First of all, the advantages: the advantage is that the location is good, near the Mermaid Fort, Going out to sit in the Mermaid Fort at night to enjoy the scenery is simply beautiful! The attitude and service of the service staff is particularly good! Great! Disadvantages: If you are taking the train to Budapest, you still want to do the subway to the hotel, then congratulations, you have to prepare to drag the suitcase to climb the stairs, but also go to the park with stones, if you happen to wear high heels or a lot Pack, then you have a big lottery, kill you! Exhausted you! Don't ask me for knowing! If you get out of the car and take a taxi, then there is nothing wrong! I also hit the car in the end! There is no supermarket nearby, there are 16 buses, it is very convenient! The key point is: the room is particularly tidal, to what extent, I washed a pair of underwear, did not do it for five days! The room is still dark and the air is not good! In addition, the hair dryer is not good for this device, just the display! I hope I can't help you!
I travel often to Budapest and always look for an accomodation that is out of the ordinary: the Pest-Buda perfectly fits in this category. The location is fantastic, near the Castle, and the building itself is extremely well renovated. The beds are amongst the best I‘ve ever slept in -that‘s something coming from an extensive traveller! The service was flawless: the manager went out of his way to help me even though it was Christmas. I warmly recommend this hotel to everybody looking for something special: I stayed in the Attic Suite and I‘ll surely come back! One thing that could be improved: the vathing towels could be a bit bigger and the vathroves were size „M“, so too small for me. The hotel might want to consider asking the guests which size they need: so much a better feeling to get out of the bathtub and slip on a comfortable bathrobe!
The view is super good, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. If you need to take a picture in Fisherman's Bastion, you must stay at this hotel and go to the attractions when you go out. It is super good to watch the sunrise. Due to the hotel's environmental protection, slippers and toothbrushes were not provided. You need to bring it with you.
Old hotel, all standard specifications, check-in is very convenient, good attitude. The location is very good, the exit is the commercial street, there are many restaurants and bars next to it. It is very lively at 11 o'clock in the evening. It is very close to the subway station and the tram. Go to the river for 5 minutes and walk straight to the Charles Bridge. The hotel rooms are large and the bathrooms are spacious and comfortable.
If you go to Budapest for free, it is highly recommended that you stay at the Marriott Hotel for one night. Absolutely one of the most cost-effective hotels on the Danube Bank, all rooms have a night view of the Danube. In addition to the regular Western style, the hotel's breakfast also has a choice of soup. The hotel's canteen can buy transportation tickets, the concierge can help book tickets for the night Danube night tour, and the entire Danube River tour with Chinese guides is very convenient. The famous Xiaohuang car tram is at the Intercontinental Gate and walked for 3 minutes. The famous restaurant and Michelin restaurant on the cat eagle are also nearby, within walking distance. The hotel provides toiletries, except for the toilet without a wet and dry separation requiring a walk-in shower.
This hotel itself has relatively few reviews. I don't know why the previous friends didn't mention it. The ritz is the top of the subway. Underground is the second oldest subway in Europe, which is nearly a century old (of course, this building is older), so the sound insulation is very poor. The 6th floor (only 9 floors in total) can feel a strong sense of tremor (Imagine 17 hours a day every five minutes). The lobby on the first floor was an earthquake. No wonder it was 50 times cheaper than Marriott at that time. And there are two nightclubs downstairs. In the middle of the night, drunks sing. Drunk leaning on someone's car over and over again caused the alarm. It's really miserable. However, the charge has already been deducted. Stay overnight for another night ... At the same time the mattress is also the softest since the trip. Asking for a change didn't work. What a terrible ritz experience. Rare review. Be sure to remind everyone later. Budapest's urban management again ... The car whistle and the motorcycle roar. Let's live by the river
The Eurostar, which was chosen because of the location, was very close to a subway station, and it was easy to find after leaving the station, but one thing is that the subway station may not be an elevator because it is a small station. . . We stepped up from the staircase with a large 30-inch suitcase step by step, and in the last few steps, the enthusiastic citizens next to us looked at us and took the initiative to come and help us with our luggage. Really Thank you very much! The facilities are given to Samsung because there is a drawer in the room and the door of the Mini Bar can never be closed. If you close it well, it will slide out immediately, and you can only leave them open in the end. . . .
This hotel is ideally located and was great for the short stay I had in Budapest. I didn’t have to take public transport anywhere. Breakfast was great!
There was a mix up with my booking. I confirmed the number of nights for my stay when I checked in but when I returned to my room for the last night I found the key card wasn’t working because they seemed to think I was due to have checked out that day. They didn’t contact the booking company to check and instead embarrassed me into thinking I was the one mistaken but did find that I was right and they were mistaken. The room wasn’t cleaned either due to this mistake. While the hotel was very good, I wouldn’t return for this reason.
Very close to Budapest Keleti Station, 5 minutes walk from the station, on the street with Mac'Dnard, Burger King, immediately turn left in front of the KFC store.
The room is large and equipped with a refrigerator (two bottles of expensive bottle water ... of course, paid) and a safe box for free use.
Cleaning was done properly and was available comfortably.
The size of the shower booth was enough, but unfortunately, there was black mold on the door packing and on the bottom of the wall, and I felt poor maintenance.
Is the included breakfast a typical European BUFFET, a level that is not impossible?
Breakfast was a little bit annoying to get on the train starting at 7:00 in the morning and departing from Keleti at 8:00, but it would be unavoidable.
The politeness of the front staff was impressive.
Upon check-in, you will receive a note with check-out time, breakfast information, free WiFi information, and more.
In general, it was an inn and service that made me feel Value For Money.
WiFi was fast enough and could be used anywhere in the hotel without any problems.
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, comfortable beds, great breakfast. Had a wonderful time! Really nothing to complain about. We loved it :-)
Also was very impressed by the concierge service as we purchased tickets for the Hop On Hop Off tour through them and when we complained that the tour company was really terrible (rude, late...) the hotel refunded us half of what we paid. I appreciate that they took responsibility for a service that was purchased through them.
The only bad thing about the hotel is that the original aunt had to go into the house to clean it. When I knocked on the door, I came in. I was wearing a cooler one. Then I told my aunt that I don’t want to clean it now. I waited for a while and then the front desk confirmed the cleaning. But when I came out and found that no one had cleaned it, I felt a little bit in my heart. There is no problem with the rest of the position.
Because I ’m not familiar with Google Maps, almost all the way down to people. The handsome local brother helped me carry my suitcase on the stone road, turned several streets and took me to the door of the hotel. Thanks to the warm and kind people in Budapest. In fact, I later found that there is a more convenient way from the airport bus to the hotel. I like the location of the hotel most. Take a quiet time out of the gate. Turn left and walk to the street crossing the road to cross the bridge. Turn right and not far is the important sight of Budapest, St. Ishte's Temple. There are also many restaurants and coffee shops near the hotel. Everyone is relaxing and eating, drinking and enjoying leisure time! The hotel has a turn-down service with two small chocolates and a capsule coffee machine. Nice place and time, maybe someday will run to relive!
Hotel location is good, downtown. The hotel has a long history and opened in 1856. The whole hotel has a strong culture and is similar to the Peace Hotel in Shanghai. Hotel prices are moderate and cost effective. Walk about 15 minutes from the Danube. It is convenient to shop around and there are many supermarkets. The breakfast is very plentiful and suitable for bringing children together. The hotel has a swimming pool spa. The room can accommodate an extra bed. Very satisfied!
The hotel is still very good, the interior facilities are very new and the accommodation is very comfortable. The hotel is about 10 kilometers away from the city, but the journey from the city center is very congested. There are no other facilities around. If you live in a hotel, it is best to buy all kinds of items you need to bring in advance. The hotel's breakfast is good, it is the level of the two above the European average, the buffet dinner is also good, the price is also affordable. The only downside is the check-in time. I am going to the hotel at 1pm, but I have to check in at 3 o'clock. I will go to the water after I have stored my luggage at the front desk. [Hotel selling point] Many swimming pools, the swimming pool is very advanced, there is a massage pool, indoor glass cover sun pool. Both pools belong to the hotel, and the AQUA WORLD Water World, which is attached to the hotel, can be swiped with a room card. There are more swimming pools, including a children's paddling pool, 2 massage pools, a large wave pool, and lots of water. Slides, slides. After checking in with the child from 4:30 to 7:00, then return to the hotel for dining, still very comfortable! It is highly recommended for self-driving players who want to spend a day in a busy European trip!
The hotel is located on the Andras Street in the city center. The bus and subway are very convenient. It is 10 minutes to reach the Danube and it is very comfortable to take the tram. There are many luxury stores on Andrássy Avenue, and Hungarian watch tax rebates are over 21 [%].
The bed is a double bed. It should be 1.8 beds. The three people can't sleep very well, but they can make it. The scenery is invincible. Sitting in the room, you can overlook all the sights on the other side of the river. It is right by the river and the night view is very beautiful. The closest to the Chain Bridge is right out of the hotel. After crossing the bridge, you will reach the Buda Palace. You can walk up or experience the cable car if you are physically fit. Just a few minutes left from the hotel is the Elizabeth Bridge, then the Liberty Bridge, and you will reach the Central Market. Walking out of the hotel to the rear is the business district, which is quite lively.
Come to Budapest for the second time. The overall evaluation of the hotel is "small and beautiful", a five-minute walk near Parlament, an old building. After dinner, you can also take a look at the night view and walk back to the hotel along the river. We arrived at the store at 12 noon, and the front desk let us wait in the hotel cafe for 15 minutes before we checked in. The big bed room is not big, but it is clean and tidy, and the decoration is more modern. I like it more than some old-style hotels in Europe. There are basic things for breakfast and hot food. The only regret is that the hotel does not have a kitchen. If you are tired, you will not have to eat at the hotel. In short, the price is quite high, recommended!
Added 120 Euro for a room on the Danube. The room is not big, but the roof is very high. It is estimated to be more than 4 meters. The four seasons of Budapest are very powerful. But the service here is very poor. Absolutely not the four season standard. Because of the extra money to upgrade the Danube room, the porter did not send the baggage to the room for 2 hours. In short, the feeling is to give a tip to work. The upgraded room view is fantastic. This season is much better than Prague. There is momentum.
This is the best hotel I've stayed on when traveling in Eastern Europe.
As soon as I entered the hotel room, I felt very warm and comfortable.
There's free water and cola, both tomorrow. This is not available in many hotels.
The bath water is also very large and hot, and I personally like it.
Breakfast is western food, but a little more than other hotels.
The location is also a hotel I am very satisfied with.
Close to subway station, bus station, easy to go anywhere.
Fisherman's Bastion can be reached on foot from the hotel in less than ten minutes.
Recommended for freelancers in Budapest.
The hotel is very clean and tidy, with convenient transportation and convenient access to the airport. Surroundings are red light districts and gambling alternative drug dispensing points, a little bit messy.
What a beautiful city! We were privileged to stay at the Petnehazy Club Hotel, located in an isolated and forested area. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a week's stay. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful with good places to walk, the people who were at the reception desk spoke enough English that we were able to ask the questions that we had. Even though it's a bit out of the range of the great transit system in Budapest the hotel has a morning and evening run to the transit center. When we missed the hotel run we were able to take a taxi. I hope that I have the opportunity to stay here again . The restaurant was convenient and the food was great.
This is freshly renovated palace, with a few buildings, inner yards, private parking and old park. Quietness and romantic atmosphere pays off the distance from the city centre. We spent 5 nights and were upgraded to suite overlooking to park and located in the main palace building. Our room was great, stylish, clean and very comfortable (just we noticed that unless you leave towels on the floor, they are not changed). Breakfast was abundant and tasty, just small and almost windowless breakfast room itself was a bit dissonance to the overall atmosphere. This hotel has great staff - all receptionists we met were very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Klebelsberg!
Due to the train the next day, I chose this hotel near the train station. The hotel looks luxurious from the exterior. The booked twin rooms are medium in size. They do not provide slippers and there is a small balcony. It's a pity it can't enjoy the rain
When the taxi draws up outside you really think they have made a mistake but grab your suitcase walk to the door straight for the lift, although the lift is being refurbished from mid-November, and press the magical button 6 you then walk into the most amazing open space reception area which is mannered by George who makes your stay very welcoming. He advised us about the Metro M2 which was a short walk away just be careful at the station we were warned to keep our handbags tightly to our body by a charming old lady. Back to the hotel review the rooms were clean, spacious and had everything you needed for your weekend stay. No cooked breakfast but the assortment of cooked meats made up for it. Umbrellas were provided which was great as our weekend consisted of a lot of rain LOL.
The hotel is very close to the subway station, you only need to go through a park to climb Castle Hill. For those who do n’t like to walk, it ’s troublesome, because they have to take the subway to get to the mountain to go up the mountain. There are also dm supermarkets and other supermarkets nearby, there are post offices, restaurants need to walk a while, but they are acceptable.
The whole is like a domestic express hotel. The rooms are not large, they are simple, and the style is relatively young. There is no shower curtain, and the bathroom is full of water. WiFi is fine. The window view of my room was the train station, but it was not noisy.
There are still a lot of choices for breakfast. Although it is Western food, there are always many types that can fill your stomach.
Check out is fast, which is better. There is a small souvenir shop downstairs. The owner is very kind and helped me.
Hygiene can't fault it.
This place is very quiet, there are few people at night, and I like lively suggestions to live in the city of Pez. This is Buda, scenic.
The location is not the most central, BUT there are buses just outside the door in both directions taking you to the metro/tram/city. Our room was spacious, air conditioned and comfortable, even if the aircon was old fashioned and not the most quiet. Yes, it is 50 m down to the office, but the second building is perfectly fine! Only drawback was the shower with intermittent hot water, which was fixed promptly after a phone call, but still had to wait for the water heater to warm up. The service was excellent, with the the staff really doing their best to help. They also serve some amazing hot sandwiches at all hours, which is perfect after a night out!
We booked THE LAST ROOM for 45 €. The ad did say it would be under the roof, which we didn´t mind. When we got there and looked at the room it was a lumber room with a titable square complitly wooden "window". The lumberroom did have a bed and a TV, but no window. I refused to take the so called "junior room" and the desk lady got very upset at me. She complained at the tourist, that want to have a room for 45 € in Budapest. She offered a "standard room" that would cost more. I did insist on the standard room for the same money, which we finaly got. The desk lady was still upset about my complainings. She said the room has a window, and a wooden square is also a window - because its possible to be opened - and if I want to read during daytime I can turn on the light. Every word I said she turned around. She was very unfriendly and would probably say the same about me.The standard room we got now had old garbage in the dresser, remains of a former towel bar at the bathroom wall and a loose electric wire going across the floor entering the bath room, also an open drain in the bathroomfloor. Because of my behaviour our room did not get cleaning service the next day (we had booked for 2 days). But after all I have to say I just wished to be treated well as a customer, that is not satisfied. There should be professional training for situations like that. The desk lady got realy upset about the fact I could not be happy with the lumber room without daylight and the situation kind of escalated. She also complained that I did not say Thank You for getting another room. At the end I got the impression the 45 €-room is a magnet to get tourists there, after tourists get the choice of an upgrate to standard room. The hotel gets renovated from outside, maybe in future also inside. So just be careful not to complain :-)
