The location of the hotel is really good. It is on the Thames River, and No. 10 Downing Street is behind it. The safety is definitely not to be said, and the surrounding environment is also very outstanding. You can see the London Eye directly from the room you booked, but the hotel itself has a sense of age. The balcony is a bit depressing because the railing is too low and the windows cannot be fully opened. It’s really a pleasant surprise to have a hot water bottle in the hotel’s supporting facilities. There are matching slippers, shampoo and conditioner. Blue is shampoo and white is conditioner. Very old and cheap shampoo. Dry. No toothbrush or shower gel. A deposit of 60 pounds is required for check-in, and all expenses during the check-in process will be deducted from the deposit. I drank two bottles of water and ate a breakfast which cost 23 pounds. Breakfast should be 17 pounds. Breakfast is normal. You can try English breakfast. There are two stalls to communicate with the front desk during meal time (7:30 and 10:00). There are not many places to have breakfast in the surrounding area, and you have to walk a distance. There is no hall from the nearest pret. Eating is embarrassing. It’s actually very safe to walk around at night. It’s a good choice to go to see Buckingham Palace and Big Ben. Wake up the next morning and make an appointment in advance to see Van Gogh Monet in the National Gallery. The hotel is very close to the attractions in the city center. It is recommended to walk in Chinatown and Regent Street. The taxi is all one-way and it will be very slow.

As an established hotel, the location is absolutely very good. The overall service was good, praise the restaurant and concierge, the front desk was a bit disappointed. Maybe we arrived early and the experienced front desk wasn't working yet. The room wasn't packed, we spent the night flying and wanted to take a bath and change clothes. The front desk let us go to the fitness center. The key is that when we move the luggage to the fitness center via the stairs (because there is no elevator to take the first floor), the fitness center has not yet opened the door! !! !! I roll my eyes ... the breakfast buffet is rich and the restaurant is beautiful. Another regret is the exterior wall decoration of the hotel, which was originally fancy for this historic building, and was a little disappointed. This hotel should also be informed in advance.

position: The location is quite good, 3 minutes walk from the National Gallery. If you can work hard, you can walk to Chinatown and Buckingham Palace. service: No one sees anyone in service. But it’s all done. The service is in place, the kind of British style that is not affectionate. Free shoes, and the time returned quickly in 15 minutes. food: The breakfast was very good. There are a lot of service staff, the form is self-service order (there is a Chinese choice, in the lower right corner of the menu, pay attention). For the first time, drink a luxurious version of hot chocolate (with three ingredients, marshmallows, CREAM and chocolate chips). design The chandeliers in the hotel lobby are their famous places, and there is a red in the white crystal. There is also a corresponding Mark Memorial Cup for sale at the front desk. We are 2 large and 2 small, booked triple rooms, plus a bed for free. Very NICE.

Perfect!!! In a nutshell. My wife and I have been fortunate to have stayed in some lovely hotels both in London and worldwide and the Wellesley is one of those gems. The staff are courteous, extremely professional very friendly and meticulous in the finer details even presenting my wife with a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The building is beautiful, spotlessly clean and just gorgeous. We were lucky to receive a room upgrade looking across Hyde Park wow it didn't disappoint and for any cigar smokers, take a visit to the biggest humidor in Europe, it's breathtaking! Many thanks to everyone at The Wellesley, we will be back.

There is nothing to say about the sanitation of the equipment. It is one of the best in the hotel. The room layout is quite satisfactory. The details of the guest rooms are highlights. There is no special place for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the service is very bad! First of all, two people with a 4-year-old child can not stay in the so-called super-bed type, the hotel will let you upgrade, each £ 220 per day, and tell you that you can send two breakfasts to you, you have agreed, At 12 o'clock in the afternoon, your child is already asleep, the hotel will not give you the room right away, let you wait until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, you can tell the hotel to discuss the situation, if you have no upgraded room type, you can give me The original room type, the hotel told you that you can not stay, set the two to stay, bring the child is three people, must upgrade, or can not live three people, I said, well, please give me a room Booked room type, my husband can't live, can you always? The front desk went to the back to find the manager. The manager immediately said that the room with a price of 220 pounds can be given to you in 15 minutes. I further confirmed that I originally booked a room of 33 square meters. If you add 229 pounds, it must be a room of 52 square meters, and send breakfast for 3 people. The front desk confirms that there is no problem. Finally, the check-out still charges for one day's breakfast. Finally, After a theory, I returned. Having said that, the service is good, everyone has the final say, in short, I will not go to live again, too much trouble, this service is too cumbersome! After staying for two days, we went to Rosewood, which was cheaper, better service, and uniquely located. It also gave children extra beds for free. In short, this hotel is too proud, no human touch, find ways to let you add money to upgrade! Upgrade does not provide good service! Never go to live again, everyone should be cautious! However, the couple still recommended to live, the room is more modern, the floor is very comfortable!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Athenaeum at the beginning of a longer trip, as a splurge to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We had a park view room on the third floor. Everything about this place is a delight, from the courteous service, great location, the spacious and well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, the private club on the top floor and the new gym. The staff were so welcoming and solicitous, and when we got into our room we found a lovely plate of chocolate-covered strawberries (with gold leaf!) and a kind note wishing us a happy anniversary. We would definitely stay again, if funds permitted (and if the coronavirus pandemic ever allows us to travel again). Highly recommend if you are looking to treat yourself.

We stayed at Hub by Premier Inn London at Westminster Abbey February 6-12, 2020 and again February 17-19, 2020. It was an exceptional experience. The moment we walked in for the first time, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They quickly checked us into our rooms and offered free coffee and tea at the lounge across from the lobby. We went to our rooms and they are a bit small, but, honestly, perfect for what we were using them for. We are from the US, so we spent all of our time in London sightseeing. We were really only here to sleep. Our early mornings and late nights made us super tired, so the free Costa coffee literally saved us so much money! Loved this perk! This hotel is so clean and smells great. The beds were so comfortable and everything was so modern. Loved how I could control everything in the room from a panel right behind the bed! This hotel is super close to a tube station so it is very convenient to move around the city. It is also, literally, a one minute walk to Westminster Abbey! And just around the corner is Big Ben and Palace of Westminster! For a few months we checked hotels all around London for best locations/prices and this is literally the very best! I cannot believe how affordable it was for how close it is to everything and the quality of the hotel. I could not have asked for a better location and better experience! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family! Thank you all so much and we hope to see you again soon! We miss it so much!

This was my second stay at the Berkeley. The staff are always fantastic. So welcoming and so professional. I arrived early and my room was not ready but I was already looking forward to returning after lunch. Once back at the hotel I was informed I had been upgraded to a balcony junior suite which is very generous. I had asked when making reservation to not have a room designed by Robert Angell, however as with my first stay these were the only available rooms. I feel as though these are the least sort after rooms and I find them a bit dull and void of any flair - just a personal preference. As a result I stayed for 2 nights of my 4 nights stay at The Berkeley and moved to their sister hotel The Connaught. The hotel were very kind to cancel my last 2 nights at late notice after a very kind gentleman from reception showed me an alternative room. The room was, however, perfectly comfortable and the balcony provided a nice space with a good view even though it rained for most of my visit to London. The room was a bit small for a junior suite. The bathroom is great and features a large bathtub and a walk in shower with good water pressure. The 2 televisions were on flexible wall mounts which is always nice as you get a good view wherever you chose to sit. There was an espresso machine and kettle in the room and they were kind enough to provide me with an iron as soon as I asked. The hotel have a number of measures to help keep guests and staff safe with all staff wearing face masks and hand sanitiser available in the lobby and outside the lifts on guestroom floors. They also provided face masks, hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes in the room. Overall I felt safe and I certainly trusted them to do their best in this regard. Breakfast was a treat and I found the breakfast team very warm and welcoming. The Collins Room is also bright and airy and the perfect space for that time in the morning. The blue bar staff were professional and the cocktails were fantastic. I did not have the opportunity to try the Berkeley bar, perhaps on another visit. Overall I really like this hotel and I think the staff are great, however with the rooms you never know what you are going to get as the room categories mostly feature a mix of designs that are very different and this has it's pros and cons.

It's very good. Luxury but not particularly luxurious and extravagant, not bad. Britain's oldest luxury hotel. There are many groundbreaking facilities and services. For example, the first elevator, the separate restroom - the former hotel was a public restroom, and even earlier it was a shop, a bunch of people sleeping together. Not only have innovations in these hardware and software, Savoy has changed some of the social laws that should be. The first big manager was Caesar · Liz, the founder of the Ritz Hotel in Paris, Caesar · Liz felt that the UK was a bit conservative after working at the Savoy Hotel for 9 years, so I went back to Paris to create a beautiful Hotel. What is amazing is that there are many Chinese elements here, especially the restaurants. The wallpapers are Chinese patterns, and many Chinese related paintings are hung on the walls. The gift shop also hangs a portrait of Qianlong. Many hotel breakfasts in the UK are not buffet meals, and Savoy is not a buffet. But the breakfast tastes good~ I ordered something in the restaurant at night, two cups for two people, and a small cake and a stack of mixed nuts, only 11 pounds~ cheaper than the top hotels in China~ Because my book was published just a few years ago, the title of the book "Take the leaves to pick flowers", brought a copy to the UK. Welcome everyone to buy (Jingdong and Dangdang), definitely worth reading ~ together poetry and distant ~ Https://item.jd.com/12475277.html Http://product.dangdang.com/26437243.html Item.jd.com/12475277.html Product.dangdang.com/26437243.html

I'm not really a fan of hostels but I have to say this one was very good. As the name suggests there is an onsite pub which is very trendy and the staff are very friendly, especially the Italian supervisor. The beds are comfy and they have little baskets next to where you rest your head which is quite handy for your phone, wallet etc. The showers are very nice and the location is good. There were a few small things which I think could be worked on; a) often the toilets were quite dirty or even overflowing b) I think a small light would be useful next to each of the beds as when trying to sleep it can be a little annoying with the big light on if other people are still awake and c) whilst the Italian lady was really helpful in getting me some vegan food for breakfast I think some official vegan options would be good for the breakfast menu and the burger menu as it would make it easier for both me and the staff instead of having to modify already existing almost vegan options. However, they do have soy milk for the coffees which was great! Would stay again!

Booked last minute as a break for me and my daughter as we have had a rough year. Hotel very nice and room exeptionally clean but small amd compact, lovely bathroom. We were woken this morning at 7am! (Sunday) by trolleys taking food to dining room (opposite our room) /doors banging open and closed for said trolley I assume and staff chatting whilst tbey were doing this. Also the windows could probably do with soundproofing as it was very clear to hear the cars outside as well as people chatting outside the window and so was woken a couple of times during the night too! Also, although you can vet food in the restaurant, this was just warmed up in a microwave out of the fridge. There doesn't appear to be an actual kitchen on site to cook fresh food? Unless they just didn't cook fresh food on a Saturday night?

Just arrived home from a 3 night stay at the Sydney House Hotel in Chelsea. From the moment we arrived we felt completely safe. The hotel was spotlass and could not fault it. Beautiful and quiet place to stay in the centre of London. We were quite worried about staying in London but as our daughter was having an operation at The Royal Marsden 2 minutes away we did not have a choice but as I said before it was spotlessly clean and felt safe staying here. The Manager was so nice and when we ordererd food the first evening he did not charge as he said we were their first customers since covid. We thought that was such a lovely gesture it made our break. We would not hesitate to stay here again when we are down in this part of the country again. Thank you again for a great stay in your beautiful hotel.

Our “cosy room” was indeed small but beautifully designed and appointed with top quality furnishing and fittings, perfect for a one or two night stay. Despite the busy road we hardly heard the traffic and we slept very well in the comfortable bed. Staff were delightful. We don’t usually stay in this area and only chose it for proximity to the Tutankhamen exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, but I would absolutely stay again on our next trip.

Super hotel! From the moment I walked into the hotel's door, it felt like walking back to the Victorian era! The furniture and furnishings of the hotel are antiques, and the retro experience is particularly strong! Although the room is small, it is very comfortable, and the toiletries are from Pan Heligan, which can be said to be great! Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant was small and beautiful, and the cutlery was so cute!

My Vegan wife, and Non-Vegan me, had Afternoon Tea at The Egerton House Hotel. We arrived just a little early from our speedy taxi ride, checked in at the front desk, and a wonderful gentlemen named Thomas greeted us and showed us to our table. The room was beautifully decorated and the seating comfortable. Thomas went through all of the options and explained the different teas available and what they went with. After bringing our tea, Thomas brought out the 2 tiers of most delicious sandwiches, scones and sweets. All of the items were delicious and Thomas brought us each an additional plate of sandwiches. My wife was raving about the vegan items that she received. We basically ate until we couldn't eat anymore, it was just that good. On a previous trip to London we had Afternoon Tea at a different hotel, but his was by far the best! What made a wonderful experience extra special was Thomas. We had some wonderful conversations with him, he was just the nicest person, and we were truly grateful we met him.

When my child left the hotel, I complained that I stayed at the hotel entrance because she felt that she had no face when she let others know that we were guests of this hotel. Even the children feel that it is shameful to live here, and the conditions of the hotel are limited. The facade of the hotel is only two or three meters wide, all rooms use a staircase, and it is a vertical one. There was no restaurant, so breakfast had to be delivered to the door of the room, only two slices of bread, one boiled egg, jam and butter, a cup of tea or coffee. My biggest concern is the fire problem. Once the low-rise room is on fire, the upstairs tenants are hard to escape because there is only one narrow and steep staircase.

The shopper preferred, Harold turned to the corner, next to the Harold underground parking lot, you can watch luxury cars. Because there is a friend who loves shopping, we chose to stay here for three nights. We rarely lived in such a boutique hotel before, but I didn't expect the experience to be very good. Both the front desk and the person responsible for luggage and cleaning are very attentive; the hotel is small and beautiful, but the rooms are large and comfortable, beautifully furnished, and the sofa is free for children. (This time I lived in five hotels in the UK, only one of them received an extra bed fee, which is very friendly to families with children). The adjacent room at the front desk is a library and a bar, breakfast is also here, in addition to the continental breakfast, you can also order a single point. It is not without flaws. For example, the mattress should not be an independent spring. Turning over will affect the people around you; the bathtub and the shower are integrated, and you must slip carefully when entering or exiting. In short, it is a very cute experience, thank you for the staff here, and thank you for the three glasses of champagne. See you next time in London.

The location is very good, in the rich area, very quiet and courteous quality. The subway is very close and the traffic is convenient. The most important thing is that the service is absolutely good, gentleman level, super five stars, top star! The single-person big fat man will feel smaller and the bathroom is small, but the hygiene is absolutely clear. In summer, individual houses may not have air conditioning, and only natural winds will cool down. It is definitely worthwhile to experience a traditional classic British style: old manual door elevators, slamming wooden floors, and people on the corridor walls who have stories telling you about the nostalgic English bathing equipment. There is also a gentleman level service!

Colliers Hotel was booked because it was midway between Victoria Station and the exhibitions I wanted to visit during my two day stay. I didn't read the Trip Adviser reviews until after I had booked. The whole hotel is rather dated, but I was shown to my room, which was a single, small, but perfectly adequate for just me. I had a look in the 'bathroom', which was a sort of module. There was no plug in the washbasin, making it difficult to wash. Then I checked out the toothmug... it was filthy. Nobody would want to use it. The tiny TV was 'interesting' to watch because the picture was all wrong, sort of negative. I had been warned that the heating wouldn't go on till 5pm and go off at midnight, hence, as it was a cold night, I was cold. An electric heater had been offered, but at midnight I wasn't about to pad out to Reception to ask for one. The Receptionist was at pains to show me the list for breakfast: Tea or Coffee (instant), brown or white bread to toast yourself, two kinds of jam sachets, honey, butter, cornflakes and high fibre flakes. The dining room is down steep stairs in the basement, which is impossible for disabled guests. It was advertised as a Continental breakfast. Surely that would include croissants, fresh rolls and real coffee? Chipped crockery didn't go down well with the guests, either. Also, breakfast was only from 8 - 9, which meant that if you had an early start for business meetings, you had no chance. The washing up was being done by hand and rubbish bags were both there and in the hallway where we could leave out luggage as we had to check out by 10am. But the most dangerous and illegal thing about staying there was that the fire doors, which of course should be kept closed apart from the odd time, though they were all closed when I arrived and was shown to my room, when I started out for dinner, they were all held back by permanent hooks, which had been fitted for the purpose. I subsequently closed the one leading to my room. When I asked the night receptionist about it, he told me to ask after 9am in the morning. I did, and the daytime receptionist didn't know that they were shut, he claimed.
