The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Athenian Bookstore. The hotel’s restaurant is also good, and dinner and breakfast are all eaten at the hotel. Accor's management group. The service staff in the hotel are very enthusiastic. I also did a SPA in the hotel, and the technology is okay. The only little regret is to consult with the hotel before going to the hotel about the taxi fare from the airport to the hotel. The hotel just doesn't say, but I highly recommend the hotel's airport pick-up service. . . Argentina is really cheap! The exhaust fan in the bathroom is loud, and the air outlet is facing the bed, so I dare not turn it on at night. . . Afraid of blowing it out.From$212

The Park Tower Hotel is a large convention center hotel connected to the Sheraton next door. The lobby is enormous and the rooms are pretty large also. It is located next to Plaza San Martin and a 10 minute walk to the Puerto Madero or a ld port area. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - concierge recommended a restaurant and got us a reservation and a taxi to dinner our first night, recommended a theatre for dinner and a tango show and made our reservations which included transportation, directed us to a money exchange location close by and also pointed us to an ATM just across the street. The hotel is very clean and bright. There is a nice bar in the Sheraton right across the hall and also an 2 restaurants, one in the Park Tower and one in the Sheraton and while they are good, there are much better steak restaurants close by. It’s a good clean, safe hotel and I would stay there again.From$299

The room is quite unique and very cozy, but it is really not soundproofed and very noisy, and people here make loud noises from late into the early morning. The room is not big and the bed is small. Fierro Hotel is a true gem! The location is good but we took a taxi nearly everywhere. There are lots of eateries all around this neighborhood though.
The people at the desk exceed themselves in giving the best service they can. We arrived mid-morning, and we only had to wait a few minutes before our 2 rooms were ready. We waited in their dining room where they served us their amazing breakfast that comes with the room.
We ate many of our meals here because the food is amazing, chef-prepared. The wines recommended by their in-house sommelier are delicious.
The rooms are big with a fridge stocked with champagne if desired. Also a separate wine fridge stocked with several wines.
The desk folks have great suggestions for things to do as well as calling a taxi, English-speaking if desired. We asked about a dinner show with tango. It did not disappoint! They made our reservations, we were picked up and taken to the venue and it was great!
We needed a late checkout and they allowed us to stay til 2 pm.
I can't guarantee that on busier days the same accommodations to time in and out can be given. But we can leave our luggage safely if needed, even use of the facilities of pool, dining and sauna were offered after checkout.
I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. The only negative thing was having to leave!From$299

I stayed at several hotels during my trip to Buenos Aires and this was by far my favorite. The rooms are modern and clean and the bathrooms are large. I asked for a high floor room in advance and was given this. The staff at the hotel were accomidating and helpful. The breakfast was great as well! This hotel is one of the most luxurious in BA and is located in a golden location. You can walk to the cemetery, and Hermes is across the road. The whole is indeed a palace style, very retro and beautiful, and the hotel that I live in NYC is much better. The service is quite satisfactory, and I can say that it is the service that this price hotel should have. Nice location with very clean rooms, most the places that we wanted to visit. 10-20min walking distance, for longer trips we used Uber . But best part during our visit was the front desk staff, Zaria and Nestor was exceptionally nice and super professional. Clean and well presented hotel in a great location on Av Corrientes. The street comes alive at night with buskers, dancers & small market stalls. The hotel is safe & staff were very helpful. Only (minor) negative was that yhe rooms don’t have kettles so you need to walk down to level 1 to get hot water (bit odd). But it’s a good hotel and worth a visit.From$52

Our room overlooked the Recoleta Cemetery. An entire block of outdoor restaurants were just around the corner, a mall is across the street, the Hop On Hop Off bus stop is walking distance, the park with Sunday fair is also very close. We arrived at 8:00 a.m., so our room wasn't ready (which we expected), but they have a shower and changing room adjacent to their exercise room that we were able to use. We stayed two nights, then flew to the interior for 12 days of hiking, then returned to this hotel. They kept a piece of non-hiking luggage in storage for us for the 12 days at no cost. We would definitely stay here again.

Negative points: small room, very small bathroom and boxing up to uncomfortable, bed and dressing somewhat uncomfortable; our room was near the kitchen, so sometimes the morning noise catches a little. Although they have more negative points, we recommend :)

I reviewed last year but thought an update would be pertinent. The hotel has around 55 rooms and once again provided clean, spacious accommodation, good showers and great breakfast options. The staff were efficient, though some of the desk staff could perhaps smile a little ? ! This time round on our first stay we were allocated a room (202) facing the road. We found this very noisy and did not get good sleep during our two night stay. On our return leg we were in a more familiar room (806) location facing the back of residential accommodations. Not exactly picturesque but far quieter. So, whilst the location and hotel are good and only a 10 minute walk to Recoleta Cemetery, National Art Gallery, restaurants, cafes, etc unless you are a city person and used to the noise, try and make sure you get a room away from the road!

We had a minor booking incident where I had a booked our room for the day after we arrived, and the front desk did everything they could to find us a room (which they did) with no extra charge. We couldn’t have been more grateful for their patience, understanding and efficiency. We were able to store our luggage with them while we did a brief trip to Ushuaia, and upon returning to the hotel, our luggage had already been taken upstairs to our new room. We stayed for 6 days after where we were treated by the friendliest and best service. People all seemed genuinely happy to see us (as opposed to the fake hellos you get in so many places), and each person at the front desk took an interest what we had done that day and where we had eaten (definitely take their recommendations they provide on checking in, they genuinely believe in the restaurants and don’t have a relationship with them). The breakfast team every morning (Luna, Aulin, Noe, Ceci and Dani) were amazing taking care to remember our order for coffee and eggs everyday. The buffet breakfast is lovely, with seasonal offerings for the holidays. The in-house restaurant is also worth trying as the food was great! Oh and the bathtub! Definitely try it out! I would definitely stay there again, it really was magical.

The location is perfect--Recoleta is gorgeous, retaining a French/European vibe. There are great restaurants, galleries and shopping nearby, and it's an easy walk to Recoleta Cemetery and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. Algodon's staff is priceless--truly making this beautiful hotel the perfect stay for BA. I will definitely stay here again on a return trip.

|0.61km from RecoletaWe could not have been happier with this hotel. The location is terrific in the quiet Recoleta neighborhood with loads of shops and restaurants close by. The staff are all wonderful and attentive and do their best to make all guest feel welcome. We stayed in connecting rooms 47 and 48. These are perfect for a family since they feel quite private and don’t have and rooms on either side. Thankfully they look over the patio and have lots of natural light. At first we thought they forgot to put bathrooms in the rooms. But these are hidden behind wardrobe mirrors. They are quite small but with a superb layout which makes the most of the space. If you don’t need a bath this is all you need. If you only have a single room then 48 is a better option because the bathroom has natural light. The rooms themselves are a good size with a chaise longe to relax when not on the bed. Breakfast offers an excellent range of options. However this is one few areas that the hotel could make improvements. The coffee is really poor (common problem in Argentina), but it was disappointing that the paid espresso based drinks where not a bigger improvement. All the food was excellent from the fruit to pastry to waffles. The scrambled eggs varied from being among the best I have had to rather poor. If only they would not burn them and then stir it the burnt crust, it would be so much better. It is nice to have the roof terrace to relax and get some natural light. The pool is good enough for a dip, though it would be more appealing if it was maintained to be cleaner. The spa and gym area is also really well equipped. Parking is available two blocks away on Callao street for ARS 1000 for 24 hours with in out privileges which is a very reasonable rate for the area. If you want anything better than this hotel you have to pay high end international rates. As long as the rates remain well below the luxury chains in BsAs, this is easily the best value you will find.
