a complimentary bottle of water on day one was provided. The breakfast provided by Olga was very generous. It consisted of cheese and ham toasties (advise Stefano in advance of breakfast if you are vegetarian etc and at what time you would like it, between 8-10 am), cereal, greek yoghurt with honey, french bread with apricot jam and coffee with a little teapot of milk. It saw us through to lunch time. We received the same breakfast every day, not a criticism but a small change,( i.e. different jam) could make the breakfast less repetitive. We chose to take our trays upstairs to the terrace where we enjoyed the sight and sound of the clock tower ringing - a truly romantic setting. Auberge 32 is a small intimate hotel and it suited us down to the ground. We got more of a personal touch from the hotelier, Stefano who is willing to share knowledge of the local area. If I find myself in Rhodes again, I would definitely return to Auberge 32 - it fulfilled all our requirements.

We have had a wonderful experience staying in this hotel. For our first time on this island, we were not sure where to stay. We had good luck in selecting such a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Right away we felt a warm hospitable environment, like we were part of a big family. Always greeted with a smile!!! The rooms were clean and new from renovation. The morning breakfast was fulfilling and tasty. The hotel is located in a perfect location. Away from the crazy loud confusion, but still close enough for fun, drinks, cafe, and restaurants all by foot. It is even easy to drive to and from the hotel to any destination one may have in mind. There is no doubt that we will definitely visit this hotel again. We loved the quality of service and the warm environment. The family is wonderful!!

Amazing value for the view. Apartment was fine, everything you needed, and very comfy beds. OK, bit of noise from youngsters enjoying themselves at night, but nothing to worry about. Very good local restaurants, including the one below the apartment. Beach directly opposite with loungers and umbrellas, but head left for secluded rocky coves within walking distance. Loads to see in Rhodes, recommend the archeological museum, 10 euro ticket which includes the Palace of the Grand Master.

Three years ago we stayed in this hotel, and the fact that we returned proves that we were very satisfied then. This time also. The whole staff (reception, cleaners, waiters in the breakfast-room and at the bar) is very friendly and forthcoming. The room provided everything we needed: the necessary space, decorated with taste, a very modern bathroom, a nice view on the swimming pool, a balcony, coffee and tea facilities, daily towel service... Breakfast was excellent: choice between sitting inside or outside, wide variety of food (bread, cereals, sweets, fruits, every day a different preparation of eggs etc.) reasonably good fruit juice and coffee (even the possibility to make yourself a genuine Greek coffee!), and sometimes extras such as pancakes or baklava. The situation of the hotel is an important plus: quiet, yet near the beach and a 10 minutes walk to Rhodos' main attraction, the Old Town (choice between an stroll along the tourist harbor or a walk through the modern town). Since we had a late flight home, we were offered the possibility to use the 'shower room' in the late afternoon. This appeared to be a part of the sauna in the basement, quite unappealing, uncomfortable and even no warm water - disappointing: for us the difference between a 4 and 5 rating! Still, the overall experience (including the price) was very good, and should we return to Rhodos, we would not hesitate to choose Aquamare again.

The Hotel is undergoing an upgrade and name change soon to be the Horizon Blu, Just hope they keep the great staff we have met over the years especially Maria from the horizon who we met 4 yrs ago when we honeymooned at the Rhodos Horizon hotel now the sister hotel to the Kipriotis, she never forgets our anniversary!! luckily for her that her Birthday falls the same month whilst we are there otherwise we would be forced into going a third time each year just to celebrate with her, great receptionist who speaks 6 or 7 languages! a real asset to any company and a very helpful caring person! also many thanks to Avianne who is always very helpful especially as the hotel restoration was well underway during our stay! I hope they leave some of the character of the hotel and Not Too BRIGHT! like the Rhodos Horizon please keep some ambience in the bar area, Talking of bars! Great cocktails Johan & a great Lime & Soda my friend Lol ( private joke) so to Poppy in the shop my Aussie/Greek Friend answer "B" still laughing. IN A NUTSHELL: Very clean, very reasonable. Daily housekeeping. Friendly staff willing to accommodate needs. Wifi is fantastically good. Easy retrieval of stored luggage. Excellent air conditioning. Much information provided ie: places to eat. ARRIVAL & CHECKING OUT: As soon as we had climbed the stairs, a cheery hello welcomed us. On retrieving our information, we were shown to our room. When leaving, our luggage was stored in a locked room. THE HOTEL & ROOM PARTICULARS. Steep stairs, not unusual in the tight spaces of the old town, lead to an immaculately clean room with double bed, plenty of linens, a small fridge, wardrobe, several places to plug in chargers (only while you are in the room). The bathroom has a window overlooking a medieval street wide enough for one car. Its shower is a handheld unit with a floor drain. Refreshing to rinse off the grime of travel. Outside our door are a couple of benches overlooking the neighbourhood. MISCELLANEUS: THE OLD TOWN Taxis are not permitted on the narrow streets of this medieval town contained inside a fortress. Our driver brought us to within no more than 200m of the hotel and gave us clear instructions for the rest of the way. We were left to bring our own luggage along cobbled streets. Easy with only carry on luggage. We have chosen to travel light, and this three week long trip is no exception. With a large suitcase, you would be more challenged. Definitely not “wheel-chair accessible”.

Have spent one of the best weeks holiday in a long while. All the staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and want to make sure you are happy - from arriving to positive front of house & bellhops onward. The room was spotless, the staff brilliant - another towel (long hair) no problem, 2 pool towels not a problem - and they were always smiling! The food was excellent at dinner - I was on half board (not usual for me) yet the Michael could not have been lovelier - offering alternatives which weren't on the menu when it was something I couldn't eat through to choosing a table where I could eat and read my book (single travellers there was not the usual tucking us out of the way at a bad table or making one feel out of place because we were just one. Brilliant!) Pool is super - whilst I know I've been at the end of their season, the pool area was spacious and well furnished, with the actual pool stunning - never was there anyone else in there with me. (Maybe the other guests also liked the feeling of it being their "own pool". Easy walking into either the old town, new town or the coast (good, safe walking). Again a must for the single female traveller who likes to explore. I must give a massive amount of praise to the spa team and particularly the hairdressers - I arrived in a mess and by day 5 was the best I felt in years! Never been brave enough to have my hair done away before - but the hairdressers who have the contract with the hotel were superb. Long way to come for a cut, colour & highlights but even if it was just a blow dry to make one feel special. Finally, one of the best check-out/late leave operations I've had in a while - none of the "extra" charge sharing a "checkout room" with a given time slot, you use the spa facilities: showers, lockers for handbags/etc, hairdryers, fluffy towels and lovely products so you swan out to meet your airport taxi feeling great. I would highly recommend. My only areas for improvement and advice to fellow travellers are: > Breakfasts: Whilst good choice most hotels I've stayed at of this standard offer "to order" item, such as soft boiled, poached or fried eggs for example. Plus the cereal choice was limited (3). The toasters were annoying as there was no "eject" button. Things do get cold very quickly from serving dish to table. > Rooms: rear rooms 1st floor and near to lift a no-no if you're a light sleeper > Music (pool area for sure): same loop each day

Booked this hotel around 6 weeks ago and was 1 of the cheapest hotels in Rhodes. Hotel is a minute away from the beach which has some amazing sunsets over looking the bay and across to southern Turkey. The hotel is in a good location with a bus stop just a couple oh hundred yards from the hotel and very cheep to get in to town. A taxi was only €7 to the centre of Rhodes. When checking in to the hotel temperature is checked and check in is very quick. Very nice girl on the reception and was very helpful calling me a taxi and sorting out my transfer back to the airport. My room was 106 on the first floor at the back of the hotel. No view as such but you don’t spend a week in the room. I had the sun on my balcony of a morning and shade of an afternoon. The room was very spacious, the air con was a dream as it was scorching hot outside and like a fridge in the room. The room had a flat screen tv which I did not use and a fridge. There was a safe but did not use. Due to COVID the room was cleaned once during my stay but the towels was changed daily. There was 3 swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers to go around. Plenty of chairs and tables around the bar area. The bar staff are great and it’s like they can’t do enough for you. There is very little rubbish laying about on the floor the bar staff are always walking around picking up empty cups. The food was ok with plenty to choose from with different meats and fish, pasta, rice and chips. Good selection on the breakfast menu with hot and cold food. Due to COVID there was screens up with a waiter serving the food up for you. Plenty of seating outside to eat and dine in a relaxing manor enjoying the evening. There was entertainment every other night with various music and karaoke once a week. There was plenty of different drinks on the menu with a good selection of cocktails on the all inclusive which finished at 23:00 as well as a large selection of cocktails and drinks you could buy. I had a fantastic week at this hotel and a hotel I would recommend. The staff make you feel like your at home.

We spent 13 days at 7 Palms this summer with our 2 children, aged 11 and 4. The hotel was brilliant, ideally located within walking distance of Zephyros beach which we found was used mainly by locals rather than tourists and was great for the children to swim in the sea there (also the beds are cheap and plentiful!) There are also lots of really good and reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, Domy gave us some recommendations for places to go and all of them were superb. To walk into the Old Town itself took us around 20/25 mins. It's an easy, flat walk through the residential neighbourhood and our youngest managed it with no problems. Aside from the Old Town, we took excursions to Lindos and Symi, both of which were great. The bus to Lindos leaves from near to the hotel and Domy organised the Symi trip for us which included transfers to and from the harbour in the Old Town. There are a number of supermarkets close by to the hotel, less than 5 mins walk. We were able to find everything we needed for the few occasions that we used the self catering facilities in the room - usually after a busy day sightseeing. We stayed the ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom/kitchen facilities were great. The children loved being able to swim in the pool everyday and we enjoyed watching them whilst relaxing on a lounger! Domy and Mrs Katerina really made the experience special. They were always ready to greet us with a smile and a friendly chat; they really made us feel at home. Domy was really helpful with suggestions of places to visit and to eat whilst Mrs Katerina kept our room spotless. We also sampled one of her delicious homemade breakfasts and would definately recommend!

Historic building with quirky, unique rooms. This place is a feast for the eyes. They have put unique antiques all over the place which perfectly fits into the Old Town. I loved that. Marieanne, like everyone mentions, what a treat it was to meet her. Everything she recommended was excellent and bang on. She speaks multiple languages and she genuinely cares about her guests. What a lovely person she is. She arranged our airport pick up, she set us up with a private guide as well. We miss her already! If you are going to Rhodes and want the history. Do stay in the Old Town. It is an amazing place to explore. This boutique hotel is a perfect. It is just blocks from the main tourist street and the historic walls and palace. Even an easy downhill walk into the new town. The included breakfast was great. You order from a menu which we loved. The staff in the restaurant are very attentive and polite. Leaving today after a fantastic week. Great location on the edge of old town, a 5 minute walk to be in the bustle of things. Rare to find a place in such a central location with a nice pool area and reasonable rate! All of the staff were friendly and just superb! Food and drink is not a bad price at all, the cocktails are actually nice! Our room was spacious, with a living room and double balcony. Really clean, and a good daily service. Kitchenette is nice but no toaster, grill or oven. Bathroom is fine, it's not a power shower or anything fancy but more than does the job. Free air con and a safe is a rare and great addition. As is the adjoining supermarket where you can pick up cheap water etc. Beds were clean and comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows available in the cupboard. One negative is the noisy kitchen chairs, we had no room above us but I can imagine you would hear the people above as they move them! I 100% recommend if you're coming to rhodes, and If we return I would stay again. Make sure to visit Symi, and enjoy your stay!

We have been holding onto this review for a while, constantly forgetting to write it..but the stay we had at Trinity was so wonderful and worthy of praise, that 9 months later we couldn't forget. Hotel is gorgeous, great rooms, spacious, well renevated. Hosts are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is nice. The location is perfect for getting anywhere in Old Town. Our stay here couldn't have been better, this place deserves all the praise it can get.

Another wonderful vacation at Zacosta. It has been a pleasure to see Zacosta evolve from a three-bedroom to six-bedroom villa over the past 10 years, whilst never compromising on quality, cleanliness and attention to detail. Zacosta offers a superb relaxing quiet oasis just seconds away from the exciting atmosphere of the medieval old town. As previous reviews have said, John is the Jewel in the crown; a true gentleman and such a friendly host that you can’t fail to be glad you booked to stay here. John picked us up on arrival and also kindly dropped us off at the port for our trip to Symi and again picked us up on our return. Nothing is too much trouble and John is so relaxed that you chill-out too! The extra personal touches such as a welcome bottle of wine, towels folders ornately, Korres toiletries and fresh, tasty cuisine in the pretty courtyard are amongst a few of the qualities, which set Zacosta head and shoulders above the rest. Thanks to John and Edrene for your hospitality and for making our Ruby Wedding celebrations so special! Efharisto. Until we meet again Kevin and Diane May

During these difficult covid times, it was with a bit of hesitation that we booked a last minute holiday to Castellum Suites All Inclusive. It was a great price for a newly refurbished hotel within a very short walk of the old town. The lovely, quite spacious room had a balcony (with a small table plus 2 chairs) and a modern bathroom with a good size shower (bring your own toiletries). The smart tv meant that we were able to log into our Amazon Prime account to watch films (there was also a Netflix button). The room, and in fact the whole hotel, was wonderfully clean, even though the hotel said that the room would be cleaned less frequently due to the covid restrictions. As many have mentioned, there was a lack of hangers (only 4) and no drawers, just a large counter over the fridge and another section next to it. There was plenty of room to include a chest of drawers (plus possibly a chair) and would make a great addition. There was also a small safe in the room - no charge. The large bed was actually 2 singles pushed together. For our liking, the bed was rather too firm (as were the pillows) but it was great realising that they were brand new. The food was pretty much as you would expect for All Inclusive and we always found something that we quite liked though unfortunately, it was often warm, rather than hot, as there didn't appear to be any burners/heating below (or above) it . It was buffet style, except that the staff served you, which worked ok. However, at the beginning of our holiday, all the restaurant tables were outside, which is good from a covid point of view, but it caused problems for us as we can't stand the smell of smoke. (Although the inside of the hotel is non-smoking, it is permitted outside in the restaurant area, on balconies and around the pool.) When the weather threatened to deteriorate, a number of the tables were brought inside, which benefitted us. As regards the bar, it's not clear what is actually included free, beyond the choice of 4 cocktails which are advertised on the counter. The drinks did appear to be of quite good quality, although they were local rather than brand names. It should be mentioned that the staff wore masks (for the majority of the time) and did remind customers of the fact that wearing them was compulsory in the hotel. However, there some people around who did not appear to be complying with this - possibly contractors working in the hotel? (A bigger poster reminding people to wear a mask in the very small lifts would be handy. There is one right next to the lift reminding people how to stay covid safe but it's a bit small.) The staff were hard working, friendly and wanted to make sure that everyone had a good holiday.

Nice clean rooms, very kind and friendly hosts and fairly good food at an affordable price. Sheets and towels are changed every day. Also room is cleaned every day. Room doesn't have many hangers and similar stuff for hanging beach towels. Also there are not many drawers for the wardrobe, but that is not a big deal if you stay for a short period. It would be nice that brekfast sometimes include some of the local food products and appetizers which would make breakfasts more diverse, therefore making this lovely hotel to stand out from man other similar hotels.

Was able to check in early following a night boat trip: priceless! Everyone I interacted with was professional and smiling. Small room with a good size bathroom (room 46). I had a good night of sleep on a good mattress. The hotel is centrally located and I found nearby all that I needed barbershop, restaurants, supermarket, etc... I was happy with my stay!

Let's get the thorns out of the way first. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is hot water. The only source is a solar heater with a rather small reservoir that suffices for max 2 consecutive showers. Then, out of the blue, cold water and one must wait for 2 hours. Another detail is the lack of shampoo and shower gel which we sourced locally. This was a real surprise compared to the rest of the amenities. The good stuff... Great apartment with every appliance one may need. Good quality linen and mattresses for a pleasant sleep. Coffee and tea capsules included. And a fruit basket and a bottle of wine as a welcome treat. Please do something for the shower issue. Cover this and TripAdvisor should add a couple of stars more! As for the rest, great place for a family, any

We stayed here Sep 2018, B&B it’s a nice small hotel in a good area, plenty of shops restaurants & bars to choose from, rooms were cleaned everyday fresh linen & air-con in the room was good. Staff were very polite & helpful & were available 24/7 should you need assistance. Elli beach is just 2 min walk from the hotel. Bar street with bars & clubs is only 5 minute walk from the hotel, We could not here any noise from Bar street at the hotel at night. We stayed bed & breakfast & the food was good, we liked to eat out so we did not have to rush down in the mornings, We did eat at the Alexandra restaurant some evenings, which is part of the hotel it has a nice atmosphere and it serves tasty food. It is about 20 min walk to the lovely old town & about 15 min walk to Mandraki Harbour, it does get hot during the day so bottle of water hat & sun cream recommended. For the price this hotel is great if you’re on a budget, cheap, friendly, nice atmosphere, good location. I would stay at this hotel again nice hotel.

Me and my friend stayed in Rhodes for one week at Amaryllis hotell, and we had a wonderful stay. The staff is super friendly, and the rooms are very clean. Its super well located, its a 2 minute walk to the beach or to bar-street. There is a lot of good places to eat right by the hotell, but our favorite spot was the hotells own resturant, they have so much good food and drinks. (The best strawberry Daquiri in all of Rhodos). We really enjoyed our stay here, and we will be back!

We spent a week in Rhodes staying in Casa Antica’s beautiful Van Gogh room. The house is in a quiet pedestrian street but only a few steps away from where taxis will drop you off or pick you up. It’s close to the beaches and only about 15 minutes’ walk to the old town. It’s also close to various restaurants and just a couple of minutes away from the nearest small supermarket. Our apartment was clean with very comfortable beds and there was plenty of hot water for showers. There’s also a small terrace where you can sit and relax. The apartment has a main bedroom with the bathroom off it, a second single bedroom and a kitchenette linking the two. The kitchenette is small but sufficient for preparing breakfast and simple meals. However, there is only room for a small table and two chairs because the fourth bed is also in the room. The AC unit is located in the kitchenette which, as some other reviewers have commented makes it less effective in the main room. However there is a quiet ceiling fan in the main room which certainly helped us feel comfortable. The apartments are serviced daily if you want – we weren’t expecting that as every other holiday apartment we’ve stayed in has not been serviced throughout our stay. There were a few basics supplied for breakfast but it’s not a B&B so you’re best off getting what you want from the local supermarket. Christos and Athena are very friendly and helpful but don’t live on site so aren’t there a lot of the time. If you need anything you just send an e-mail or a text and they will sort things out for you. For us this included arranging our taxi back to the airport (€23) and getting the taxi firm to print our Passenger Locator Forms. All in all a delightful and very convenient place to stay.
