Fostered culture: From the moment we walked in to check in after our red eye flight, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. Throughout our stay, staff throughout the entire hotel were welcoming, helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Having had multiple touch points between staff and ourselves be such a positive and genuine experience needs to be attributed to fostered culture and environment built by the staff.
Cleanliness: The entire hotel is kept very clean and tidy. The attention to detail was noticeable from the hotel room to the public spaces. Still, the hotel balanced this will a friendly environment welcoming guests to enjoy all the public spaces. I enjoyed working in the early hours in these public spaces while my family slept in. Pools were clean, beach well kept, chairs were comfortable and accessible.
Value for money: It is clear that everything needs to be imported. Literally, everything! Considering all of the amenities available, staff to guest ratio, quality of goods and pristine condition of the hotel-- it was an incredible value for money.

Compared to the Crown next door, this one is much inferior. The hotel was renovated in 1989 and the facilities are very old. An old-fashioned artificial lake takes up most of the backyard, so there is only a small swimming pool. There is no children's playground. Nothing to attract children. The network is very poor. The hotel is really good, and the facilities inside are just as described. When my wife and I arrived, it was already late at night in the local area. We took the room card but could not open the door. The hotel attendant found out that the door lock battery was exhausted, so we could only enter with the key and rest for a while. At night, when we entered the toilet, we were greeted by the dead body of a little boy next to the tissue box next to the wash basin. We had no choice but to wrap it in tissue and throw it into the toilet. When we went to bed at night, we heard the noise of water leaking from the air conditioner. We had no choice but to use earplugs. The next day, my wife found double eyelid tape stuck to the toilet mirror and notified the front desk. Fortunately, the problem was cleared up in one go. In addition to the above problems, the breakfast in the hotel is good. The restaurant has a pleasant view facing the sea. The hotel staff are polite and friendly. Except for the lack of attention to detail, everything else is worthy of praise.From$115

I almost chose the Kensington when I was doing my research online, but then I saw reviews mentioning they have two different price structures for guests from different countries, so I immediately dropped it. I then decided to go for something with good value for money, and I saw many people recommending this place, all praising the owner for being exceptionally kind, so I booked it. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, far from the city center, requiring a car, and it's halfway up a mountain. However, the owner's excellent service makes up for it; they provide shuttle service to and from the city center at fixed times every day, which is truly a lifesaver for those without a car! When I first contacted the owner, they mentioned that airport transfers are free for stays of three nights or more. Since I was only staying two nights, the transfers were supposed to be charged. But after I made my booking, the owner still proactively offered complimentary airport transfers, which was incredibly kind of them! Especially since the flight times to and from Saipan are often inconvenient, either very early in the morning or in the middle of the night, hats off to the owner for their hard work! Pau Pau Beach is just across the road downhill from the hotel, very close. So even when it wasn't during the fixed shuttle times to the city, the owner still drove us there and back, which we really appreciate! Saipan's tap water is incredibly salty and not drinkable. Bottled water is provided on the first day of check-in, but not starting from the second day. However, there's a water dispenser at the front desk where you can fill your own cups. The owner also prepared fresh water for brushing teeth in each room. The owner can help book various tours and activities. We chose the Tinian Island day trip, and the owner helped book the small plane tickets, contacted the local tour operator on Tinian, and even handled airport transfers, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was quiet and had a great resort atmosphere.
Personally, I was much more satisfied here than at Kensington, where I stayed before.
The pool didn't have any facilities like a resort, but it felt like a luxurious hotel pool and there weren't many people, so it was very comfortable.
The buffet was reasonably priced and the best I've had in Saipan. I was disappointed because there were a lot of restaurants in the city that were expensive and not very good (don't trust the reviews), but the food here was really delicious.
The downside was that the water pressure was weak and the bathroom was a bit shabby.
And unlike other resorts, the beach isn't connected, so you have to go separately to get to the beach. We didn't feel any inconvenience because we had already played enough at the beach at our previous accommodation, but if it's your first time here or you don't have a rental car, you should consider this.
Still, I think I'll definitely come back here next time.From$86

It’s not as bad as everyone said in the comments. The flight arrives at Saipan at night, so I chose this hotel that night. It’s in the pedestrian street, only three to five minutes away from Yuetai Hyatt, and it’s $30 by taxi from the airport to the hotel. The room is very large, there is hot water in the lobby without a kettle. It seems to be a Chinese hotel, so you don’t have to worry about language problems. We contacted the boss in advance and a driver came to pick us up at the airport. The response was prompt and it was about a 15-minute drive.
The location of the hotel is also good, very close to the city and places to play.
The boss was very enthusiastic and straightforward, and gave us a lot of tips. It was an experience worth remembering.

I really like this swimming pool to swim while watching the beautiful scenery of Lao Lao Beach. Our family of three arrived in the afternoon and enjoyed the pool experience alone. The Filipino housekeeper in charge of the reception was also very warm and kind. We really didn’t want to go back to the city to eat after swimming, but the embarrassment was because we wanted to leave before we used up the US dollars we exchanged. The hotel is located far from the city. The traffic on the mountain is inconvenient. Can't walk I can't use the card and Alipay. Fortunately, the housekeeper made a simple meal for us in Figure 4 for free. It is also recommended if you are a friend to meet here, it feels very suitable for a pool party.

Service: On the last day, we flew in the early morning, so we didn't book a hotel for that night. Normally, we check out at 12 noon, but we want to stay a little longer and take a rest. Auntie is really nice! It’s very easy to say. We added a symbolic $20 to let us stay for an extra 12 hours. It was also because there were vacancies that night. It was really humane~

The room was quiet, but the curtains did not block the sunlight. If the bathroom door is kept closed, the air conditioner cools the room extremely well. Next time, I would bring slippers for the wet bathroom. Parking was difficult because the roads are under construction, but that is not controlled by the owners. There's a common area with a fridge, TV, and water cooler—a pleasant surprise. I would stay here again. It was a great location and very safe.

The rooms were a step above other hotels – nicer and more appealing – and the facilities were excellent. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always fulfilling my requests, and all our interactions were very pleasant. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it's easy to get a taxi or ride-share to the city center. This location was perfect for me as I had a busy schedule packed with activities during the day.
