Before I came here, I saw comments that the money was stolen and the problem of non-sea-view rooms. I was very anxious. I was worried about whether to cancel the reservation and change to another hotel. After I checked in, I found the hotel was good! First of all, I did n’t have anything stolen, including jewelry and cosmetics placed on the outside. Secondly, this hotel is mountain side, so you ca n’t avoid seeing the mountains and the sea. No matter which room you stay in, there is no 360-degree sea view Room, balcony view can refer to the picture below, I think the view is very good; in the end, in fact, there is no saying that the Chinese are arranged in a room with a poor view, because my left side (closer to the mountain side is disadvantageous) Location) Two people live in Italy. I live in the United States with Americans on the right. I threw my pajamas on the sofa before going out, and when I came back, I saw that they were neatly stacked on the bed. Haha, I felt very intimate at once ~ If I come to Taormina next time, I will definitely choose this hotel , Because it has an excellent location, you can walk down to the Love Island and up to the left to the main road of the town, and there are all delicious restaurants around the hotel. It ’s almost ~ ️⚠ : Ctrip's prepayment City tax is not included, and an additional tax of 3.5 Euro / night will be charged when checking out

Batu, the gourmet restaurant at the Grand Hotel San Pietro Taormina Sicily and its boutique hotel is an absolute five star gem and must experience for travel adventurers and foodies seeking a real touch of old world class! Food GM Luigi was our passionate and deeply knowledgeable personal culinary guide for an exquisite experience of Chef Luca’s Batu food artistry. Wrapped in the cashmere caress of the unique five star boutique on a cliff overlooking the Ionian Sea in a magical garden setting of glowing lights and beautifully appointed terrace, the story of elevated Sicilian cuisine tells a story of the Etna elements, authentic produce and traditions elevated with modern techniques set apart by its inner beauty. From exceptional amuse bouche to amuse bouche to an forgettable bread course with a whipped sweet cream hand turned butter, through each chapter of our selected menu of Sicilian flavors including a delicate crisped zucchini pasta to the perfect bite of Al Dente lasagna of ragu to a trio of perfectly seasoned and delicately grilled meats to a fantastical finish of miniature Italian desserts all beautifully plated and intellectually stimulating of the senses; topping a special evening of lovingly prepared food and beautifully presented and paced service. We very highly recommend the Batu and San Pietro, five stars all the way and without the tired forced pretentiousness so common now, from the moment we stepped out of our car thru every experience from breakfast to pool to coordinated excursions. Thank you so much to Luigi, Chef Luca, Fabio, Mikela, Nino, the very kind pool manager, and the entire GHSP dedicated staff for making our trip so memorable. Grand Hotel San Pietro truly rivals the best of the best!! 🙌❤️ Love, JAM from NYC

The room is slightly old, but the bed is very comfortable, the balcony has an invincible sea view, and the balcony door is open at night to listen to the waves against the moonlight to sleep very comfortable, so that you can instantly open the seaside holiday mode. The hotel and room are actually very clean, and one star is missing because there is a stain on the curtains like blood. Breakfast is quite rich compared to other local hotels. A few minutes walk from isola bella. The bus stop is at the door, and it is very convenient to go directly to other places and airports. The hotel also has a free bus to the town center, but the shifts and seats are limited. Walking is a bit dangerous because there is no sidewalk on the mountain and there is a motorway. The hotel staff is very patient and explain the problems in detail.

Highly recommend Hotel Villa Ducale - we just stayed there earlier this week and we are already planning when we can return for another stay... The staff is amazing! No request too small and they will try to accommodate. When we drove up the hill to the hotel, we were floored by its beauty, and we immediately asked to extend our stay another night. To accomodate the additional night without changing rooms, the hotel manager asked if we would like to have a look at one of the suites across the street and we were thrilled to stay in Suite #5. We enjoyed stunning views from our terrace of Messina Bay area and the ”boot” of Sicily. The furniture in the suite was very comfortable, and we found it to be peaceful to sleep at night. I woke up early one morning and enjoyed the amazing sunrise from our terrace. The views are stunning from every corner of the hotel, which was designed so the guests can easily relax and enjoy the surroundings. We ordered drinks on the terrace near the restaurant for happy hour each evening to enjoy the sunset. Francesco was often our gracious host for happy hour, and helpful with tourist info and questions. We had dinner the first night we checked in and our meal was spectacular! The hotel does offer free shuttle to Taormina, which we used. However, it is easy to get a taxi in Taormina and not a significant expense so you can enjoy yourself on your own schedule. We enjoyed the small pool each afternoon to cool off, after exploring the area. The morning we checked out, breakfast was over- however, the staff graciously extended the buffet so our family could enjoy our last meal overlooking Taormina. We loved this wonderful hotel, the staff, the food, the views and the suite was amazing. We hope to return soon, and highly recommend Hotel Villa Ducale!!!

The hotel has been in existence for 119 years. The service is very good. The location of the hotel is also good. It is just at the entrance of the most prosperous area on the mountain. It is also close to the ”Internet celebrity” four seasons. It has an independent garden area and swimming pool. The price is very high. The room is clean The product quality is also very good. The only fly in the ointment is that the facilities and room types are slightly flawed, but as a century-old hotel, I am already very satisfied. Generally speaking, it is highly recommended!

The ocean view is really heartfelt. To get to the city center, you have to walk and then take the cable car. Personally think the hotel is fine, but just a little old. The main reason is that the price is not good. Sorry for the price of 2000 nights (late October, out of high season). Lower than expected. Reasonable price 1200.

Taormina City Center Taormina|0.02km from city center
We have stayed in many hotels around the world, but from the moment you enter the Metropole Hotel in Taormina, you realize you are going to undergo a unique experience. It is almost like visiting a large family in their magnificent estate overlooking the ocean on one side, and in the center of “movie set” Taormina on the other. This family warmly caters to your every need, and within their estate you have every possible facility you could desire. The rooms (several types, sea view and city view, but get sea view if you can) are spacious and comfortable. Marcello (the manager) assisted so ably and warmly by Santino, cannot do enough to guide you and help you enjoy their beautiful city. David, Maria and the other bar/restaurant staff are there when you want them, but leave you to enjoy the incredible view from the bar and restaurant in comfort. There is an infinity pool that is wonderfully refreshing, and has both open and shaded loungers to enjoy a restful break. The food in either the bar or restaurant is first class - best Niçoise salad I’ve ever had! When you visit Sicily, if your only splurge on one hotel, make it the Metropole in Taormina - it’s worth it!

We’ve been to Taormina on two previous occasions, stopping at the nearby Ariston Hotel both times. No complaints about the Ariston. However, due to matters financial, we switched to the TPH, which was a bit of a gamble. This could have gone all wrong……but it didn’t. We loved it! If you’ve read some of the other reviews, you’ll get the picture quite well, the TPH could use a good decorater, however, it’s cosmetic, and caused us no problems at all. The hotel is smaller and quieter than the Ariston , and has an olde worlde charm, with its marble staircase, inlaid doors, chandeliers and furniture from a bye gone era. The pool area, although busy at times, was quiet and well run by the staff, a great place to enjoy the Sicilian sun, and cool off! The breakfasts were taken by the pool, nice touch, and there was plenty of variety on offer and we really enjoyed that. The view from there, and our second floor balcony, was unbeatable. The wifi in our room worked fine, all the time. However, the massive selling point that really made our time there so marvellous, was none of the above; it was the staff! From the quietly confident and helpful desk staff, to the welcoming and engaging catering/breakfast/pool bar staff, the maintenance man, to the room cleaners, they were awesome! If you need a place in Taormina that is central, clean, with great views, great food and fantastic staff, I have no hesitation in recommending theTaormina Park Hotel. Just don’t book it during the first two weeks of July, ‘cause we’re going back next year! Bravo TPH, you were amazing 🤩

I stayed at Villa Carlotta for 4 nights at the end of September, the hotel was fully booked but I got the last Junior suite available. If anyone is coming from Catania , the bus is actually the most affordable way, only 5 euros and conveniently there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, literally! Also the airport bus goes direct, so do that if you want to save 100 euros in cab fare 😊. The moment I arrived for checkout Aji greeted me and checked me in swiftly , took my bags and offered me a nice welcoming drink at their rooftop restaurant. Aji was an amazing staff member, he looked after me and gave me so much useful advice, booked all my restaurants & beach access (highly recommend visiting the Belmond Santandrea beach if you can it is well worth it), and overall one of the nicest person you would come across, can’t say enough good things about him! Also the young lady on the front desk was a delight to speak to, she managed the social media and was such a kind person, always taking time to chat with me and keep me informed, a real pleasure to interact with! Now for the actual room, it was spacious with spectacular views over the sea and it even had two balconies, it got the most beautiful sunrise views I have seen in quite some time (attached in the pics to this review). The room was large with a nice long sofa looking out onto the sea and it had a classic modern feel, with a comfortable well equipped bathroom, and I had a great peaceful sleep there. For me the best part of the hotel was the roof top bar and restaurant , it was stunning, very chic and the views are unparalleled, I don’t think it can get much better. The breakfast was so delicious there every morning and never felt crowded , the mini cannoli’s are to die for! The service staff there were so friendly and warm, smiling always and genuinely happy to help you, you could see they loved working there, which is rare! The property had lovely gardens with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, and a pool which was refreshing but I didn’t use it much as I was out and about most of the time. The proximity to the main town center is great, just 10 mins walk to the hotel which keeps things quiet, yet very accessible. If you are looking for a top notch boutique hotel experience with impeccable service then I would highly recommend staying here, can’t wait to come back!

Honestly: this is not a hotel, it’s not a resort, and it’s certainly not a five star experience by any stretch. This is an elevated motel on the beach that is the closest you can get to Isola Bella. We chose this location because we wanted a relaxing beach vacation in Sicily and we had seen that some of the scenes from White Lotus season 2 were filmed there. We originally booked a refundable rate for 7 nights. The week before we were scheduled to arrive, something came up and we needed to shorten our stay in Taormina. When I called to inform the hotel, the first thing I was told by the concierge on the phone was that we still needed to pay the full amount because we booked a non refundable rate. She had not even checked my reservation. I politely advised her to check her records because in fact we had booked a refundable rate. Only when she actually checked the records (that I provided via email) did she concede that we have a refundable rate. I asked her to send me an updated email confirmation with the new information for just the three nights. She assured me she would send it. It took me three or four phone calls to her in the span of two hours (with a 6 hour time difference, mind you) requesting an email with written confirmation of the new rate. Only when I put the pressure on her and asked to either put her manager on the phone or send it while I was on the phone, did she promise me I would have it within the hour. I gave her one last chance - and only then she did deliver. I should not have had to press this hard for a simple email confirmation, but I already felt I could not trust the hotel because of her not being thorough during our first telephone interaction. This is why I pushed very hard to make sure we were covered, in writing. We arrived at the property and upon check in were given a property tour by the concierge. We booked a double room with patio (not a bungalow, because we had read mixed reviews about the bungalows). When we approached the bungalow section of the property, the concierge noted that we were now in the area where the most important and most VIP guests stay. WHO SAYS THIS TO A GUEST NOT STAYING IN THAT AREA?! It made me feel horrible….as if because we didn’t book a bungalow, we did not matter. It truly hurt me. I didn’t address it in the moment, I was so shocked that I played nice about it, but inside I was very hurt, and was very upset privately later on. When we were allowed in our room we noticed there was no floor length mirror…. I had to ask for one, and they brought one quickly but it had shattered glass in one corner of the mirror. We had a hot tub on our patio; looked like someone serviced the equipment and left the top it uncovered so when we arrived we were treated to a less than glorious sight (see photo). The “walls” of our patio were large sheets of canvas - so you could hear everything that was said/happening on the patio next to yours. They didn’t even size the tar

The hotel presidential suite is basically the entire fake impeccable. The room has its own swimming pool, two bedrooms, high privacy and high level of service. The hotel spa is also worth a visit, just to relax after swimming. The hotel has a private beach. The bar in the hotel is more surprising than the restaurant, there will be band performances at night, and you must try their pizza. 🔔Service: Top 🧹Hygiene: Top 🍃Environment: Facing the sea, the best location on the island 🚗 Transportation: Everything can be arranged by the hotel. A renovated clean hotel with nice sea view. Great location, very conveniently located close (walking distance) to the key highlights of Taormina, shops and the upper entrance of the cable car. Staff was attentive and friendly willing to share information and highlights about the area. Whenever we asked for assistance it was happily provided. The room we got was spacious and comfortable. There is a public parking adjacent to the hotel but if you want a private one to guarantee a spot, the hotel can easily arrange. Even though the breakfast is basic, its tasty. Would have preferred a bathroom with a natural ventilation but that did not affect our stay at all.

Taormina is a real Sicilian gem overlooking the breath-taking coast line and the magnificent volcano Etna. Like every touristic top destinations also in Taormina the amount of hotels and B&B it’s simply impressive and the quality of the service is not always comparable to the hotel rates. I found this hotel a great compromise between reasonable price, nice bedrooms, great location and stunning view. What makes a difference in my opinion tho is the front desk staff together with their colleagues of the breakfast team and all the other friendly and serious pro I met during my stay in this hotel. As a skilled traveller and tour operator with thousands night spent in hotels in the last 25 years I’d say that there are few minor details I’d change or fine tune to be a full 4 stars but a big shoutout to Annalisa, Giovanni, Nicoletta and all the other top staff members - sorry guys I don’t remember all the names but you were all at the top. I paid €200 including €6 tax for one night only. .. OK if we talk about exclusive things we know that prices are high. but I'm sorry, I've noticed more defects and no clarity... than anything else. First, it was unclear, booking the private bathroom (I come to know when I arrive at a place that is not heated) so I think it was right to tell me in time or at least write it on the site, in order that the customer can choose other choices (in fact, the water was very cold). Second, the owner briefly explains the functionalities of the apartment from outside the house (because on the ground he was still a little wet by the cleaning carried out) And how I wanted to prove... at last the defects came out as fungi, cleaning not well and up to the bottom, the defected shower arm, 2 unused coffee machines (maybe it needed a license), some lights taken in my opinion (to be safe) And so many other details to take on that we don't mention otherwise we exaggerate! But sweet in the depth..... , at 20:00 I realize the bath has the hydromassage that doesn't go (in addition to being very cold) and think I had booked specifically for this to make a birthday surprise to my companion (of course disappeared!) However, I notice the owner of the defect, you answer me... I'm trying to get the maintenance and fix, moral: no one came to fix anything, no one excused anything, no one contacted me, And I and my companion at last couldn't even use the famous water massage bath!!! P.S. I hope this review is a good charge of adrenaline for Villa zagara managers so that they can solve the many and various problems and finally give their customers for what they spend! Good work

We had a fantastic stay at il Piccolo Giordino. It is perfectly located for everything. You practically live on the main street with a wonderful stairs to the hotel. There is a very good, fresh breakfast. Pool on the terrace. The most important thing is the staff who did everything to ensure you have a perfect holiday. Special thanks to Luccia who served a wonderful coffee and Rosario in the reception who gave us nice recommendations for good restaurants and leisure activities. Thank you very much for a perfect holiday!

Central location near Porta Messina: it is the advantage but also the disadvantage of this B&B. Everything depends on your needs: being in the center means enjoying the terrace that looks at the main road, The hotel is located in the city centre of Taormina, and the San Pancrazio, where taxis, buses and ships are going. And the start of the funicular that brings you up and down from the sea (Isolabella e.g.) is also a little far away. I confirm for breakfast: excellent and with Lili that welcomes you in a light and well-prepared room. Check in can also be done on the phone. Attention: whoever has the car will have to leave it at the Lumbi parking (paying it) and then get up with free bus shipping. Suggestion to the property: put a dark tent at the Cleopatra Chamber and insert essential information on parking on the site. Thank you for this 3-day winter stay: thanks to the vs structure I could stay in the heart of Taormina.

A dona é grosseira.

I would like to give 6* if possible! This was a special holiday for my husband's birthday. We stayed here on the recommendation of our travel agent who have customers who rave about it. I can see why! Even though we had an entry level room (others were taken) it was amazing! ALL staff were fantastic but special mention to Manuella and Marco from the breakfast team. Beautiful, small hotel (23 rooms) which was a private villa, originally. Very well appointed and nicely decorated. The breakfast room is on the roof with amazing views. Only thing that spoiled the tranquility was a group of loud American cyclists (I think) Loud in the breakfast room; loud by the pool. :( The Michelin Starred restaurant, as you would expect, is very expensive as well as drinks from the bar. 20 euros for a glass of wine! Perfect situation for exploring Taomina. Lots of great restaurants and a walk down the, pedestrianised, main street was great with all the designer shops. A trip to the Opera was 22 euros well spent, too! Easy access to the bus station, cable car for a trip to Isola Bella is worth a visit. So much to see in the area, too. Local tourist office (near the Messina Gate) can book these for you. We went on the Godfather tour, of course, a day trip to Syracuse, Ortegia and Neapolis, and Etna is a must! There is a hop on/hop off bus which gives you an orientation tour of the area. We hope to return and maybe try one of the bigger, sea front rooms.
