The room is big enough, but the balcony is very small and can’t get out. The balcony wall is very high and you can’t see the river view outside. Of course, you may consider the safety factor to get such a high cement wall. The entrance is under construction when you check in, which will affect the traffic and location. Самый комфортный отель, в котором мне приходилось прибывать 👍 1. Безумно красивый отель : как снаружи, так и внутри. Комфортные номера. На сайте можно оставить пожелание по поводу кровати (одну большую или две одноместные). 2. Уборка номеров каждый день (что не везде бывает). 3. Самая классная функция- заказ завтрака в номер! Завтрак невероятно вкусный, большое порции и достаточно большой выбор блюд! На ресепшен вы можете оставить свои пожелания к завтраку , к какому времени вам принести. Спасибо повторам, за такой вкусный завтрак! Рисовая каша как из детства! Сервировка тоже на высоте! 4. Расположение. Все в пешей доступности (до всех достопримечательностей города вы можете дойти пешком, тем самым насладиться атмосферой Петербурга) 5. Приятные работники отеля! Единственный и незначительный минус: 1,5 спальное оделяло, но это опять на любителя. Мы с мужем спим под одним большим. Но думаю , что можно на ресепшен попросить большое. Но опять - это на любителя. We lived in the hotel 8-9 June. We arrived very early in the morning, at 6 a.m. and we were settled immediately. Room 730. Windows in the yard. Very quiet, although the hotel is in the very center of the city. Everything is clean. There is a tea set. A strange solution with champoo, gel and balsam. It is better to pour them into the dosage. And a strange solution with the curtain in the bathroom.... The toilet paper is wet. There is a smooth board in the room. Utig and toothbrushes on request. A chic breakfast. Kashi, omlets, very delicious sausages and quiz cabbage. Breads, cheese, becon, champagne, vegetables, fruit. Fruit is very much. There are peaches, and apples and bananas, peanuts and arbuzas. Yogurts, jams, honey. But! Most important! We asked for a late departure and we were allowed to stay in the room until 6:00, for which the huge gratitude to the hotel staff. So we managed to pay, stay the vertile for a day in fact 2 days) after that, also left for the purse until late in the evening. Thank you very much for the welcoming staff of this hotel. Overall this hotel was fine. The hotel is neat and clean in appearance. The room was a good size and looked clean and orderly. It was very quiet. The room temperature was a bit on the warm side with no visible thermostat to control the temperature. All in all I’d return if I visited St. Petersburg again.SOLD OUT

The location of the hotel seemed great to us. We did not use transportation and walked to the city and Moscow railway station. You can stroll along the noisy Nevsky Prospekt and peaceful parallel streets.

The room is small but very cozy. Clean the room every day
We could not evaluate the sound insulation effect, we did not hear the neighbors, did not see them, it was out of time.
In a cozy restaurant on the 5th floor, the breakfast is very good with a great variety. We went to the bar on the 7th floor and we could see the view of the cathedral.
I read a lot of complaints about closing windows, including. Those who definitely need air circulation, be careful and write down your wishes. If possible, I think your request will be approved. Everything about us is great.
There is a left-luggage office where you can store your luggage.

Have been here so many times in the past and now found it deserted, empty and grey. Not sure if a bathtub is any longer an extra value (we'd preferred a shower cabin)... same as a spa, if it is that kind of spa... where personnel claims they know better than the customers how to do sauna properly (I live in Scandinavia for almost 20 years and hopefully qualify ;)) We were asked for proof of COVID-vaccination, but then... people at the breakfast restaurant were not wearing masks and even the security guard in the lobby was not always doing so. Breakfast in general has also deteriorated in diversity, but it was bearable ;) Pedestrian walkway along the hotel was not cleaned of ice (well, it was the case of St.Petersburg in general). Perhaps, the proximity to the airport is the best remaining merit of the hotel, sorry to say that... :(((SOLD OUT

If you are looking for a value for money accommodation close to the station, I recommend it. It is located 3-5 minutes from the station and it seems that it is not possible for a woman or a single person to go around the big road. There is a small mart right in front of you, and there is a restaurant around that can be eaten simply. There was an ATM machine in the basement of the hotel, so I could find cash without going to the bank. Early check-in is required, but I definitely recommend the spectacular view around the city.SOLD OUT

You can reach all the attractions including the Ye Palace within 2 times by subway or bus. The hotel’s service is also good and the sanitation is very clean. This past September I spent 10 days in Saint Petersburg, staying at the Hotel Vera. It was partially a business trip mixed in with a much needed get away. As per usual I was treated with the utmost hospitality and care. Various guidance and assistance, ranging from airline ticket changes to searching for the best taxi fare (and everything in between) was always provided by the highly professional and well natured staff and management of this hotel. The proximity to downtown St. Petersburg, along with various cheap, safe, and convenient public transportation options makes the Hotel Vera even more attractive. Great, nutritious, and tasty breakfasts, not to mention the gourmet dinner menu at “Stepnov” - hotel’s restaurant, added even more pleasure to my stay. In summary, great value and a great place. And very unique as well. Exquisite collection of the stained glass from the past century. Paintings of various artists. Intriguing atmosphere of the quintessential “old Petersburg’s” boutique hotel… This is my sixth stay at the Hotel Vera, and I definitely will be back.SOLD OUT

I had stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights back in September and it was recommended by a friend of mine. I arrived early in the morning and did not expect to have the room ready, thus was pleasantly surprised, when I was able to get into my room by 10am already. The room had a fantastic view to the Cathedral and felt cozy. All necessities were provided. Breakfast was good with a nice and healthy selection and service was prompt and polite. The hotel is in walking distance to major tourist attractions and therefore very conveniently located. I would overall recommend the hotel due to the location and friendliness of the staff.SOLD OUT

The hotel itself is a solid 3 + stars, not 4. The deluxe suite with a view of the Neva is beautiful: clean, the view was pleasing (for the sake of it they took it), a good SPA complex with a swimming pool in the hotel. Additional services (massages, etc.) are quite expensive. But if you take only the entrance to the pool and saunas - it is quite economical. Service is good, clean, but you need to book in advance. Bering restaurant on the ground floor, of course, sadness. The level of service is a weak three. And the feel of the restaurant too. In general, the hotel is pleasant, the location is chic. This hotel seemed quite modern and convenient. 5 min. to the bus and 2 stops to the metro. 5 stops and you in the modern Europol shop(shop lovers). 8 stops and a magnificent restaurant VERANDA(recognize the prices of BEST) Metro forest with a map of travellers no more than 60 years for a trip. Or 65. I will not tell you exactly didn't follow it. You can pay a card in the bus but only once for a trip. What to see in Peter you choose, and here the wolf cafe is just amazing. Such baking is still searching(finger licks) and very cheap. For example, a cream-cheese chicken 36 r. and a cappuccino 0.4 125 r. WH. In the center of these cafes is full. Well about the hotel. We had 4 local room. Clean, gently. Everything is fresh. There is everything in the room. Tea, refrigerator, electric stove. You can cook yourself, you can order the room you will get. Breakfast for example 550 r. is quite edible(on view) not eating. Down in the hall a big bar beer, coffee, wine and stronger - flowing by the river. There is a film in the evening on a special site. Table tennis(the rockets are better than yours). Change of underwear or towels in the room at any time as you see the maid on the floor. There are But some transparent caps. The only minus that there is no control on the entrance and exit. If you do not build super-expectations - plans - there will be no disappointment. Travel, rest, enjoy changing the environment and new experiences. No tired time of spending you!!

В итоге оказалось, что завтрак с 9-00, а в субботу с 10-00; У меня были утренние встречи, поэтому оба дня остался без завтрака. Заранее никто не предупредил, что так поздно для завтрака открывается у них ресторан. В номере не убираются после 1й ночи. На просьбу дать или продать бутылку воды, потому что утром все закрыто, а после первой ночи никто ее не доставил, предложили самому сходить в магазин Красное и белое.

В номере есть сейф, холодильник, телевизор, бутылка с водой, кулер на этаже. Завтрак - шведский стол (рис, овсяная каша, омлет, творог, овощи, фрукты, сырники, мясная нарезка, сыр... Чай, кофе, морс. Ужин заказывается заранее на выбор. Мне понравился и завтрак и ужин, но тут, как говорится, на вкус и цвет. Английская атмосфера, созданная за счёт аутентичных вещей и картин всё же не скрывает минусы: - пластиковые душевые кабины и фено-аппараты, прибитые к стене - пыль на абажурах, зеркалах - подтёки и ржавчина в уборной - текстиль, который больше напоминает не Англию, а что-то, что долго хранилось в бабушкином сундуке - холодильник очень сильно морозит продукты, а если уменьшать температуру, то сразу начинает течь - ”уставшая” мебель

The bathroom room did not work a towel dryer (we were four, no one worked). It was very cold after the shower. They left complaints to the respiratory, the question never resolved. The administrator was laying hands, said - ”I don't know what to help you.” Number: You can stay but not more because you are unpleasant. Old windows, with some unclean dirt on the plastic part. The windows themselves are dirty, dusty. Long ago, apparently, not cleaned. On the carpet dirty old spots. Bed is a separate story. There were 2 combined in one bed. On each bed there were several mattresses (the thicker of different heights), From the top throw some porono mattress (not trusting), at the expense of all this left to right there was a big slope, two people there would not be able to sleep. In the middle of sleep too. Breakfast: Eight is scarce. Instead of boiling barely warm water. A kitchen staffer was next door, who, forgive the details, smelled very unpleasantly. The appetite was spoiled immediately and I didn't go there any more. Conclusion: Yes, hotel 3 stars, but I believe that this does not remove the responsibility of the hotel to comply with the minimum requirements for accommodation (removing spots from the carpet, working of the battery in the bathroom, cleaning staff of the kitchen, normal bed).

No complaints and claims to the hotel and staff. Resided in room 209 - ”Small room with two beds.” Clean, clean, good furniture, small refrigerator, TV with limited number of channels (entertainment), fresh bedding, decent plumbing, in a set of bathing coats, towels and sanitary facilities. It was delighted with the presence of a teapot and cups with dishes. The window went out into the interior courtyard. Whether there were a few guests in the hotel due to the known circumstances, whether for another reason, but it was very quiet that contributed to the quality of sleep. The hotel itself is located in a house with high ceilings of 1917, a building designed to accommodate the Professors and Teachers of the Military Medical Academy. The part of Lebedev Street, where the hotel is located, is quite quiet, as the main part of the transport, including trams, has time to roll over to the Forest Avenue. The guests of the hotel are given the entrance key, as the receptacle works from 9 to 21 hours. The big plus is the hotel's willingness to take your luggage into a free storage room before settling in the hotel and after eviction is very convenient. They did not take breakfast as they left the hotel early in the morning.
