Hotel reception was very welcoming for a midnight (ish) arrival. Apartments are substantial in size with good facilities. The problem is that they allow smoking, even on non-smoking floors, so cigarette smells permeate the apartments and no amount of 'refreshing' spray can eliminate the odour. We had a problem on our last morning where the entire water supply for the apartment cut out mid-shower and wasn't restored for over an hour.
The staff organised a free cake for us to celebrate a birthday while staying at the hotel.
The promised chocolate hour timings were mis-communicated to us, which was disappointing for our children. Breakfast was a pretty good range with a few multi-cultural options. The on-demand omelette service always had a long line and the restaurant area didn't have enough tables during peak times to accommodate us.
Valet parking was available for hotel guests but because the apartments are in a building 100 or so metres away, it was not practical to use for our stay.
Overall a pleasant stay but still quite a few service issues for the hotel to improve.From$69

We Stayed for 5 nights at th Fairmont Dubai and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From check in to check out with the lovely girl her name's, (Ms .Gharam)she was polite and extremely helpful. My husband and I stayed in a nice view room which had plenty of space for the two of us. The room was very clean and comfortable. We wanted a few days of rest and we enjoyed our time by the pool during the day. The staff at the poolside bar and restaurant were lovely and looked after us all day. A big thank you for all the staff and special thanks to Ms Gharam at front desk for her excellent service. Our favourite restaurant in the evening was greac, sushi. Food was really tasty and Also thank you to the man who was in charge of Shisha. The grape and mint was an amazing combination. We will definitely return to the Fairmont DubaiFrom$147

I had an amazing one night stay at the QE2 - as a Brit now living in Austrália the QE2 has a special place in my heart - never as a Cunard ship could I have afforded travelling to New York - now I could and the ship is sparkling - the renovation is fantastic throwing you back to the heyday of her life - the service was fantastic the food and drink authentic and worth the stay! All the staff at SLS Business Bay were so accommodating and attentive. The property is so clean and modern; very picturesque. We enjoyed Privilege pool, S Bar and Fi’lia. Thank you to GM Flavin for making sure our balcony view from the room was city view perfect. The bed is extra comfortable and the big bathtub is a special addition and was definitely utilized. Thank you to Adam who was so helpful during check in. Adam’s smile was so inviting. He’s just the man for the job at front desk check in. Keep him around. Special Thank you to Laura who was communicating with me for 2 months on room decoration for a special birthday surprise. So many other staff members that were exceptional. Great value economic hotel, very spacious, busy elevators like any vertical lodging. Also had an issue with the fire alarm staff should be trained to be more polite. The iron triggered the alarm, the staff showed up looking for penalty tribue, they were so fixated on the idea that I was smoking despite being a non-smoker, it was very dismissive and outright rude, I actually had a hard time thumbing them put of my suite!
Still the place is good, as long as the staff learn that extracting penalty fees from guests shouldn't become the priority, once they are educated, they were not be desperate to invade rooms and pretend to be professional investigators
They front desk did apologize for the poor training and promised it will never ever happen again. So based on that I must leave a 5/5 review as the hotel was nice when that incident is isolated.From$99

The Obelisk, Dubai Club upgrade is a must! The 360 degree views from floor 51 are unforgettable. I enjoyed many a cup of tea on Floor51 viewing amazing sunsets, the night sky and watching the coloured lights on the Burj Khalifa. During a very hot period due to a sudden change in the weather it was a treat to be able ‘pop’ to floor 51 and enjoy tea/coffee, afternoon tea and drinks in the evening whilst enjoying the stunning views. An excellent breakfast with a wide variety of items to meet all dietary needs. The room was lovely with stunning views. The swimming pool allowed a good swim and was particularly pretty in the evening. Fascinating watching the window cleaners! Not a job I would want. I am full of admiration. We did receive an upgrade as we waited 90 minutes to check in for club class. Staff need to be more relaxed. Just feel they are on edge. Your plate disappears nearly before you have finished eating. This in turn put me on edge. A more welcoming atmosphere needs to be adopted but still remaining standards. A special thank you goes to 'Satish' (do hope I have the correct name). The hotel was good staff is good the roof top staff is amazing. But the only issue was that there if you purchase any beverage of food in the hotel outlets there is no room settlement or we can sign the cheque and pay at the end of the stay.

It was a great experience and location is awesome.From the entrance of the hotel onwards we received a nice hospitality by Nilantha and Jianna from reception makes our checkin very fast.Once reached room got a surprise anniversary cake and nice decorated bed. Room was very nice and comfortable. Enjoyed pool bar and Basil was good in service.. Ghulam and mark antony was also very helpful with us. All the staff are very friendly. Night we orderd in room dining food and it was very tasty. My daughter liked the pool and enjoyed alot there.. Special mention to all engineering team and housekeeping team to keep the place beautiful as always..
Few areas noticed to improve is bathroom amenities bottles are very difficult to use. It is very hard and couldn't get the shower gel/shampoo etc properly. Also breakfast buffet there was no indian options only one item Rajma curry was disgusting.. I checked with chefs is there any other options but they told only this item available and they are not even botherd to offer with any suggestions which makes us feel bad..
Totaly it was an excellent stay and enjoyed the wonderful ambience with my family on our wedding anniversary.

|0.36km from city centerUpon alighting the taxi, there was no one to help with luggage, I had to drag my luggage all the way to the front desk and only until I check in, I was assisted with my luggage when I asked.
Check in was done by Nadia who was very accommodating and welcoming. I was surprised that’s she was all yes to my accommodating my requests. She explains the facilities/amenities without having to ask & took the courtesy to offer me beverages while I wait for the room to be ready. A very good first impression was made even before my stay started despite the first issue above.
Room was big and spacious with the interiors being in such good taste. Comes with an ipad to control the room although it is high tech, curtains are not automated which was a miss.
Pool was stunning on level 54, with the views of Burj Khalifa, complimented with an ice cold bottled water.
Location wise is good as it’s connected to dubai metro/dubai mall but would recommend not walking from the hotel to the mall as it is such a long 20 minutes walk.

Выбор был сделан на случайно: близко к остановкам общественного транспорта, метро (красная ветка), откуда можно доехать до всех основных достопримечательностей, а также относительная близость основных бесплатных пляжей Дубая. Кроме того, в трёх остановках автобусов F33, F35 (до остановки 180 метров) красивый благоустроенный бесплатный парк с озером (в форме прокладки, сразу узнаваемым на карте), детскими игровыми зонами , спортивными игровыми площадками Al Barsha Pond Park, куда супруг каждый вечер ездил, чтобы поиграть в баскетбол. В гипермаркете Карфур (Carrefour) (находится в Молле Эмиратов) можно закупиться продуктами по приемлемым ценам и приготовить себе любое блюдо прямо в номере. Номер оснащен хорошей кухней с большим холодильником, плитой, духовкой, микроволновкой, тостером, необходимой посудой, чайником, (чай,кофе, сахар в наличии), стиральная машина, утюг, гладильная доска также есть в номере. Телевизор без русских каналов. По поводу завтраков в отеле. Мы бронировали номер с завтраком на 11 дней. На 4-й день пожалели, что оплатили завтраки. На 2-3 дня ещё куда ни шло, можно питаться одним и тем же, но 11 дней однообразия уже перебор. В целом все вкусно, но разнообразия нет, не шведский стол, официант по меню приносит блюда на сервированный приборами стол. В следующий раз, если приедем в этот отель (не исключено, т.к. все устраивает), завтракать будем самостоятельно, в номере можно кофе-чай попить...Воду 2 бутылки по 0.5 приносят каждый день во время уборки. Недорого и вкусно можно поесть, если выйти из отеля и пойти по улице направо. Сразу после парковки ряд недорогих кафешек. Брали одно блюдо на двоих за 30 дирхам (рубль 25.3 дирхам на данный момент), не смогли все осилить, нам упаковали оставшееся с собой. Почти напротив отеля небольшой продуктовый магазин Кафур. Такого разнообразия, как в Молле, конечно, там нет, закупиться по-быстрому можно. В отеле есть неплохой фитнес-зал. Хоть на ресепшн и написано, что он до 12.00 работает, по факту он всегда открыт, по крайней мере до 18.00 точно, до этого часа открыт и бассейн рядом, на крыше. Самый лучший пляж, на наш взгляд, Kite, народу в ноябре не много, вода чистая, пляж убирается, есть бесплатные туалеты, душ, переодеваться только в туалетах. Бесплатная питьевая вода. Вай-фай (авторизовались в самый первый день по номеру Эмиратского телефона и эл.почте, в последующие дни подключались автоматически без авторизации). Ехать 10-11 остановок до Umm Suqeim 1 или Abdallah Mleih Masjid на 81 автобусе. Пляж между этими остановками. Рядом с отелем есть остановка, идти минуты 4, 180 метров, но на ней негде присесть, автобус ходит каждые 20 минут, можно не угадать и стоять долго, если он уже ушел. Кроме того, в 9.25-9.30 очень много народу уже едет, присесть в автобусе не получится. Надо или раньше, до 9.00, или позже, после 10.00 уезжать, или идти на конечную около М

But don't get a room close to the entrance gate and road because cars and motorcycles will sleep deprive you all night. Very busy road as it goes down to the beach carparks with very loud cars and motorcycles going past all night until about 4am-5am. So request a room down the opposite end of the resort from the road and you should have an awesome stay. Resort has its own scuba diving courses, kite surfing lessons and wind surfing and paddle boards and stuff. It has a very good gym with top of the line gym machines and equipment and a very nice swimming pool area. Resort right smack bang on the beach. It has a nice sitting area where you can enjoy a meal and some drinks and look out at the ocean.

Good variety of restaurant they have in hotel itself and for more varieties it's connected to Mall of Emirates 😍😍😍. They were all so kind and helped me navigate my first time here. The room service was good and well priced. The young man that runs the breakfast buffet was exceptional! |18.08km from city centerWe booked a 160-flat 2 bedroom suite, the room is really big, look at the Palm Island, but our floor is not high, 15 floors, not obvious, it is estimated that more than 30 layers will be clearer. The service of the hotel is very good and everyone is very enthusiastic! Carrefour is not far away, you can buy food and cook for yourself. We basically cook for ourselves! The traffic is also convenient, we are self-driving, the hotel is to help stop the car, and there are subway stations not far from the surrounding, just a few hundred meters away! In short, it is a very good hotel, it is recommended!
